I caught myself going down that road today, but was about ready to order everything on the menu. The place is designed incredibly well. Even though you are in the middle of Guadalajara, you would think that you were in the middle of some rural beach community in Baja or Oaxaca or something. A fishing village that is... To start off you have to get the mango/maracuya agua fresca. The tacos are crispy fried with 3 or 4 choices of what is on the inside, and 5 or 6 choices of what is on top. I am a sucker for beans so I ordered 3 tacos with beans on the inside, and smoked marlin on the top. I followed it up with another taco dorado (crispy fried taco shell) with beans on the inside and fish ceviche on the outside. The fish is excellent, the tacos are excellent and the sauces are excellent. 5 stars across the board. They have some great popsicles for desert. I love the mandarina one.

I especially loved our mojitos which had a ton of fresh fruit garnishes and ingredients. The octopus and fried chicharron taco was probably my favorite taco ever. So tasty, handmade blue corn tortilla and the chicharrones added pops of fat. The tuna sashimi dish was also excellent. I got the aguachiles tostad which was sizable and fresh though my mouth was on fire by the end. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible. The system is a little bit chaotic (you wait in a line to order, then bring…read moreyour receipt and wait in another line to receive your food) but they're quick with turning orders around. The menu is large and admittedly a little overwhelming. I ordered one of the special tacos, a standard fish taco, a tostada de pescado, and a jericalla for dessert. It was way too much food lol. In hindsight I would have done one taco + ceviche. Everything was fabulous and I loved the salsa bar with sooo many options, veg, etc. The environment is very lively and there was a band playing music. Plenty of seating so while busy, you won't have trouble finding a spot. Will absolutely be back!

This place has a cool and festive atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the crowds were plentiful. The prices were very reasonable and a good lunch option. We sat outside and ordered limeades, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and a mixed seafood tostadas. The tacos and tostado was "stuffed" with ingredients. The condiment bar had salsas, dressings, cucumbers, and carrot slaw. They don't skimp on the fillings. The limeade was fresh and a perfect sweet quencher for a warm day. The shrimp taco was good and warm. The fish barely fit in the tortilla. The show stealer was the mixed tostado. The seafood was fresh, cold, and very tasty. This is a great stop for quick and flavorful tacos. Fish Tacos of LA Paz was packed on a Thursday afternoon and now I know why. My only pause was that Fish Taco is about the proteins and not condiments.

The side of refrito beans was delightfully tasty. Don't expect traditional Mexican decor as this place is more avant-garde and seems to draw young professionals. Service was excellent and we loved the basket of bite-sized Mexican sweet bread brought to us upon arrival.
