Booking a venue tour will be the best thing you do, and it will be unforgettable!! For my husband and me, it was love at first sight. The second the Villa came into view as we drove through the Hill Country, we knew it was the one. Their open houses are also a wonderful opportunity to experience the venue in all its glory and to meet their wonderful team and vendors. The Villa is family-owned and operated by an incredibly kind family, The Mauldings. Amy, the owner, has excellent communication, and her son Andy is so personable. You can trust them to ensure that your wedding day is as seamless as possible, and their recommended vendors are amazing!! We highly recommend Villa Antonia to anyone looking for a venue that combines breathtaking beauty with exceptional service! You and your guests will genuinely feel like you're in Tuscany in Texas!!

The nostalgic aesthetic, the multiple rooms and floors, the ballroom upstairs, the balconies, the view of the capitol building, and the twinkling lights on the oaks on the lawn made for a romantic and chic celebration that our friends and family still talk about! Caswell House and the team behind it (shoutout especially to Kelly Treybig) were a dream to work with. The rates are affordable, and the venue is very accommodating, even with our more DIY approach. If you're looking for an event venue in Austin, Caswell House is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Once we arrived, walked around, and talked to Julianna (wedding planning binder in hand) we just loved the place. It was our first stop and nothing beat it! Settling on a date, and understanding the plethora of rentals included (tables and chairs for 150+ guests) just made the decision that much easier! Juliana was so warm and kind, and worked seamlessly with our coordinator (Mockingbird Lane Events-truly another amazing wedding must-have!) When we requested an additional half-hour for our catering staff, the transaction was quick and reasonable. Getting married during a global pandemic is sure to cause some headaches, but there was never any issues with communication with Juliana and ensuring we moved forward. My father even contacted her over a year ahead of time to help with research for hotels since majority of our guests were from out of town. She provided a list and professional suggestions about what was worth our time and energy. The Allan House was absolutely perfect for our quiet, classic yet laid back style of wedding. This backdrop made all of our guests look even more stunning, and the tree lit up at night was gorgeous. Highly suggest The Allan House. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge that the venue is truly beautiful. It exceeded our…read moreexpectations in terms of its appearance and provided a stunning setting for our event. Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly overshadowed by the numerous restrictions and limitations that made planning and executing the event far more difficult than we had anticipated. We fully understand that every venue has rules and policies that must be respected. However, the limitations imposed were far more restrictive than expected and made it difficult for us to provide the experience we had envisioned for our guests. Throughout the planning process and during the event itself, it became clear that there were many operational restrictions that were not disclosed prior to signing the contract. These restrictions were only communicated after we had already made our deposits. While we understand the importance of venue policies, greater transparency from the beginning--or a more flexible approach--would have allowed us to make better-informed decisions and avoid unnecessary stress. We expected to work with a team that would collaborate with us to ensure the event ran smoothly. Instead, we were consistently met with numerous restrictions that significantly limited our ability to deliver the event we had planned. Some of the restrictions we encountered included the prohibition of indoor cold sparklers, dry ice effects, and even a custom dance floor decal in the center of the dance floor. We were also not permitted to install any decorations on the ceiling or walls. Additionally, we were required to keep the music at a very low volume. We were specifically told that if the volume was increased, the event would be stopped. This warning was delivered by the venue administrator who was overseeing the event. Unfortunately, the administrator's attitude throughout the event was disappointing. She was uncooperative, appeared visibly annoyed at all times, and interacted with us in a manner that made us feel as though she was doing us a favor by allowing us to use the venue, rather than recognizing that we had paid a significant amount to rent the facility. Her demeanor was unprofessional and detracted from what should have been a joyful and memorable celebration.

I had a dozen bridesmaids, and we were very comfortable getting ready in the spacious bridal suite. We loved having a separate groom's cabin for the guys. They keep the grounds maintained, and the inside very clean. There are so many perfect photo opportunities including the fireplace and lawn where we had cocktail hour and the grand staircase outside. It was very easy to work with the Arlo staff; I mainly worked with Jeannie and Melonie, but everyone I communicated with was very professional. Our final walkthrough meeting went very smoothly. I would recommend this venue to all couples getting married in Austin.

After the tour, I just knew that it was where my husband and I had to get married! Leading up to the wedding day, the team at Woodbine was very responsive and easy to work with when I had any questions. The getting ready space is absolutely stunning and it's nice to have a very clear separation of the bride and groom getting ready spaces so we didn't have any accidental run ins with eachother during the day. I loved being able to have distinct areas for each part of our wedding, with the ceremony being held on the front lawn, cocktail hour inside the mansion (although it ended up being a beautiful day outside so our guests opted to be outside), and then the beautiful clear top tent for our reception. We had a blue and white theme to our wedding, which the decor in the mansion perfectly complemented. The tables and chairs that woodbine has included are also great, there was no need to rent additional ones.
