We landed in Nashville from San Diego around 12am, when we got to the hotel it was nearly 12:30am. We were greeted by this amazingly kind and patient check in concierge named Ramona! She was the sweetest, gave us all the important information for our stay and overall made our stay feel so comforting and enjoyable! She went above and beyond and let us know to contact her if we needed anything throughout the night! She was happy and helpful even considering it was nearly 1am! Thank you Ramona!!! read more

As a local, I've never stayed at the Fairlane but I've been to several events here and eaten at their restaurant. The Fairlane has a 70's upscale boutique vibe. Very unique. There's a little bar downstairs that's a cozy nook to enjoy the vibe. They used to have a little deli attached to the bar that had amazing bagel sandwiches. Idon't think it's there anymore though. Their restaurant, Ellington's is an upscale spot on the 4th floor. The food is so good. It's always a treat to come here. read more

Great hotel. As a local we have not stayed overnight but eaten at their restaurant (Ellington's) and attended many of their functions. They have a great marketing team that is always having neat events like last night's local singer meet-n-greet. They had delicious and unique appetizers and bar specials. Very friendly staff. Previously, we have eaten at their first floor breakfast Cafe. Very delicious. Their 4th floor restaurant Ellingtons is very delicious as well. Had the steak frites and when we go back ill order it again. That says a lot being that I always want to be adventurous and try new entrees but I dont want to pass up another opportunity to enjoy their frites. read more

I had an extremely poor experience attempting to check in here after arriving on a red-eye flight. I had a prepaid, non-refundable reservation, valid identification, and multiple valid credit cards available through Apple Pay, but I did not have a physical card with me. The front desk employee told me a physical card was required and said that requirement would be clearly stated in my reservation. I pulled up the reservation, and it was not there. She then told me to check the hotel's website. The language I found referred to a valid card or prepayment, but I could find nothing stating that the card had to be physically present. My reservation had already been prepaid. Because I was being directed to written policies that did not appear to support what I was being told, I briefly began recording the interaction so I could document the discrepancy and raise it with management. When the employee told me she did not consent to being recorded, I stopped immediately, even though my understanding is that Tennessee permits a participant in a conversation to record it. From there, the interaction escalated dramatically. I was ordered to leave and threatened with the police. I was frustrated, certainly, but I was not threatening or behaving aggressively. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the complete lack of effort to help after denying me the room. The employee refused to provide her name and even refused to give me access to the hotel Wi-Fi so I could try to book another hotel after arriving from an overnight flight. Even if the hotel has an internal policy requiring a physical credit card, that requirement should be clearly disclosed before a guest prepays for a non-refundable reservation. And regardless of policy, the situation could have been handled with basic professionalism and courtesy. I have requested a full refund and will update this review to reflect how management responds. read more

Wasted our time and money going to this dump for their advertised Capricious popup, only to be told that it was closed Thursdays - a day their website explicitly said it was open. Stayed at the Fairlane Hotel on Saturday night for a concert nearby, the location at 4th & Union is great close to Broadway, great restaurants. Cool boutique art-deco/midcentury modern vibe. I was welcomed with a glass of champagne which was great, check-in was easy, friendly valet who immediately took my bags to check in desk. The elevator was quick taking me to room on 10th floor but the musty, mildewy smell on the floor wasn't, also my door wouldn't open, the key worked but the door stuck. Thankfully housekeeping was on the floor & helped me open the door. Loved the bathroom, it was clean, hot water & shower & nice toiletries The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well & enjoyed the iPad with local information & welcome. I also enjoyed a beer after the show at Modern Love bar right off the hotel lobby, Black Abbey's brewing is a favorite Nashville craft beer was nice to enjoy on tap. When I went to check out I told them about the door & was told yes the doors can stick due to paint & humidity you just have to lean into the door to open it. Note their valet parking system just changed & what I thought was taken care of on my bill as the front desk told me when I checked out, then the valet said I couldn't have my car until I paid on the valet system from my phone. read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HOTEL! It was gorgeous, spacious and the staff was friendly & welcoming. Unique 70's vibe (subtle and classy!). Speaking of unique, the king room was unique with its wood design on the outside of the bathroom. There's a pool table downstairs in a library setting. So fun! Staff was fabulous!! Taylor and Hannah in the hotel. And Kimberly (and others during night shift!). at Modern Love restaurant inside the hotel. Kudos to the chef there! Wow!! read more

