Addison Grove is one of those wedding venues that makes you walk in and immediately think, *"Yep,…read morethis is it."* The Hill Country views are absolutely stunning--like, no filter needed, your photographer will be thrilled kind of stunning. Sunset here deserves its own round of applause. The space itself is gorgeous without trying too hard: modern, stylish, and surrounded by nature so your guests can sip cocktails while pretending they're in a lifestyle magazine. Whether you're saying "I do" or tearing up the dance floor later, every corner of Addison Grove just works. And let's talk about the staff--absolute pros. These people run weddings like a well-rehearsed Broadway show, but with way less drama. They're friendly, organized, and somehow manage to make everything look effortless while keeping couples calm and happy (a true superpower). Bottom line: Addison Grove delivers incredible views, top-notch service, and a wedding day that feels smooth, fun, and unforgettable. If you want a venue that's beautiful *and* won't make you lose your sanity, this place is a winner.

There was also seating for probably 35 people inside and a massive private rooftop deck with plenty of seating and ambient lighting. Perfection! Working with Brent from start to end was so easy that I thought I had to be missing something. Turns out I was not missing anything; he just never over complicated it! Thank you, Brent! We were allowed access all day but because the aesthetic of the place was perfect for our theme, we didn't need it until about 2 hours before go time. There's a full kitchen and an ice machine so that added to the ease. You can provide your own food and booze, hire a caterer, or utilize the offerings at Sholz Garten (attached). I had a friend do my food, brought my own booze, and hired the other bowling alley operator to bartend (he is TABC certified). In addition to the bartender, I also had to pay for a bowling alley operator (Brent), which makes a lot of sense. The machines are relics and need some professional tending to. That being said, we had zero hold ups to our throwing rocks! We even got a little tour of how these ancient machines work :) Upon the completion of my party, both the bartender and operator hopped to helping us clean. They handled trash and basically all cleaning. We just had to get our stuff out of there. So easy! I'm now searching for another reason to host something here. It's affordable, centrally located, unique, and EASY! Thanks Saengerrunde and Brent!

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin?…read more Reagan, the coordinator for this venue, rocks! I sent Reagan an email last year when I started looking at Austin venues to get married at. Lots of places where people could gather, be merry and have fun! This isn't really your typical wedding venue, but with so much history behind the place and many renovation projects undertaken, it's so charming that I can see why others have used this space!! I sent Reagan the date I wanted, she mentioned the Halle would be $2000 for Fridays and Saturdays. We wanted a Saturday so we paid for only that day. Reagan sent over the contract, we placed a credit card on file as our deposit to secure the date and all was swell!!! The week before our wedding event was to take place, we met up, handed Reagan the check, she went over details as to how to access the venue, was so chill that even though we did not have the space rented Friday, that we could have our stuff there to decorate the day before. I cannot tell you how many Austin venues I had to reach out to that were so pricy and had so many things adding up and it was just so refreshing to have her help us through this. We spent Friday decorating the hall, so many Christmas lights hung. I remember asking Reagan if we needed to bring our own command hooks but she was like we're totally covered on that. If you rent the Halle and also want to use Christmas lights, I'll let you know that she's totally serious. We didn't need a single hook that wasn't already in there. Hidden outlets everywhere everything was already good to go and in place. We had some ladders behind the stage that a maintenance guy fixing the bowling alley spilled the beans was hiding behind there as we brought our own ladder but it wasn't high enough for some of the ceiling areas. As a bride, I got ready behind the Halle Area and in the bowling alley. Even though we didn't pay for that area, Reagan, totally helped out in letting us get ready behind there to help make everything easier for things to come together so we could make our grand entrance through to walk to the stage through those doors. If you're choosing to use this venue, I can't highly recommend Reagan as she's also a mini event planner who's seen lots and can give tips, especially if you use the catering crew as Scholz Garten next door who knows the Halle just as well and makes your life a whole lot easier! We decorated, took the trash out, and left everything as we found it and it was all so easy! A bride on a budget, with friends and family to help set up and take down for a fun day together and we were all good to go! I highly recommend working with Reagan in using this wonderful Halle, so much history, beauty and Austiny enough! Love!! PS. You can BYOB! We had tons of alcohol at our wedding to make sure we'd have an open bar without breaking the bank partying and you do not need a TABC bartender to serve but we had one so we had someone professional making those fun drinks. No open flames, real candles, things that can burn the place down. For good reason, this place is old and we wanna keep it alive. We had sparklers we lit outside on the sidewalk and did our send-off, gorgeous and quiet on 4th of July evening. Perfection.

