Frozen Peach Margarita in the Party Size
    Mary P.

I LOVE THE MARGS HERE!!! I got the frozen peach margarita in the party size for my sister's birthday this past weekend and it tasted so good and did the job!!

Very shocked to know this place exists. I was headed to meet up with a colleague for a sports event and passed by this and thought, "that can't be real." Not in Texas! So I shared that I saw the place and we showed up and left with Margs to-go. They are not stingy with the liquor that's for sure. It was top shelf tequila and we had an extra shot. I would say check it out, especially if you're on the go and need something quick. Could be a good option to take to gatherings/parties. Prices are kind of steep, and given that it was National Margarita Day,- I was like hmmm we could have found way better deals but ya live and ya learn. Guy in drive thru was nice so that was a plus!

We ordered the frozen raspberry margarita and the pina colada. Although, they were really good they were kinda expensive compared to other places. It also sucks that they don't offer a small; they only offer mediums.

*Margarita only review* I believe these are the best frozen margaritas in the entire country! I am a tequila person so I definitely prefer these over daiquiris. And most other margaritas are either too sour or tart or not blended well or watered down. The consistency here is perfect! The flavors are bold and fruity. I absolutely love them that I've came 2 times already. Fyi: Over the last month or so, they have increased their prices and looks like they may have made changes to the flavor menu. But still taste great!

We had fast and friendly service on the Friday afternoon we went through the drive thru. We ordered the small original margarita on the rocks. It cost $10. It had good flavor, but I didn't detect any tequila. The straw hole is covered with tape that is tricky to remove. They serve food.

Drive through margaritas are perfect for a hot houston summer day. We got a HUGE 32 oz strawberry margaritas for only $13. Split between two people it definitely had enough tequila to be fun but also very good. It was tart and slightly sweet. They have lots of flavors I want to try next.

I wanted to come here for years! For the first time I finally came to this drive thru and was Really happy with my pomegranate extra shot margarita 24 oz. it hit the spot! I would however make it a double extra shot as it wasn't that strong.

This place is a ripoff, they're advertising "Jose Cuervo" premium margarita for $12.99 add extra shots for $1. Paid $15 for one with 2 shots. This thing tasted like sink water at best. Went inside to talk to someone about it and they said they can't do anything about it, I asked them where the José Cuervo was and they said "we don't use Cuervo tequila we use José Cuervo Margarita mix.. so to be clear that they charging 12.99 for a premium "Jose Cuervo margarita but using the same cheap well tequila and the same mix in all their drinks but charging more for the premium..the tacos were Just so so..

When my girlfriend told me they had to go margaritas! I was totally down with picking some up for us. They're were delicious and not to sweet. Refreshing and enjoyable for a nice relaxing night on the patio with the bestie!

A friend suggested we eat here for the drive thru margaritas, but since it was going to be a lunch thing I resisted. Later when another spot we were meeting at didn't work out I caved and here we were. So first off if the weather is bad you don't want to have lunch here unless your doing the drive through. Our first visit here we perused the menu and were surprised it was so small and only had burgers on it. But she had sliders and I had the jalapeno burger with rings of course. Later we realized we ordered from the burger menu and they have a larger menu as well that we missed completely! There burgers are really good, and the rings not bad. But on our second visit I opted for the chili dog. Yea that bad boy was awesome!! SO if want enjoy some nice weather with good food The W is a definite must. Margaritas to go.. well that's on you, but a rare thing to find around here.

I've ordered the same meal at both the Chicago and Houston locations for dinner . The infamous seafood trio & the spinach & artichoke dip. The pasta is pretty consistent between both locations. In Chicago we had the option to add lamb chops for about $6 a piece. However, the spinach dip in Chicago comes with garlic bread. So i was surprised when the app hit the table in housing. I thought the kitchen made a mistake but it just doesn't come that way. It really takes away from the dish. One thing I'd like to mention is the welcome shot. Not sure what it is but it's tasty. The cocktails are also cute and delicious. This most recent visit I tried put their brunch. I went with one of my favorite foodies so we shared three items . We eased in with the crab cake eggrolls. No lie, I wanted to order another one just for myself. I'd go back for that alone. We were on some true big back behavior after being influenced by an IG video so we wanted something savory and something sweet. Both the shrimp po boy and chicken & waffle looked good! Indeed they were. The bread on the po boy was soft and fluffy not dry at all. Shrimp cooked to perfection and the perfect amount of remoulade to balance it all out. The waffle seemed simple but somehow after sighs we both had one more bite. Safe to say provare is a solid option for brunch or dinner. **only reason I'm not giving a 5star is because the parking has been a hassle both times. *The QR code or link doesn't want to open * cement was unbearable * it forced me to pay for 12 hr parking * the staff says oh sometimes it doesn't work but they do tow (as if there's another option) So now you're fighting to pay instead of enjoying your experience with friends/ family etc.

