I always stay at the W when I'm in Nashville. Great location and accommodating staff. I'm always given a room with a nice view and wrap around seating with a coffee table. So you don't just have the bed or desk to sit. Coffee bar on the lobby makes delicious oatmilk strawberry matcha iced lattes. read more

The front desk person was very accommodating and nice. The check in was great and the person checking us in answered our questions and how to get around with some useful recommendations. The room was large and comfortable. A very modern motif with an open bathroom layout, but we enjoyed the room and the bedding was comfortable allowing us a couple of good nights sleeping. The hotel is large and modern, but even though we were there on December 5th. There were no Holiday decorations making the lobby cold and uninviting. Speaking of cold, the lobby was literally cold to freezing, so much so that they had to close the front doors and make them inoperable and we were asked to use a side door. Not a big deal as Nashville was hit with some unseasonably cold weather during our stay, but we wonder if they have the same issue when Nashville is warm? The Costco package we had came with a breakfast buffet which is $39 value (it is not worth $39). The food was warm at best and not hot even though the quality was good, but cold bacon, French toast and eggs is not ideal. The breakfast was not well organized. There was confusion on where to sit and we were told that we should have waited to be seated, but there was no hostess that we could see. The area is not ideal for dining as we were told this also doubles as a work space for the hotel clientele (Suggestion: maybe section it off during the breakfast buffet and make it clear where to sit and how to be seated). There were managers there not helping and ensuring the buffet was full and or hot filling coffee. A special shout out to the gentleman making omelets. He was left to himself with no help and almost everyone there requesting omelets. The power on his hot plate went out and he requested a manager, but they did not get there for 10 minutes, in the meantime he improvised and kept going. He was a great caring employee and unfortunately I forgot his name ( he was relatively new and came from Jamaica). He went above and beyond to be friendly and nice to everyone, unlike any of the managers or wait staff that we saw. In summary, great rooms, bad breakfast buffet and could use a little more charm and friendliness (outside our omelet person). read more

Came here on a Thursday night for drinks on the rooftop. There was some music in the background, and the place was not that busy which for us was nice as we had lots of options to choose from when sitting down. Opted to sit outside and love our view! The bartenders were very friendly, and even came to our table directly to grab our drink orders and bring them to our table. read more

I did this for a birthday trip and it was the best part of Nashville for me. The pool is beautiful and nice and service is amazing there with pretty decent drinks. We stayed here on a business trip to Nashville. Outstanding hotel, excellent location, great service, a wonderful staff, great workers on the curb to help with guidance to Ubers and Taxis, and overall a very friendly Southern hospitality. We had the chance to do some sightseeing and the staff helped us here as well. We were guided to the famous Parthenon of Nashville and the Hermitage of Andrew Jackson. As well as the Country Music HOF! A wonderful hotel for business or pleasure. Highly recommended! read more

My stay at the W hotel was a very pleasant one! From beginning to end the staff was friendly, attentive and informative. They give you a water bottle upon arrival to fill on your floor which we ended up using a lot! Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Pool is open 24/7 which I thought was fun. My boyfriend and I went for a swim at 1am and it was so fun. They have 2 restaurants we unfortunately didn't check those out during our stay but we did get coffee at their coffee shop and it was good. The view from the lower floor was still nice. read more

This review is just for the rooftop bar. We live in the gulch and this bar has great views and I like that you can seat yourself. Servers and bartenders were all friendly. Knocking off a star because there were only 4 cocktails on the menu. The bartenders can make whatever you ask for, but it'd be nice if they put more effort into adding some more specialty cocktails onto the actual menu. We ended up with an old fashioned and espresso martini. Both were too sweet but we came for the views read more

