The nurse was kind and took my vitals quite quickly after unscheduled arrival. The doctor and I got off on a difficult foot as I found her a bit abrasive and responded in kind. I think the reason to desire a good bedside manner is that it ensures that the patient communicates their situation as accurately as possible. Anyways, we got back on track, and she was GREAT. Super clear, super professional! She dyed my eye and used a black light to inspect for abrasion and foreign bodies, and gave very clear guidance on how to use prescribed ocular antibiotics and related eye care (contacts) during the treatment period. She also suggested proper next steps (see your eye doctor) in case the condition stayed the same or got worse. One weird thing about social media reviews: they seem so often to be so negative or so positive. I think that they should be more honest, compassionate and thoughtful. This team was great, and working on New Years' Day no less. Thank you! I will come back for sure. Zac

Went to MedExpress in Brookhaven, PA last week with my 5 year old grandson. It was 7:40 pm when we…read morearrived and the place was open til 8 pm. The receptionist greeted us in the waiting room because there were no other patients there. I stated that my grandson needed to be checked and possibly get something to settle his stomach. I told her that the purpura (red dots) on his face was from forcefully vomiting and that he had specks of blood in the stomach bile that he was throwing up. The receptionist said that she had to ask the doctor if he was willing to check my grandson. I asked why she had to check with him since we were the only patients and the office didn't close for another 20 minutes. I could see the male doctor in the back sitting at a computer. The receptionist came back to us a few minutes later and stated that the doctor refused to see my grandson and that there was another Urgent care in Springfield about 20 mins away that I could take him to. Since they weren't scheduled to close for another 20 mins I asked why the doctor refused to see him and her reply was that the doctor said he reached his quota for the day and therefore didn't have to see him. I told her to tell the doctor that I was not happy with his refusal and that I was going to report him. This occurred on Tuesday 3/18/25 at 7:40 pm. Because of this doctor's refusal to treat my poor. Sick little boy who just turned 5 yrs old had to sit in the hospital ER for almost 5 hrs. Why do places like your company exist other than to make the almighty dollar? I mentioned to my friends and neighbors in our large development down the street from your office and to the medical people that i work with (fyi- i have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years) and several have mentioned negative stories from their families and friends that have gone there. I will be calling the AMA and the State Licensing board this week to report this doctor for unethical practice. What happened to common decency especially with a child. I have no history with this facility, yet I will because of their patience and professionalism. There may have been an issue with enunciation of certain English words, but I've found out I've used words incorrectly and I speak English as a 1st and only language. It's kind of funny to me how some people become doctors when they walk into a facility. The place appeared clean, although I think the cleaning crew could do better. Not sure how often the cleaning crew visits the facility, but they really should leave stainless steel products without residue. The Nurse Practitioner asked all the relevant questions I've been asked in the past and was courteous. They were courteous to one another as well. Dr. Lin Liu, MD examined me and filled my request for two prescriptions and went out of her way to give me two discount cards for those without insurance. Heads up, the prescription at CVS for me would have been $72.00 and at Rite Aid $22.00 without coupons.

Dear Urgent Care Manager,…read more I am writing to make you aware of a very uncomfortable experience I had at your urgent care location on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM. When I arrived, there was a young woman working at the front desk whose name I unfortunately did not get. While patients were sitting in the waiting area, she was speaking very loudly and using profanity while talking about other employees. She repeatedly made comments about being from Chester, not wanting to be there, and not liking the people she worked with. Her language and behavior were loud enough for patients in the waiting room to hear. Several of us became visibly uncomfortable. We came to urgent care because we were sick and needed medical attention, not to be placed in the middle of workplace conflict. At one point, I politely told her, "Young lady, you know we can hear you over here." Her response to me was essentially that I could mind my business, that she could say whatever she wanted, and that the conversation was between them. After that interaction, I became so uncomfortable that I decided to leave without being seen. Other people in the waiting area were uncomfortable as well. I did call the Call Center afterward to report what happened, but it appears that my complaint may not have reached the manager. That is why I wanted to address it again personally. I want to make something very clear: I truly love coming to this urgent care. This place has always made me feel welcome and cared for. I have even said that I am treated better here than I sometimes feel I am treated at my regular doctor's office. That is why this particular experience bothered me so much--it was completely different from the treatment I normally receive here. I returned today, Thursday, September 24, and the difference is remarkable. The staff members are pleasant, professional, happy to assist patients, and seem to genuinely want to do their jobs. This is the environment I have always known and appreciated here. I respectfully ask that management review what occurred on September 19, including speaking with the employees who were working and, if available, reviewing any appropriate records or footage from around 2:00 PM. I also ask that my concerns about this employee's conduct toward patients and coworkers be taken seriously. I am not writing this because I dislike your urgent care. I am writing because I value this place and do not want one person's behavior to make patients feel uncomfortable or cause them to leave without receiving the medical care they came for. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns and for continuing to provide the welcoming and respectful care that I have come to expect from your staff. Sincerely, Beverly Reddick