Time to Order (weekday lunch): 8 minutes for a salad, 17 minutes for the Lunch Special sandwiches First off, I've got to highlight what an awesome lunch special they have. $6 for a burger or chicken sandwich is excellent! We arrived around 12:45PM. There were few enough people for me to snag the last parking spot up to the patio. You order at the bar and they'll bring food to the table. I asked how large the lunch special Lil' Chick Sammich and Lil' Creek Burgers were and they said they were on the smaller side. My interpretation was that meant something like a slider, so I ordered both the burger and the chicken sandwich with fries. They reeeeally undersold that one. The chicken sandwich was very reasonably normal sized and plenty enough for my lunch. I ended up taking the burger home. Lil Chick Sammich (4.5/5): Excellent for the value. Fresh ingredients, big piece of white meat chicken that wasn't too dry. Don't forget to ask for mayo. Fries: (4/5) Decent portions and came out reasonably crispy. Lil Creek Burger (2/5): I'd pass on burgers here. Way too salty and overcooked well done. Maybe if I had a beer with it! Overall, their lunch menu definitely has value and I'd swing by again for that if I had a working lunch.

For it to be Sasha's only third day on the job, she was attentive and able to give great Happy Hour recommendations (brussel sprouts, sticky ribs, cheeseburger egg rolls). The brussel spouts were a tad too salty, but the biscuits with jalapeño jam that I devoured made up for it lol I was overjoyed by the cheeseburger egg rolls -- I loved the chipotle mayonnaise sauce that accompanied it. They've just hit on a formula that works: A menu full of crowd-pleasers that are interesting, visually appealing, and really tasty (enough so that you can charge a little more than I want to pay for wings, for example). Combine that with a welcoming space (great outdoor seating, and interesting quotes/decor all over the walls) and an excellent bar and you've got a restaurant worth visiting. Everything we ate was good, from the bread basket on. We shared sticky ribs, cheeseburger egg rolls (a house specialty that shouldn't be missed), wings, pork belly, quail shots (a new one), etc. The cheesesteak, despite being served on a hot dog bun, was pretty tasty, and if you're in the mood for something a bit healthier, the grilled salmon plate was actually excellent. The people back there in the kitchen are doing good work. They also clearly have a whiskey focus (this is America after all); it was too hot for more than one or two whiskey drinks when we came in, but there are like five different old fashioneds on the menu, and giant signage proclaiming them $5 during lunch. I had to get at least one. $5 old fashioneds at lunch can get dangerous very quickly; I would've drank a lot more if our server was more proactive, but it's probably for the best that she left us alone. This is a great choice for a big group, and we'll do it again.

The establishment feels like a hybrid between a club and a bar rather than a traditional restaurant. Upon entry, bags are searched by security, which was unexpected. Once inside, the music volume is extremely high--to the point where it was difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to me. It even took the waitress some time to hear our order correctly due to the noise level. Regarding the meal, I ordered the Atlantic salmon, greens, and crab fried rice. There was a slight mix-up as I was served asparagus by mistake. For my drink, I had the non-alcoholic Strawberry Guava Refresher, and for dessert, I chose the bread pudding, which was delicious and earns an "A+." The interior is beautiful and great for photos, and there are both upstairs and downstairs patios. However, with the hookah and loud music, the venue feels more like a "kickback" or a pre-club spot. While the decor is lovely, the concept is a bit confusing for a dining experience, and it is not a place I would visit often, if at all, again. For anyone planning to visit, I recommend using the valet service or parking in the far lot.

Good God Nadine's is closing at the end of May because their building is being sold. Nothing like a closing announcement to motivate me to go try a place. My friend made a reservation for inside dining, but it wasn't necessary. When we arrived, we were told we could sit wherever. It was pretty chilly inside so we opted for a booth on their covered patio. They also have an uncovered patio, however it was empty because it was raining. Parking is pretty adequate, especially for the Heights. Their lot is divided into three sections. The main entrance is through the uncovered patio. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was really nice and made good recommendations. The staff overall was super nice and very attentive. They did a great job of keeping water glasses full which I always appreciate. My friend and I both had the Paradise Smashburger and added Beef Tallow Fries. The burger had a double patty and it was so delicious! The patties had the crispy edges as a smashburger should and it was very filling and flavorful. The fries were good, especially with the aioli that we requested on the side. The food was amazing! The cocktails on the other hand fell a little short. I really wanted a Key Lime Pie Martini but they took it off the menu a few months ago so I ended up ordering The Houstonian. The Butterfly Pea infused gin caught my attention. What didn't catch my attention was the star anise. I don't really care for this spice and it had a prominent taste in the cocktail. I don't like to send drinks back so I kept it, but if I were to order it again, I would order it without the star anise because I enjoyed the other flavors in the drink. I also had the Pearadise with gin. I enjoyed the peach puree, but it was a bit tart. A little simple syrup would have helped to balance out the flavors. I'm glad that my friend and I were able to dine at GGN before they close. I'm hoping that they'll reopen in another location because I really enjoyed the food and the laid back vibe.

