EXCELLENT little one stop complementary therapies stop. While I only took advantage of massage while I was there, they also offer osteopathy, acupuncture, homeopathy, psychotherapy, counseling, hypnotherapy...you name it! Now, normally I'm not a new age junkie by any means. I want a GOOD massage from someone who I trust and with good solid qualifications. I saw Fiona, and she was beyond professional with magical fingers of extraordinary goodness. I never felt like they were going to try to get me into any mumbo jumbo that I wasn't comfortable with at all. I have an actual phobia of all things medical, so the touchy touchy by strangers isn't something I enjoy. (Well, I take that back, it probably depends on the stranger...*winkwink,nudgenudge*) I figure with all my anxiety about it, my rating counts for double, right? Anyhow, I highly recommend. read more

Paul set up Alternatives 23 years ago and manages the clinic. Suzanne is our Osteopath and also does medical acupuncture. Suzanne is one of twenty different therapists working here and treats back and neck pain and all kinds of muscle strains, tendon and ligament problems,etc. Christian Scahafer is our Podiatrist who gets many referals from local GPs and carries out all standard chiropody work plus Fungal Nail Treatment by Laser, Ingrown Toenail Surgery and musculoskeletal assessments and provision of orthotics. In addition we have an Acupuncturist,Massage,Cranial and Reflexology therapists,Counsellors, a Homeopath and Nutritional Therapists We also do Pilates, Amatsu,Hypnotherapy,Kinesiology,Reiki and have a Dermalogica Beauty Therapist.

I saw him because I was having a pain in my both feet and couldn't understand where it was coming…read morefrom. He hardly looked at my foot at all. he touched it very lightly and then said he can't figure it out where it's coming from, he said I should see a bone specialists. I even said to him "do you think it's my arches" and he said no your arches are fine. He was at my house for 5 minutes maximum and even tho he couldn't "help" me still took full payment. I did see a bone specialist who then referred me to a podiatrist because it's my foot not my bone. the podiatrist then went on to confirm it's my arch. Don't waste your money, see a proper podiatrist in a clinic
