Surveyed four ironworks contractors identified by AI. Sent description of problem and photos of damaged railings to these contractors. Three responded. One offered "ballpark price" that might change after work began. Only Charlie of CJ Steel and Ironworks came to inspect the problem and explain how the railings would be fixed. He shared his experience with similar problems. He gave me a quote on the spot, which I accepted. It was 30% less than the "ballpark price" offer. His team came a few weeks later to perform the work. They were very professional and clearly knew what they were doing. Charlie also came to supervise the progress. They performed a fabulous job. The railings looked like they had been installed for the first time. They were solid, and the welding was seamless. I highly recommend CJ Steel and Ironworks.