The rooftop bar at the Fairlane Hotel is always a fun time! They change the theme at least quarterly. Currently we have the Wicked theme for Halloween. Also the show is coming to TPAC this month! Quick bar service and plenty of seating inside and outside. Seasonal themed drinks as well making a perfect night out. Valet if staying at the hotel otherwise park at the library for $10 all day and a short walk over. read more

Beautiful hotel! They offered us a beer at check in and the beer was really good. It wasn't a beer that I had tried before so I liked the chance to try something new. We never had to wait for an elevator and the room was very clean and spacious. The lobby had a place to get bagels located inside the hotel and it was delicious. We didn't have a chance to try the in house restaurant so that is on our list for our next trip to Nashville. The employees were very friendly. We tried the pop up bar on the top floor, I felt a little old as it was mostly a very young crowd but the drinks were fun so we grabbed a drink and then went back to our room. My only complaint is the valet parking. With this being downtown, there isn't much space to park while you wait for valet to take your car and we drove around for 30 minutes before finally calling hotel. They finally said we could self park and they would remove that night's valet fee from the bill. They did remove the fee so I was taken care of but I wish I would have been given the opportunity to just self park the other nights as I felt like we waited for valet way longer than I preferred each time. We don't do much driving around Nashville so a car isn't needed more than once a day. read more

I came here this weekend to check out the pop up bar, the Alice. You have to check in and the staff will help escort you up. Once you get off the elevator, you'll experience a true Alice in Wonderland experience. The pop up bar is small but perfect to grab drinks before or after dinner. It is beautifully decorated and you can tell they put much attention to the details We didn't make reservations but went during non-peak hours. They also have valet which was about $20 read more

The pop ups in Fairlane Hotel are really cute! Right now they have a "Nash Vice" theme but when I went it was the "Bouquet Bar". If you're in Nashville, you should go! The pop-ups located in a downtown Nashville in a beautiful 4-star hotel. The pop ups in the penthouse are seasonal but you honestly can't tell because they put so much effort into the decor that it looks permanent. The curated cockatils were good! Perfect for an impromptu celebratory cocktail hour. We saw plenty of bridal parties as well. (But it's Nashville so of course.) The staff was cool and they were camera ready, but still ask, ya know. We utilized the valet. It's just easier. read more

We really would want to love this hotel... It is a renovated bank into a cool hotel with many of the original bank features maintained. Location is good that it is closed to Boardway and walkable to the Titans stadium. We were very disappointed in the housekeeping and the service from the front desk - one of the days, we asked for our room to be serviced three times and finally we gave up.. Eventually, a member of the housekeeping staff stopped up and provided us with towels... The coffee was lukewarm and super bitter. Late check out will cost you additional money. They randomly charged extra for "amenities" which were none... Super disappointed! read more

Would definitely go back. Great room, mid-century modern vibe, comfort, views, staff, low key quiet atmosphere, retro coffee shop on lobby level with great tables you can congregate around or do some work at, excellent thematically decked out rooftop lounge and outdoor space/deck with tons of cozy outdoor seating (loved it for July 4th fireworks viewing, tho food options were slim & eventually none). I sooo appreciated it not being in the thick of the crazy crowds on the main drag. It did need a real restaurant when we were there July 3-6, 2022. Love this hotel's vibe. read more

Ruthie checked us in and was Awesome! Very Professional and answered all of our questions. A definite asset to the Hotel.

It was clean and staff were really friendly, but for the price I would expect some amenities! No pool no free breakfast we didn't even have a microwave in the room. Way too expensive for what we didn't ( experience) read more

So much promise! The hotel is great value and great location. But they only have one person working the front desk. If you have gone to Nashville more than one and like visiting broadway. You tend to realize that being a couple blocks away is a good thing. The Fairlane hotel is absolutely amazing. The hotel is very cute but the musty, mold smell smacks you in the face opening the shower door. I don't think the shower has been cleaned in weeks. You don't get that kind of mold growth from one night. Also there was some stains on the carpet. We paid a lot of money for the one night we stayed because of the pet fee and it was not worth it. I will say the staff was very nice, I just wish they would clean the rooms way better as we definitely paid enough to have a clean room. read more

