After numerous visits from Neighborhood Plumbing and Heating it still continued to cause a problem with shutting off and not starting. I talked with a friend who recommended a HVAC professional who came out and told me my flame sensor was causing the issue. It continually builds up carbon and needs to be cleaned every year. If I would have known this to be the case I would never have purchased this type of furnace. Every year someone needs to make a visit to clean my flame sensor. The cost from Neighborhood would be a typical service call of $100 !! This should have been mentioned at the time of the sale and not discovered after having purchased the unit. I would not recommend Neighborhood Plumbing and Heating they are not qualified professionals in their field. I recommend Mechanical Systems Inc. Very Knowledgeable and have expertise in this line of work.

Now, 9mnths after it all, with all these warranties..... We have a furnace that won't heat, Kevin not honoring anything, not showing, not responding. We've had to go to the furnace supplier who says Kevin even ghosts them on the regular. And having to pay tons of money to other LEGIT HVAC shops to fix what Kevin did wrong. Worst experience ever.

Our contractor selected Ace HVAC out of Princeton MN for the installation of an entire system for…read moreour new house in Chanhassen. This system includes infloor hot water heat as well as forced air furnace and AC. They were the first contractor there and had complete control for locating all of these systems. What a disaster! In the utility room they located the boiler across the room from the hot water manifiolds so they encircled the entire room with 2" copper tubing to reach the manifolds. No other system, hot water heater, softener, sink can be located near the walls because of the hot copper piping. The gas lines are a tangle of bent copper tubing. They installed a 3 ton AC system in a 4000ft2 while other companies recommend 5 ton. Absolutely the worst planning we have ever encountered for an HVAC system, a total lack of workmanship in the sytem layout and configuration. Please choose a different company for your HVAC project! These people are real hacks!
