So I was running errands and decided to stop at Waba Grill to grab some dinner. I went with the Spicy Asian Chicken Salad. I was actually surprised. I didn't want it to be super spicy, but it was just enough. The dressing was tasty and the veggies actually tasted fresh. The pic in the store claimed it had a double portion of chicken... and it did. By the time I was almost done with the veggies, I realized there was still a lot of chicken left... I really don't pay attention to the whole veggies to chicken ratio when eating... haha... but this time it caught my eye. Waba did a great job for the social distancing as well. There were squares on the floor to show you where to stand and signs everywhere to remind you to be cautious. Do not order for delivery through the waba grill app!!! I ordered food and waba works with door dash and Uber Eats for delivery, well last night it got handed off to Uber Eats and my food never showed up and got cancelled. Never got an email saying that they were going to refund my order or anything. Every time I called they told me that the driver picked the food up and that I would need to call Uber Eats. The next morning I went in and talked to the Manager and she basically told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that she did her job and it's not her fault, then she said that this one time she would give me just the bowl I ordered and not my full order that I placed. My order was $32 one bowl is not worth that much. I reached out to Uber Eats and they said that I would need to reach out to waba grill, so it was just a bunch of back and forth. I only ordered on the app so I could get points but I will no longer be doing that anymore. This was my 1st time ordering at this location. I'm a fan of WABA GRILL , ordering in my town quite often . So i know how it should taste like . But at this location the ingredients are really bad . The steak was paper dry , not juicy like other locations. salad was so super bitter , carrots were dry . The only thing that taste good and fresh was the tiny tomatoes. To find out what's causing the bitterness in the salad , i started to look through the salad and found many rotten old salad pieces . Even the cucumber was old mushy and turning yellow ! Unbelievable!! This location should be investigated by the health department. Most disgusting salad I've ever taste in my life . Ordered ahead of time. Arrived 30 minutes after I placed the order, employees were very rude and ignored me when I said I was here for a pick up. They continued to ignore me and my order for 10 minutes, even though the restaurant was not busy. I tried to check if all my order was correct, they were pushy and said it's all in there and hurried me off the counter. Came home and was missing onions, avocado, and other condiments and items that were requested. I would over look all that usually.... I'm kind of biased so I don't think this review is completely fair. But. I think the food here is only average tasting, especially the meats and the sauces. I do know it is almost like a fast food chain just a little bit better, though I say I am biased because it is basically what I can make at home. Rice and meat. I do recommend going to the location and seeing what kind of deals they are advertising on the posters or windows because I saw a sign for four bowls for $20 which is a steal. I can't complain too much about my experience. Especially considering that this is a chain. I do like that they have lots of sauce options, and I got a little bit addicted to the spicy sauced at the house. You have to ask for it, but they are very generous when you do ask. The food seemed over seasoned and burnt. The staff was extremely rude and the cashier barely spoke or understood English. I get the need to work and necessity. There is no clear management to supervise this store. My wife asked for some garlic wanna sauce and she yelled at my wife telling it was inside the bag. We looked in the bag and there was no sauce. Not only was this employee rude but then just walked away. I walked up to the counter and raised my voice for the girl to acknowledge me. I don't understand employers, they hire people that do not want to work or are extremely rude with customers. There is no reason for attitude when the customer is spending money. If the employees don't want to work send them home. Let them be rude to their people not people that are paying for services. If it wasn't for customers you will not have a business.
