Looking for a GP? You will be highly unwelcomed here…read more Before you even get an application, you will be judged by an ancient black and white map of the surrounding area. You will be asked to locate exactly (not roughly, EXACTLY) where you live. Since it was such an old map, the only recognizable name on there was my bus stop. I explained I walk a few minutes west of that bus stop to arrive home (basically into the vicinity that they accept) - the receptionist (named Wendy) would not have it. She said if my address on my water bill (you need to bring proof of residence for at least the past three months, which is standard) does not contain the name that I point to on her ancient map (in this case, my bus stop name), then I will be ineligible to be a patient at their establishment. Whoa, what? I explained to her that the street I live on is not on her map and that she could pull up Google maps and input the address on my water bill. She told me it wasn't her job to do so and repeated that if I can't point to her where I live on her ancient map, I will not be accepted. I told her it only took me less than ten minutes to walk to this establishment, to which she said, '...we don't care how long it took for you to walk here from your house, if you are not on the map, you are out of luck.' By this point, another lady named Lucia came over and typed in my address to Google maps to verify my location. Long story short, I'm eligible but I was so put off by the sheer rudeness and incompetency of the receptionist, I no longer wanted to be a patient there. On a positive note, I visited a GP in central Richmond on Parkshot street and they were wonderful (a review of them to come later).

When I'm in London, the yoga always feels a little weird, not satisfying. I've shopped a lot of studio in LDN, and Heartcore in Notting Hill has been my favorite so far! It's absolutely adorable, well kept and well staffed. Front desk was incredibly welcoming and warm, and I loved Sarah's class! One of the best flows I've taken in awhile, even in LA. Very unique flow and I felt wonderful afterwards. Save yourself the run around and take class here!
