First, this is my experience and may not reflect others. Please do not decide on renting at Vue based off my review. This is an honest review from my perspective only. It's been bit of a roller coaster ride with good elements and bad elements. First, my move in was pretty horrible. The apartment was not ready. Bugs all over the floor AC did not work and the second day of move in I had a flood inside the apartment. It was rough and clearly not ready for new tenants. It was clear no one quality checked the unit prior to move in. One of the amenities is a gate sticker that automatically opens the gate. Unfortunately, they did not have this when I moved in. I was told that once they arrive I would be emailed. Four months later still do not have one. Other residents say they hardly work anyway so I did not press this to avoid aggravation. I also asked about a garage. I was told that there were none available (near my apartment). I was again told that I would be notified when one opens up. To my surprise, a new tenant just moved in and received the very garage I asked for. I received no notification that it was available. One of the struggles of this community is follow up. It just does not happen. My key fob does not work on any amenities just my front door. Which leads me to the next HUGE miss. The technology here is horrible. No exaggeration when I say the worst in any community I lived in. The internet is so bad. I had to buy a WiFi extender just to get my front door bell to work. The internet company came out to check things out. The guy who came out said that their service was bad and received multiple complaints. Even the property manger acknowledged that she received many complaints about the internet. I will not mention the company name but it's a company I have never heard of. If you work from home and rely on internet, just be aware, loss of internet happens frequently. The front door requires a key fob. If you live alone, you only get one. This is problematic if you need someone to access your home. This is the first community that I have lived at that only gives you one key. Let's talk maintenance. I have a few issues inside my apartment. I will say, all my issues were handled quickly and efficiently. On the flip side, the maintenance on the outside of the apartments is lacking any quality. There are many lights (mostly landscaping) that do not work or physically broken with exposed wires. There was a screen that was broken on my neighbors window since I moved on. I put in a work order to get it fixed. It was listed as complete. As of today, the screen is still broken. People use their patios as storage. With crates shelves and boxes. Just makes the place look trashy. Not what you expect for a Luxury community. There are other minor things but nothing that would add on the frustration already mentioned. The last thing that is note worthy in the "needs improvement" category is the dog park. It's a nice dog park but, you can hardly use it. It's consistently filled with dog poop that other people do not pick up. It would be nice to see some accountability but, sadly there is none. Now, there are some good things about Vue. The apartments are a good size. Updated appliances, tons and tons of storage. My apartment is spacious and very modern. If you need extra storage, there is extra storage on property for a fee. They also have garages, I'll leave it at that based on my experience. My building is pretty quiet and neighbors are pretty good. There are great amenities if you can access them. Gym is great, pool is nice and so many spaces you can use for parties and such. As far as the apartment itself, I think they are great. As far as technology, horrible. Quality control needs to get better as there are so many low hanging fruit items that simply do not get addressed. In conclusion, if a community is touting to be luxury, Vue has some work to do. Follow up just does not happen. Do I regret moving here, not really. I do love my apartment. Has my experience been the best, not by a long shot. If you are looking for a nice apartment, I would recommend Vue. If you are looking for "Luxury", this might be a miss. read more