W Hotel in Nashville Great stay for NYE and great location in The Gultch! We had a mid floor king room. I loved the bathroom doors that would slide out of the way. The rain head in the shower was so relaxing. Next to the window was a great mini bar with snacks, beers, liquors, wine, and premixed drinks. Not as well curated as it ought to be and already looks beat up, for a relatively new hotel. Odd lobby experience. Various different soundtracks playing at once, a disconcerting blend of stereotypical country, young male angst music and the more loungey house music you'd expect at a W. The result is confusing but I suppose on par with the rest of Nashville's touristy NashVegas vibe. The design is okay. They need to deal with the scorching afternoon sunlight blasting the lobby. Bring your sunscreen if you try to relax in the lobby. The Hutch restaurant was, meh. Unremarkable food, mediocre service. It's not a James Beard experience. Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed. I used to remember when Ws were a cool vibe. What could of been a bad night, Tyrell - security manager and Jenn head of food + drinks made my comfortable and heard and seen and protected. I was having an allergic. Reaction to something in the cosmic sauce and they quickly moved to fix it and get me help in some capacity. They helped me, fed me and made sure I was good before I left. So then does them. The new W Hotel in Nashville has a fabulous location. Great drinks on the rooftop. Our room had a nice view, comfortable bed, and overall was very clean and comfortable. They are still working out the kinks though, which is what forced me to leave four stars for this visit. Bathroom trash had not been emptied, our rainfall shower did not work, and the handheld sprayed everywhere because there was no shower curtain. Management apologized post stay - I am hopeful they will work out the kinks and it will be a great add for Nashville! read more

I went to park my car there on the night of December 30th. The overnight valet worker there was rude, aggressive, and not helpful. I can honestly say this ruined my experience of ever going to this hotel or anywhere near it. I've never experienced such terrible behavior coming from anyone else. Usually the valet is amazing, but not this time. If I could give zero stars, I would. His customer service needs some work to say it kindly. I was extremely disappointed in our stay. On numerous occasions, four to be exact. We were not allowed to go to certain parts of the hotel due to other scheduled events. Whether it be the rooftop bar, the pool deck, or the live music area, we were denied access as guests to Most of the well advertised areas within the hotel. Additionally the air conditioning went out in our hotel room and the engineering staff knew prior to this that there were issues. And after sending my comments to the hotel staffed themselves, I received a rather benign reply about hopes that we might stay with them again. I can't imagine am I wildestdreams why would ever consider doing so. When you spend more than $800 a night at a hotel in Nashville, you should expect much better than we received. read more

We visited from Los Angeles and heard great things about this hotel bar and rooftop bar so we came out on a Saturday. It was late. After checking out the rooftop we realized there were no food options so we headed to downstairs bar. Despite being last call and missing food order deadline, they went out of their way to accommodate us. They allowed us to order from the in-dining menu (we did not stay at hotel) and made the best drinks! I didn't catch the manager's name.... It might be a Chris?! I've stayed at many W Hotels and this one was just off. Was not the same vibe. Was at the Nashville location the week before and it was fantastic. Maybe because of the COVID restrictions in Chicago, but it was definitely on the lower end of what I normally experience at a W. read more

Our recent staycation at the W Hotel in Nashville met all of our expectations and more. Lenae who was at the reception desk was welcoming, fun, and efficient. A gentleman named Tony assured us that we only needed to ask and our needs would be addressed. We immediately felt that the staff was determined to provide us with a memorable experience. A fantastic view of Nashville came with our state of the art room; the front desk had provided us with maps so that we could do some exploring in the Gulch. We soon found out that the great view from our room was to be trumped by the view from the rooftop bar. It was lively and cozy at the same time so we had drinks before our dinner at the Dutch restaurant in the hotel. Again, we had excellent service from out waitress, Cass, who was watchful of our needs without being intrusive. We knew of the reputation of the W Hotels and were so pleased to discover that the Nashville W was both elegant and relaxing. We are excited to plan our next visit to Nashville. It can be challenging to create a hotel with every amenity imaginable and also to staff the hotel with attentive and caring people. Kudos to everyone who made this a reality. read more
