Great little mom and pop dry cleaning shop! I've been getting my clothes cleaned here for many years and I can say they do a terrific job! The couple who owns the shop are very nice and accommodating. They've helped me out many times when I was in a bind. The place is located near the intersection of Brookhurst St. & Margo Ln.,behind Sabrosada restaurant. I believe they do all their dry cleaning in house. I've had problems at other dry cleaners in the area, until I started bringing my clothes here. This place has been consistently good in their work. I highly recommend this place and their services. The gentleman at the store is not a nice person. He was bad mouth of customer. I supposed to pick up my clothes on Monday as said in the receipt. I dropped off 6 items at noon on Thursday. When I arrived around noon he kept searching and couldn't find my items. I told him I have a long dress but he kept going back and forth at the racks with short items. Finally he told me they are not ready until 5 pm. I asked him when it said Monday it should be ready in the morning. Instead of apologized to me and asked me nicely to return later, he went inside and saying bad things about me. After a while he got my items and kept mumbling that I am an uneasy customer. I don't recommend this business to anyone. Not a nice place to go. This is the first and is also the last time for me. read more

Despite what Yelp says, they are still open. I have come here several times to dry clean my suits and dress shirts. This is a very affordable and high quality dry cleaning place. They did a fantastic job with the cloths we dropped off. Had a company dinner on Friday , dropped off on Tuesday and it was ready Friday morning. Owner was very friendly and greeted me with a smile and some great small talk. The cloths look brand new as well, and it always feels good supporting a local mom an pop business. I am finally writing this review! This is the MOST AMAZING dry cleaners in the area, and I have been to most of them! I was getting so frustrated, some were so expensive, but did a good job, others were cost effective, but sucked. Then I found Vu Dry Cleaners, they are both cost effective and do a fantastic job! They do the dry cleaning on site, and until you lose a piece of clothing that you cared enough to take to the cleaners to begin with, you may not understand the value in Onsite cleaning! It seems to be a husband and wife, they are very nice. Standard cleaning time, tell them when you need them by. Each time I am surprised at the low cost and impressed with the end results! They are located behind Alertos and the sign on Brookhurst is wrong. Side Note: They only except cash! read more

I've been using this dry cleaner for a year now. They charge $2 per piece and they will repair/sew button, etc. for reasonable price. A few shirts came back with stains still noticeable and when I brought back, they re-cleaned at no charge. Clothes always smells fresh and clean - not like some places that don't change out the perc often. Super friendly husband and wife and they always take my large load out to my car. I've stumbled on this dry cleaner after the usual one I go to had closed down. This is a very cute mom and pop dry cleaners. The only people that works here are an old couple that do all the dry cleaning themselves. They do onsite dry cleaning and they do an excellent job. The price is VERY reasonable and they only accept cash! My experiences: I've been here twice The first time was to dry clean a full length dress I needed for a special occasion. The lady helped me out and inspects the piece before writing the pick up slip. I was charged $6 and I picked it up in two days. After looking at the dress I was so impressed by the their work compared to another dry cleaner I've gone to. Because of their impressive work during my first visit, I've come back. The gentleman helped me out this time. I brought 1 sweater, 5 skirts, and 1 dress. He charged me $18 for everything. I'm not very sure how much they charged for individual pieces. Dropped it off Monday and picked up Wednesday. So far so good. Note: The sign on the outside of the store just say CLEANERS, it doesn't say Vu Dry Cleaners. read more

I tried this dry cleaner based on a Yelp review and I am disappointed. They are pricey and they broke a button on my husband's suit jacket and just pinned it on and didn't repair it. BOO! They also are not electronic so if you lose your paper receipt, you may be out of luck getting your clothes back. I won't be going back. Cash only! read more

When I was married my ex would take our dry cleaning clothes here on a weekly basis. We spent about $200-$400/month on dry cleaning. After my divorce I took my clothes here separately. I noticed a peculiar pattern. All of my bills were rounded to the nearest 10s (e.g., $140, $180, $160, $190). After several months of this (at least 6), I finally asked them what do they charge per item. The owner/woman had a nervous twitchy look when I asked. When she gave me the bill it was not rounded to the nearest 10s. I never took my clothes back to them again for dry cleaning. read more