We decided to go here after catching a musical at The Hobby Center downtown. I didn't realize Good Good Nadine's was so close to me right behind Truth BBQ and across from HEB. It has plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the handicap spots seem to be behind the entrance than the front. The entrance is through the outdoor and covered patio. I made reservations just in case for indoor dining since it was raining, but when we got there, the inside was freezing since we were wet. We didn't know that there was a large covered patio. Most people sat in that area, so we sat in a side booth there instead. It was comfy like patio cushions. We opted for that instead of the iron seats. Service was great. We ordered the Paradise smashburgers (mine without shredded lettuce) and added the hand cut beef tallow fries ($19). I asked for the aioli on the side, as well. I thought the burger was great. The meat had great flavor and was juicy. I liked the pickles. Compared to other photos I've seen where it was too much bread, my burger had a great bun to meat ratio. I added some ketchup and the aioli. The fries were great, but I wish I didn't get the tiny or small bits of fries compared to my friend's full cut fries. They had two non-alcoholic drink options, and I tried them both. The strawberry refresher was made with Seedlip, housemade strawberry syrup, lime, and soda. I preferred this one over the Palm Springs one because it had better flavor. The Palm Springs has coconut water, cane syrup, pineapple, soda, and toasted coconut. It wasn't what I expected it to taste. It was bland and was mostly coconut water and soda. It lacked the pineapple flavor to add sweet and tart notes. It wasn't sweet at all and also didn't have toasted coconut on top. It had a tiny snippet of maybe the end of a pineapple leaf that was browning? Not good. I took it off. Sad to see this place go. It is pretty nice inside and out. I enjoyed the smashburger compared to Burger Bodega down the street. The NA drinks could use some more love. I wish I would've tried the bread pudding! Totally forgot and was also full.

I also heard there is a sexy couples thing that happens upstairs. Didnt have a significant other, so I have to take everyone's word for it lol. The place is located in a mall area with no signage. Very dim place which is right up my alley. Bartender seemed like a very capable guy, so I went with a oaxacan old fashioned (mezcal based) and it was decent. The downstairs bar area is nice and there is also comfy seating available nearby kinda in the cut. I definitely plan on coming back to Marfreless on a another visit

Replace these chairs or at least buy some chairs covers. It looks gross. I can't imagine the material can be properly sanitized.

Bar Buena was a surprise find after we participated in a cooking class at Sur La Table across the…read morestreet. After the byob cooking experience, we figured "why not!?" So we walked on over to this little speakeasy and were immediately greeted by the bouncer. On a Thursday night, it was quite crowded, but were able to find the last remaining seats at the bar. We were seated at the left end of the bar, which was nice because we had our own little "nook" away from the rest of the bar. Adjacent to us was the server station - the one server tending to the tables, Marilyn, frequently came by and we immediately befriended her. She gave us excellent recommendations and provided her opinion on several drinks. Robin was the bartender who took care of us throughout the night. She was super friendly from the moment we sat down and gave us stellar recommendations on food and drinks. She was happy to tweak a couple of their seasonal drinks to our liking, and even offered to mix other drinks that weren't on the menu. Fantastic service from Robin throughout the night. I started out with Tommy's Margarita - this was just their take on a classic margarita, nothing super special. I then ordered the Oaxacan Old Fashioned - think of an old fashioned made with tequila and mezcal in lieu of bourbon. I was a bit cautious about this one since I am not a fan of mezcal, however the smoky flavor was not very apparent in this one, which was a huge plus! I also got the Ardilla - very unique drink made with mexican corn whiskey, cocoa nibs, sherry, and a milk punch. I award this drink for most unique I've had in a while, definitely give it a try if you're up for something new. To finish, I had the Cariña - their take on an espresso martini made with reposado tequila. I really liked this espresso martini - it was a great way to finish out the night and I left feeling inspired to make my espresso martinis at home using tequila now! With the little room we had left in our stomachs, we tried the Pato Tinga Memela, which was duck leg (no bone) with beans and onions and cilantro atop a memela. I haven't had memela specifically per se, but consider me a fan. It is basically a mini "cake" of masa that is pan fried to a slight crispiness. An Oaxacan speciality, where else can I find these in Houston!? We also tried the Guacamole y Tostadas. The guacamole was unique in the sense that it was Oaxacan style, so contains pepitas, pickled onions, and queso fresco. The tostadas were super crispy and reminded me of how they serve guacamole in Mexico (rather than with chips/totopos). Fun fact is that this bar is owned by Goode Company. Next door to this is Goode Co. Cantina, so it's nice that they created an adjoining restaurant + speakeasy concept within the same strip. At one point in our visit, Levi Goode was standing next to us. We didn't know until after he left and Marilyn informed us, that that was THE man. Just doing a casual check-in of his bar. We really had a good experience at Bar Buena and look forward to returning. The food menu has quite a few offerings I wanted to try had I not come from a cooking class. We were also told that the seasonal drink menu was set to change shortly after our visit, so I look forward to trying these drinks!

The food here is amazing and wonderful. Small plates like tapas style. Trust me you will not be disappointed. All my friends who love to eat and a mix of different nationalities were amazed and impressed how good the food was in this bar. I hate giving this little gem away but it is worth it. I will definitely be back for more. We were having such a good time that I forgot to take pictures. Get ready for flavor town.
