Shortly after the referral, CHOA contacted me to schedule our appointment and made it an incredibly smooth process. Although they have multiple locations, the next appointment wasn't available until 3 weeks later - yikes! But that's how healthcare goes so we took what we could and the young lady I spoke to told me that they would call me if anything sooner opened up. Even though nothing opened up, I appreciated that consideration so much! When we arrived, I did not expect it to be so beautiful! It was so bright, open and colorful inside, truly pleasing to the eyes of adults and children alike. I was really blown away by it all. There's also a bunch of paid parking that's available so you're not scrambling to find somewhere to park when going into important appointments. (I wish it were free parking though!) There are several floors catering to the different specializations and wow, this is really an incredible place that tends to pediatric needs of all kinds. On our way out I even saw that there was a small cafeteria in the lobby, perfect for guardians and kids who may have had long appointments. (Or those just wanting a snack?) The team here is really wonderful, from the front desk to the doctors and nurses. From check-in to check-out, any questions or concerns that we had were addressed with such patience. Our appointment with Dr. Raj was incredibly smooth and he was really helpful. We had an issue filling a prescription for our son so I called and the ladies upfront worked to get me the answers I needed. It's never fun to go to the doctor's office, but it's nice to find one that makes the experience smoother. Will definitely continue making any necessary appointments at CHOA!

The space is so inviting, bright, and colorful and it's easy to forget that you're there for a doctors visit. Each area of specialty is color coded and the staff do a wonderful job of making you feel welcomed and help you understand where you need to go to check in and wait for your appointment. The triage nurse who took his vitals was hilarious and made us all feel at ease. Once we got to the exam room I realized how much I liked the setup in that it wasn't just a drab, boring space. There were floor to ceiling windows which kept my son occupied because he was able to take in the sights and sounds of 85. My son was referred to the Center for Advanced Pediatrics and we saw Dr. U who was absolutely the sweetest and gentlest. She made my son, along with us, feel so comfortable during the visit and truly listened to what we had to say. Bedside manner was exceptional and I appreciated how she took the time to explain what our next steps should be and made sure that we understood what transpires during the visit and asked if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend coming here because your child will be treated with care and compassion. CHOA continues to be top notch!

When I was asked which doctor I wanted my fetus to see once she sprung forth, I said whichever one. Thank you to the receptionist who picked Dr. Doyle. She is a vegetarian doctor and fully understands my decision to raise Rowan vegan, which is an absolute blessing. How I lucked out and managed to find a vegetarian doctor I will never know. Appointments are always quick, we never wait around more than a few minutes, and for things like a bad rash, they will allow you to email in a picture instead of making you come in. She was able to diagnose a rash and suggest an OTC medicine to make it clear up quickly. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, parking is aplenty, the office is clean and new, and I couldn't be happier to be a client.

They only allow children who follow the exact guidance per the CDC timeline and recommended vaccines. We are interested in vaccinating our child but at a later date which allows for lesser doses. Unfortunately we were told they couldn't accommodate that request and they do require the schedule to be followed. The reason they shared was for the sake of other children in the waiting room. We were later told that they are incentivized for having 100% of their patients vaccinated (I didn't fact check this but it would make sense why they are so strict on timeline). Again, we really liked the doctors but it's unfortunate that parents don't feel they can have a say in their child's care and timeline.

I looked online on both Yelp and the clinic website and this location is listed as open until 9pm and available for walkins. It was 7 pm when I looked this up, so I felt I had plenty of time and wasn't going to be one of those butthole customers that show up 5 minutes before closing. We drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to see a tiny piece of paper on the door saying "we are closed" another saying "X-ray broken" and another saying "at full capacity" (even though they were closed and there wasn't a car in sight.) It's 2023. Update your website with your hours. There's even an option to indicate it's temporary so patients don't get confused. Don't put "accepts walk ins" in your business plan if you can't take new customers - as indicated by one of many pieces of paper on your glass door. While this thankfully was not an emergency, I indicate that it's 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to illustrate how frustrating it is to drive 40 minutes round trip for nothing. When an up to date online presence would tell any stressed, overwhelmed parent they should just head straight to the er and that 40 minutes could be put toward the long er wait times. I finish this post with a question. If this office can not figure out something as simple as the internet, are they really reliable enough to help you in an urgent situation with your children?

I refuse to force food or encourage any kind of body shame. My child eats well, and is naturally petite, as is my whole family. Our very first visit was on a Tuesday, mid-morning, which might a busy time as the parking lot fills up quickly. We saw our pediatrician who asked us several questions about our newborn since leaving the hospital and demonstrated empathy and care for our little one. They checked height, weight, newborn papers, and baby's eyes. Baby girl received her first vaccine shot here and it was relatively painless that the nurse soothed baby. The facility was clean, staff was professional, and specialists were respectful in answering any questions for this new parent. There is a patient portal and the facility does text message reminders. The facility is in a medical building and parking is not free, but for about an hour appointment it's $5. You can print a receipt before the gate falls down is you need it for reimbursement.

Our appointment was at 9am and we were walking out by 945am. From our registration to final instructions from Dr. Harley the appointment was smooth, informative and best in class service. Everyone we came in contact with welcomed us as new patients and expressed genuine appreciation that we'd chosen their office. Dr. Harley is exceptional. She came in shook our hands and introduced herself. I appreciated how she brought our son (who's 14) into the conversation and valued his thoughts on his visit. That really meant a lot. She explained everything in a way that we both could understand. Even though the office is about a 30 minutes drive for us, it was worth it! Looks like we've found a new pediatrician! KUDOS to the front office staff, the medical assitant who was super sweet and of course Dr. Harley.
