From my experience, this company has a serious problem with accountability and communication. There is a huge difference between what a company says about supporting its employees and how employees can actually feel once they speak up about problems. I personally experienced situations that made me uncomfortable, and when I brought my concerns forward through the appropriate channels, I expected professionalism and support. Instead, I felt isolated, treated differently, and made to feel like I was the problem for saying something. The workplace politics are exhausting. Information travels, people talk, and somehow the person who raises a concern can end up being treated like the source of the problem instead of the concern being addressed. Management needs to take a serious look at how employee complaints are handled. Employees should not feel like speaking up will make their work environment worse. Scheduling and communication were another issue. There were situations where I felt decisions affecting me were made without proper communication or consideration, leaving me confused about expectations and where I stood. And if you are someone who values a healthy work environment, clear communication, and feeling respected by leadership, pay very close attention during your interview. Ask what happens when an employee reports a concern. Ask how conflicts are investigated. Ask how employees are protected from being treated differently afterward. The clinical experience can be valuable, but no job is worth constantly questioning whether speaking honestly will come back to bite you. I'm choosing to remain anonymous because I have seen firsthand how uncomfortable things can become when employees speak openly. Pros: You can gain experience and learn valuable clinical skills. Cons: Workplace politics, inconsistent communication, questionable handling of employee concerns, and an environment where speaking up can leave you feeling like the problem. Would I work here again? Absolutely not. Prospective employees: do your homework, ask questions, and talk to former employees before accepting an offer.

We never met. His task was to evaluate the records submitted by my board-certified treating physicians -- all of whom have personally examined me and affirmed that I am stable, non-progressive, and functionally safe to fly. Some background: I'm a rated pilot with some mild loss of peripheral vision that never affected me in any portion of my accumen as a pilot, let alone any facet of my day-to-day living. To his credit, Dr. Kozarsky, in his evaluation of my medical file, acknowledged "mitigation factors (of any risk) could include": * Developmental adaptation to the defect (which I've done). * Saccadic eye movement (which I engage in, like everyone else). * Rapid and efficient neurological processing (which I've demonstrated). * Extensive flight experience (which I have). Despite listing these facts, he still recommended denial of my medical certificate. What's troubling is that his rationale included the statement: "I ... feel." That kind of subjectivity has no place in a federal medical determination that impacts someone's career. FAA policy -- and basic medical ethics -- require decisions to be grounded in science, not impressions. Georgia Composite Medical Board Rule 360-3-.02 (Unprofessional Conduct) includes: §14: Failing to use appropriate diagnostic methods. §18: Conduct below minimal professional standards. §19: Providing false or misleading expert statements. I'm not here to attack Dr. Kozarsky. But this review stands as a warning -- and a call for reflection. FAA consultants hold extraordinary influence over people's lives. That power must be used with care, humility, and adherence to evidence. His comment, "Can any pilot fly safely with what is essentially a missing quadrant of binocular vision?" disregards all context. Let's see -- 200 hours of flight time, 500 safe takeoffs and landings, passing my checkride on the first attempt, and instructors urging me to get back in the air... I'd say that answers itself. (And just to clarify, I'm missing two quadrants -- not one.) While his other online reviews may be glowing, that doesn't excuse what happened here. If his decision was influenced by broader FAA retaliation due to my protected grievances, that would only deepen the concern. There's "no such things as halfway crooks," as the saying goes -- and there's no such thing as halfway accountability in medicine. Dr. Kozarsky, I invite your response.

