I strongly advise against ordering from this place. The shipment timing is a nightmare, and the customer service is terrible. I placed my order on September 26th, but it wasn't shipped until Monday, October 7th. Despite reaching out to them multiple times, I was repeatedly told that the order would ship soon. When I could see that the shipping label had been created but the order had not been taken to the post office, I asked them to cancel my order. They then claimed that my order had already been sent and that the post office doesn't update the tracking until delivery. However, just five minutes after they sent that email, the tracking was updated to show that they had dropped off the order, only after I questioned the status. I needed the t-shirts by this week, which is why I placed my order in advance, and now I'm going to miss my deadline. Their dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior are extremely disappointing. If you decide to order from them, be sure to do so at least a month in advance, as they clearly do not prioritize customer service. read more

I cannot believe I drove almost an hour away, just to have the man behind the counter lie to me. First I called and emailed my image over for printing. No response. So when I arrived I asked for pricing and was directed to speak with the man outside. He started by saying they were booked all week, then I asked for rates so I could make a future purchase with his business. This man responded by saying, "The image you want us to print is against our beliefs. We don't print any vulgar or profane imagery here." Meanwhile it's my whole logo because I am a professional pole dancer! I have never been turned away from a business due to their belief. As a first timer at this tee shop I had a really bad experience from the minuet I e-mail the e-commerce rep to my visits into the shop. My order was not complete in a timely manner. Although I was offered a discount to keep my order and Sam tried to mend the situation kindly, I honestly was extremely dissatisfied with the inconsistency and lack of communication. I never had my print made, the emails between Rebecca and I were so back and fourth it was frustrating to not be able to get a straight quote. I have about 10 emails with no definitive quote, the emails Sam and I went though had a horrible lag time.I had high hopes for this shop. I came in to check it out before placing my order and it seemed like somewhere I wanted to bring my business. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the owners son tell my boyfriend and I that his beliefs wouldn't let him print at this shop. He compared my boyfriends business logo to profanity and vulgar imagery, and also stated that he would not let this image be printed at this shop. He didn't believe in it. We reached out to the shop prior to commuting an hour to give our business to VS Tees. Also an email was sent with the brands logo, which he had not responded to, yet when called still told us to come in. Just to arrive and be discriminated against. Because when we were told "I don't believe in that here" it really translated "I don't support black gay men here." Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT PRINT HERE. Our decision to do business ended up being with Sky Sportswear. (The only positive that came out of even stepping foot in VS Tees was the recommendation that Sky Sportswear would help us out) read more

Zero stars is my actual rating. This is the most unprofessional and aggravating company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. After visiting their storefront in dtla and leaving with two samples nearly two months ago, I have yet to accomplish anything with their team. I met and spoke with the owner of the company, David during my visit and he helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for and assured me that he would be able to print on the shirts that I picked. Since then I have only been able to reach the owners "assistant", Rebecca whom I literally cannot understand, and I mean this with no disrespect, she just has a very thick accent. I have had to explain to her several times which shirts we needed yet she still has not kept any record of any of it. Every time we speak it's like starting completely from scratch. We emailed her our artwork and a week later we get a response that tells us that they cannot print our artwork, which is frustrating only because of how confident the owner was about his printers abilities. All this to say that I was able to go directly to the manufacturers and create an account with each and order from them directly at wholesale prices. The men's shirts we ordered were from spectra and their website is spectrausa.net and the women's we got directly from Bella canvas's website. I really appreciated the selection of T-Shirt options here. I was able to find multiple colors and sizes, which was something other nearby stores didn't offer (there are a lot of other shirt spots within walking distance). When I walked in, the cashier was dealing with a customer. There was someone else there in the middle of the space I was able to ask questions to, and he was okay. I wish he had better customer services skills. When I tried on a shirt he told me I couldn't do that. I apologized. Maybe a sign would help? It wasn't clear to me that certain shirts you can try on and others you cannot. I also didn't know that you have to ask for the nicer shirts (Spectra cotton). It was too late for me to switch my entire order but that needs to be clearer. I walked into the store when they were around twenty-five minutes from closing. The gentleman working the cashier reminded me they were closing when I still had ten minutes. I really wasn't feeling that. We all have places to be. The prices are solid. For the shirts I bought, they were only $1.50 each. I also bought a hoodie for a good deal. Really solid selection and pricing, which is why I am giving this place four stars. Advice: Pay with cash because it's cheaper for you. Pay for street parking because the lots are not worth the cost. Also, be prepared to fend for yourself in the store as it's very tight and the people working there are typically busy. Overall, I would come here again. They need to work on the customer service, and also signage so that customers know what is available/what shirts can be tried on. read more

YELP CHECK IN = 10% off for first time customers I found VS Tees via Yelp. I was in the market in hope to find bulk shirts & tank tops for a decent price. When I arrived I noticed a bunch of shops that sold blank shirts on Main St. Though VS Tees was my original destination, I obviously checked out the other stores and did a price comparison. I can say that VS Tees price their product at a competitive price. Their cheaper quality shirts (these are the ones that you normally get for free in events) are priced at $1.50... this was on the cheaper end, considering that I only found one other competitor that sold shirts for this price. Their selection of cheap shirts consist of different brands and materials. You were not obligated to buy a dozen shirts to get the $1.50 price. I saw that they had other tee shirts and tank top options that were a lot better. The qualities of these shirts felt a lot softer and nicer. They sold a dozen higher quality tank tops/shirts for $36 - $38. This was the bulk price, and you had to buy a dozen. Luckily you can change the color and size in increments of three (other stores made you stick to ONE color and ONE size only). The colors were limited, but it still was better than the other options. I ended up opting in for the higher quality tanks and did NOT regret my purchase. The guy who helped me was a young dude who was extremely helpful and acknowledged the customers. I felt a lot better coming here and I would definitely come here again. read more

We came to DTLA to the fashion district from San Jose to find a large quantity of Tees and hoodies. We didn't just want quantity we were also looking for QUALITY. Not being from LA and not very familiar with the area makes it a bit difficult to find what you are looking for. The Fashion District website was somewhat helpful but we still didn't know where to go for what we were specifically looking for. But at least it put us in the area to find this place! We had been walking around for about an hour and a half and the Tees and hoodies we were coming across weren't the quality of clothes we were looking for and we were starting to feel a bit discouraged and feeling like we had to settle for something or leave with nothing. We were ready to throw in the towel and we were just finishing the block off and getting ready to leave when we entered into this place! Boy did we luck out!! Not to only did we find the quantities we were looking for but also the QUALITY! To make this even better the guy at the desk, Sam, he was a pleasure to work with!!!