First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge that the venue is truly beautiful. It exceeded our…read moreexpectations in terms of its appearance and provided a stunning setting for our event. Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly overshadowed by the numerous restrictions and limitations that made planning and executing the event far more difficult than we had anticipated. We fully understand that every venue has rules and policies that must be respected. However, the limitations imposed were far more restrictive than expected and made it difficult for us to provide the experience we had envisioned for our guests. Throughout the planning process and during the event itself, it became clear that there were many operational restrictions that were not disclosed prior to signing the contract. These restrictions were only communicated after we had already made our deposits. While we understand the importance of venue policies, greater transparency from the beginning--or a more flexible approach--would have allowed us to make better-informed decisions and avoid unnecessary stress. We expected to work with a team that would collaborate with us to ensure the event ran smoothly. Instead, we were consistently met with numerous restrictions that significantly limited our ability to deliver the event we had planned. Some of the restrictions we encountered included the prohibition of indoor cold sparklers, dry ice effects, and even a custom dance floor decal in the center of the dance floor. We were also not permitted to install any decorations on the ceiling or walls. Additionally, we were required to keep the music at a very low volume. We were specifically told that if the volume was increased, the event would be stopped. This warning was delivered by the venue administrator who was overseeing the event. Unfortunately, the administrator's attitude throughout the event was disappointing. She was uncooperative, appeared visibly annoyed at all times, and interacted with us in a manner that made us feel as though she was doing us a favor by allowing us to use the venue, rather than recognizing that we had paid a significant amount to rent the facility. Her demeanor was unprofessional and detracted from what should have been a joyful and memorable celebration.

I had a dozen bridesmaids, and we were very comfortable getting ready in the spacious bridal suite. We loved having a separate groom's cabin for the guys. It was very easy to work with the Arlo staff; I mainly worked with Jeannie and Melonie, but everyone I communicated with was very professional. Our final walkthrough meeting went very smoothly. I would recommend this venue to all couples getting married in Austin.

Unfortunately, the management and operations make the experience frustrating. Communication is excellent before booking, but after payment, the tone shifts to constant nickel-and-diming. A $500/$600 per hour (if rented hourly) is charged even when only one staff member is on-site, doing little more than being present. The drinks package, presented as mandatory, offered low-quality options by default, and getting better selections approved became unnecessarily difficult. Requests for bar supply details were met with incomplete information and a dismissive attitude. The event director is essentially unreachable, despite having a listed phone number. On one occasion, after staff connected me to her, I overheard saying she didn't want to speak with me since she did not know she was on speaker phone. This after I had spent $7,000 on the venue. Staff have openly said that management prioritizes revenue over guest experience due to financial struggles and potential closure. The space itself was not properly cleaned before my event. Plants were dying, trash was outside (which I had to pick up myself), and overall upkeep felt neglected. The initial walk-through was warm and welcoming, but that hospitality disappeared once the contract was signed. In short: beautiful venue, poor management practices, rude and disrespectful management. I'd consider recommending or returning ONLY if there were a change in leadership and a genuine focus on customer experience and overall upkeep.

The venue itself was well kept and clean and definitely a cute place for events, and of course weddings. Although I wasn't directly involved, I was told that quite a few snags took place during the wedding/day of which made things difficult for the wedding party and bride. But at face value, the venue provided a fairytale experience (with a few farm animals to boot!) The area we were in was far more equipped for smaller parties rather than a larger shindig - small dance floor and bar, and from what I saw only one restroom each for men and women. Worked out just fine for the wedding I attended, but something to keep in mind if your group is larger! Had no issues getting an uber either to or back which is a plus, but it does appear due to multiple people making the mistake as well as posted signs on a nearby property that many people get lost on the way!

My daughter asked for a Texas-themed fest, complete with taco truck, and as soon as I saw the RRR I knew it was our venue for the event. It has a real Texas/Austin vibe...fit for a formal occasion, but more ranch/farm and casual than not. The venue has it all -- a big barn-like area for large group gathering and table seating, an outdoor-covered bar, a cool dance floor in the heart of the space, a ceremony-friendly outdoor space under a big tree with pews, and a backyard space with a firepit area and access to farm animals. Our small gathering under-utilized all that the venue had to offer. The ability to host an event in inclement weather (the food and bar areas are open-aired but under ample roofing) was a big plus for me in picking the place. Morgan and Sandy were super in helping answer questions and facilitate the many visits we made for our event planning. Very quick to respond to emails and to schedule appointments. If I have occasion for another event, I will definitely be a repeat customer.