Call Korzarski again, told at address, and that we could not find office. Again only a text message stating he was "at airport". E X P E R I E N C E I have extension vision history and…read morehave considered lasik for a long time. I wore Ortho-K (hard corrective contacts) when I was 6 years old until 12 years old. Then have been wearing soft contacts (I hate glasses- bouncing around my face making me motion sick, and the side view limitations/distortion) for loong time after that. My vision is -650/-675. I did extensive research on which doc and company to go with. I've had several close friends come to this location and have a wonderful experience. The pre-procedure doc (Indian lady) said that they treated a woman of -1200 (my mind literally doesn't understand what that means bc without glasses, I could barely read a foot in front of me and anything more than a foot, were shapes and colors to me). This place, is the bombdiggity.com (does that expose my age lol). ***Initial Consultation: You'll go in for a consultation. Do not be alarmed at the sheer number of people there. The turnover is quick! I went in at 8am, done by 930am. They even offered same day procedure (but due to personal obligations, it wasn't a viable option for me. So I opted to do it 3 weeks later). ***Day Of: Overview: Check in. Sign papers (they really CYA bc they make you sign multiple paragraphs and parts of the paragraphs multiple times to make sure you understand lmao). Pay. (GO PEE NOW). You'll meet Dr Smith for a last assessment. Then procedure. Then Head home! I arrived at 7:55am for my 8am scheduled time and I was done by 10am. *The Procedure: From the moment you are called in, to the moment you walk out, it's a 15 min situation. You'll put your stuff down. (feel free to throw your glasses out the metaphorical window). You'll put on a bonnet. The staff will have you lay down on the OR table (in between two machines). It's a little chilly in the room (we love that. Less bacterial growth) and there's cool funky classic music on (makes you conflicted because i wanna dance but not really because I was nervous for the procedure loll it was calming/uplifting). They put some guaze on either side of your eyes then they'll flood your eyes several times with the numbing drops (It's really soothing). The doc comes in, floods your eyes again. Slides you under machine to the right, puts these clamps under your eyelid to keep your eyelids open (doesn't hurt I promise; you just see him doing stuff but no pain). Then tells you to look at the green light, then he puts this plastic looking circular thing (I bet you love my very proper official names) and presses down on your eyeball (all you feel is pressure. Again, no pain. My vision went black and I could see spots of light). Then he slides you over to the machine on the left and that's where the magic happens. Theres no light or laser to look at; so just look somewhere in the middle. (I just saw a bright white screen with white lights in a circle. He counts down "5 seconds'.."3 seconds"..."Done!" which is so reassuring). Your first eye is done. (Literally it's done before you know it). Repeat second eye. Then you're told to sit up. (I thought I f-ed it up bc I didn't know where to look for the second machine, BUT when I sat up, it was so hazy BUT I could already see better than without my glasses T__T it was. Amazing.) Walk over to the third part (separate machine), where he floods your eyes with more numbing drops and uses forcep like tools to go fishing around on your eyeballs (again, doesn't hurt. It's just weird lmao I'm assuming he's laying the corneal flap down properly). You look at a green dot. As he's moving the (I'm assuming) flap around, this large fuzzy red circular shape appears. You hear clicking and smell something burning. A few seconds and it's done. Repeat second eye. I literally gushed at the doc and the two staff members and thanked them (I was still stunned from the procedure tho) and walked out. YOU'RE DONE. (I could read some text on my phone!) Get home safely! *Post procedure: When i got home, I took the HydroEye vitamins, taped the two clear eye covers to my face, and then napped. Stay in a dark room and listen to podcasts/make phone calls :) TIP: Make alarms for every hour. | I did EVEN hour for the Blue cap (Antibiotic/Steroid) drops and ODD hour for the Clear cap (Optase- hydrating dry eye) drops. this way your eyes are hydrated! My eyes hurt. It felt like I was wearing contacts that had dirty particles on the edges. It felt like I had sand pebbles on my eyeballs (these are dry spots!!). My eyes wouldn't stop tearing up. Keep flooding your eyes with the hydrating eyedrops! Normal! TIP: Cover your eyes at all times. | If you're not wearing the clear eye covers, make sure you're wearing the sunglasses (even when indoors!). Do not risk forgetting and then rubbing your eyes! OMG i have no more space to type but basically staff was amazing and kind, experience was perfect. ample parking. refer to my google review. I'm SO THANKFUL!

The initial assessment was very nice, there were only a few people there (went to Dunwoody location), and the doctor that did the assessment was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful at explaining everything. I had to go to the Galleria location because they had the more specialized laser for my horrible prescription. I wasn't really nervous, but excited to finally have the procedure. I was a bit put off at first (not to the point I'd reconsider) by the sheer amount of people there for Lasik-- and ONE doctor. It's definitely a mill. They must make a fortune. Second, I was put off by the doctor. He looked really rough-- like a homicide detective or military captain. Like he's been beat up a lot and doesn't shy away from a good fist fight (LOL). He smiled a lot, to make me feel more comfortable, but he didn't really try to answer my questions and seemed annoyed (some of the things he said to expect were NOT what the doctor who did the assessment said-- he didn't have any interest in hearing it). All said, he did know how to use the laser and corrected my vision just fine. The surgeon is just one of many of the cogs in the wheel, there is no patient-doctor relationship, and they make it very impersonal and sterile to manage expectations (IMO).
