I wish to comment on my numerous visits for their massage treatments they offered, i tried and…read morereceived with 100% satisfaction always, so all my aches pains on various areas of body were always sorted out, and i went away feeling engerised healthier and happier after each visit there. Since under New Management from last Spring to now, all the Doctors and Therapists who have treated me, have been 100% professional at their application of each of my treatments I received there. Please all old regular and new customers look at their own website, that fully details their treatments they offer, or just call in their shop to enquire about their Chinese Medicine Herbs and alternative therapies they offer to help with so many health ailments and conditions which are not fully be sorted out by other well established ways and methods under the National Health Service or else where. Please visit there if is it local to you, I am sure you will not be disappointed after your first visit but will go as often as you need too to keep yourself in fairly tip top condition. i will be visiting their again this year, for my treatments and will have acupuncture for both my arthritis knees now which I know will benefit me greatly afterwards. I wish the management and the doctors and therapists working there many years of Good Fortune and a successful business as payment of all their professional excellent customer service they all provided to all old and new customers alike. Every one is treated as an individual every time, not like some places we have experienced in the past as just a name not as a individual man or woman. GORDON CUTTER

If I could give more stars I would!. I have never had acupuncture before but after weeks of pain…read morefrom my neck to my shoulder that was moving down my arm to my fingers, getting worse on a daily basis, not even to be able to open or close a car door, and a painful struggle to put my Bra on, I decided to browse the internet for a local massage therapist. I was not sure of what treatment I needed. after a thorough phone consultation, Dr lily suggested that a 90 min acupuncture therapy would be the best way to start. That first treatment felt like a miracle. Dr lily was so professional and explained everything of what she was doing to get my whole body running effectively. I opted for a course of five 90 minute treatments. I have just finished my fourth and I cant believe the difference in me, not only is my shoulder feeling free with no pain, my other ailments that I didn't even go in for have subsided. Constipation, of which I had been suffering for literally months, and a bad hip that was caused by a road accident years ago, that left me limping the first five steps after sitting, is now non existent! I would never had believed it. I cant recommend highly enough. Just BRILLIANT!!!!!

I purchased a voucher for a 1 hour full body massage at this clinic, which promised a relaxing and…read moresoothing experience, for a reasonable £19. When I arrived at the clinic in Ealing I was told that I was an hour early, but that they could see me then and there. I had a consultation (which I thought was unusual for just a massage) with the masseur and the receptionist/her translator. She looked at my tongue and stated that I had a lot of toxins in my body, and that I needed acupuncture and cupping as well as massage. The clinic was seriously untidy and the consultation room was smaller than a bathroom so I said no to acupuncture and to cupping. I had to repeat myself more than five times because they really really thought I needed them, and eventually I caved to pressure and agreed only to try cupping, still no to acupuncture. So we then go into the treatment room and the masseur asks me to take off my clothes and lie on the table, then she left the room. There was no towel and she hadnt told me what exactly to remain wearing, so I had to go out and find her to ask. I laid there in my underwear in a very small, cold room with no cover, waiting for her to come back. When she does, she proceeds with the worst head massage Ive ever experienced; she placed her thumbs at the top of my head and rubbed the same place persistently for 10 minutes. She was wearing latex gloves as well so they would catch my hair. Not pleasant at all. Then, quite a nice back rub for about 5 minutes followed by the cupping. She pressed them along my body and then popped them and I said it hurt a bit (i had made it very clear in the consultation I was nervous about it). She then put 7 on my back and left the room, with absolutely no communication. I called for her to come back, i then started to shout as the cups began to burn and pinch, as i dont think you are supposed to just leave them sucking your skin. No one came despite me shouting, and after some panic i decided to get up (very difficult and painful) and venture into the shop for the masseur, topless, to remove them. She was not there, she was having a consultation with her next patient and so i told tbe receptionist i needed her right now to take off the cups. The receptionist, barely understanding me because of her minimal English, said she would get her, but after a minutewaiting in the treatment room in agony, i went out again and the recepionist had not done a thing i asked her. She then came and took the cups off and guess what, tried tocotinue with more cupping. I said no way and she then asked me, "well, what is there for me to do??". She then gave me an awful massage (if you have seen the episode of Friends where Monica gives massages and everyone is in agony, it was worse than that) including pushing my hair backwards, like cats hate, really hard, until my "masseur" decided to come back. They spoke in Chinese, laughing, clearly about me, and I then received a continuation of a hard and nasty massage, like I had insulted her. I stayed because I didnt want to be rude but I hated every minute of it. When i left, the masseur made no eye contact with me and the receptionist tried to sell me oil (ha!) I left absolutely freezing, in pain, with a headache. I had to have a McDonalds to cheer myself up. I felt prodded, humiliated and actually a bit abused! When i got home i noticed the huge bruises on my back from her leaving the cups on, and was surprised that the "small marks" the masseur said Id have were actually huge, angry hickeya. Now, 2 days later i still have the bruises and I cannot describe how broken my back feels. Ive been in agony. My back clicks every time i move, it hurts everywhere. I feel like I need a massage (ha) but i dont want anyone touching me! All I can say is i am glad i didnt agree to the acupuncture. Dont go here unless you know exactly what to expect from cupping/acupuncture/chinese massage. Even then, you can expect rubbish communication, amateur staff and a cold and painful experience.

One thing I've realized about London is that businesses located above street-level businesses often…read moretend to be nicer than those on street-level or worse, below street-level. As is the case with the Massage Centre. Booking was easy. I popped in one day and was able to get an appointment soon - the next day if I wanted. The space is clean and relaxing unlike other spas in the area (South Beach, Luminis (fka Dove Spa)) where the spa is loud and hectic and, god for bid, the therapy rooms are located below street-level and the constant creaking of floor boards completely ruins any therapy you are paying your hard earned cash for. My therapist was knowledgeable, used appropriate pressure, and provided me with stretching techniques to help reduce the stiffness and tension in my upper back. So, all of this was great. The other great thing about my therapist was that she did not pressure me to book massages every two weeks or even every month. She had a brain on her shoulders and understands how expensive a two-week massage regimen wold be. I mean, wouldn't we all get massages every two weeks if we could afford it? I bet Kim Kardashian gets a massage daily but you know what? I'm not Kim Kardashian. I'm just a normal person with bad posture from banging away on the computer writing Yelp reviews all damn day. Nothing ruins a relaxing experience more than being made to feel bad about not treating your body awesomely by getting massages every two weeks. And I'm happy to report that no one at TMC made me feel bad about not getting a massage every two weeks. So, thanks, TMC!