Let's start with the good. The hotel appears to have been renovated in last 10 years so common areas and rooms were modern, the location is in close proximity to Broadway where all the live music and bars are, but for the money the Fairlane is a NO REPEAT for me. The staff was sparse but nice, and not very well informed or helpful. If you asked 3 people( if you can locate 3) the same question there were 3 different answers. Everything from checking in, valet and rooftop access was slow and cumbersome. The focus was clearly not on the customer experience. It started with check-in where the front desk clerk watched me wrestle several bags onto a cart with one flat tire and struggle to get it onto the elevator while my husband was outside searching high and low for the valet. Two nights in a row l observed other guests complaining of waiting in excess of 30-45 minutes for the valet to be located so that they could leave. Last night there was a fiasco that l overheard where keys were lost. As usual when we returned last night the valet was MIA, so we were instructed to leave our car out front and keys with the front desk person. They don't offer any kind of receipt, so l had her hand write me a note with her name, date and time. Just in case we were towed. Secondly we paid $100/ each for roof access to a 4th of July event where we were told 2 different times to pick up our wristbands, and we were turned away after standing in line because we were misinformed. When we finally made it in a period of heavy rain prevented guests from being outside. However the interior portion that was accessible did not comfortably accommodate the 80-100 or so people. The food was good, but picnic basic and it ran out. Two drink tickets were included, but it was well liquor and after that you had to buy. Then, to end the evening we returned to the room and l turn my pillow over and there is a giant shoe print on it. I just tossed it aside and prayed for the best. For over $200 a night, $65 night valet and $200 rooftop access l expected a better experience. Fairlane is fair to midland. They need more help, better systems in place and more experienced staff handling events. We would not return. *** update*** on our final night stay we ordered carry-out and thought that we could enjoy it on the rooftop. We were told that we were not allowed access because it is an event space only. If that's the case why on earth do they advertise a rooftop as one of their amenities? read more

The service at the hotel was incredible. Every staff interaction was great. I would say though, for paying a premium for the boss suite, things could've been better. There was no fridge, no spare pillows or blankets for the pull out couch, the marble slab table completely collapsed while trying to move it to open the pull out couch. Also, the lighting in the room was pretty dim which was very annoying. Those are the negatives unfortunately. The positives are the bagel shop which was delicious and the Alice in Wonderland bar which was so fun and had great cocktails. read more

The attentiveness to service was impeccable and the best I've experienced yet. As we were completing our valet and check in, we were greeted with complimentary champagne and local beer. The interior and rooms were a striking blend of mid century modern and Art Deco sheik. Every inch of the hotel was meticulously maintained and every moment was perfectly curated for our stay. They have a fun pop up bar on the rooftop that changes out seasonally and for our visit it was Christmas, The Misfit Bar. Fun, over the top, festive and boasting with Instagrammable shots and gorgeous views. The hotel is in a prime location and walkable to everything Nashville has to offer. Our only complaint is that even as a paying, staying guest you have to pay for parking which is $50 a day. read more

This hotel has a great hype on the Website. Sadly it is like checking into the correctional institute. After a 3 hour drive the "valet" greeted us with a gruff "Checking in?!" Did not offer a cart and we had so many bags nor did he offer to help us to our room. The cafe was closed and the bar was closed. It was 2 pm. I knew immediately we had made a mistake. Beautiful penthouse bouquet bar! The staff were very friendly and the place has a wonderful scent pumping throughout the area. Some suggestions: some livelier music would help the space at night time. I feel like the music really brought down the mood of the spring space. I can't speak highly enough of this staff. We were greeted by Mauricio who had outstanding service taking us up the elevator to our table, lighting a candle at the table and talking to us about our night. He made us feel so welcome! Our server was Stephan the Elf (how can you not love the commitment) and he was equally amazing! We got incredible service and he was such a fun server. We loved talking to him. We was thoughtful to bring us blankets as we sat outside and then while we wandered the pop up for photo ops (essential) it started to rain and he brought our stuff inside and set us up with a new table! Our specialty drinks were festive and well done, we loved the peppermint puppy chow to snack on and the atmosphere was unlike anything I'd ever experienced in a bar. I had a nightmare experience in booking the meeting room. I booked the meeting room for our 11/5 annual meeting and paid the booking and food through Peerspace.com on 10/3/2023. The communications with the sale person were odd and broken. There was no follow-up and reminding. I called the front desk on 11/3, our booking was confirmed. But when I stopped by the hotel on 11/4 and 11/5, I was told there was no booking at all. We could not get even a word from the sale department (Staff and VP) after repetitive contacts by calls and email. We were left in the middle of nowhere. Our society members from all the world arrived for the conference and ended in nowhere in this hotel. The front desk staff are very polite and professional. But the management is horrible. read more
