The doorman and the bartender were super nice, and we enjoyed our time at VooDoo Two. We wanted to avoid a crowd, so this was a good choice on the night we were there. Although there were around 15-20 people, the space is so large that it was comfortable. Bar seats were also comfy! A good selection from the full bar, beers on draft and some cans in refrigerators as well. There's a pool table and some video gaming. Drinks were made correctly and budget friendly. First time Andela and I was staying at a hotel on Bourbon Street. Me and the man love a competitive game of pool so we found out from Bruce at a different Fudo bar to try hair. Absolute game changer. We made this part of our daily activities and gotten 3 to 5 games of pool. Even my other out of towners from our state. Ordered a dirty martini which was surprisingly delicious as the man sipped on his beer/sazaac. Bring your quarters if you're ready to play if not the bartender will definitely give you change their ATM is located on site as well. They have a good $5 menu for drinks. We ordered several chocolate martinis (not on the $5 menu) and there was no price listed for the other drinks. The martini was $14, waaaay overpriced. It was made well and balanced, but not worth $14. If you want to relax on a Saturday night, this place may be good. Drinks are very pricey. read more

We wanted a place to have a couple of cocktails and catch the game, and that was it. The cocktails were good, decent price (for NOLA), and service was friendly. Place is amazing though very relaxed environment beautifully decorated got a love that jumpstarted piano in the entrance and I have dancer body tables there's a few of them around very cool social environment wonderful lounging chairs and away from the high tops. We were here during Covid pandemic, so social distancing was being enforced and we went very early in the afternoon so it was very quiet. Decently sized bar in the CBD with decent drink prices that make it more competitive than many other spots looking to match New York City prices. They have a lot of tables and in many ways it resembles a restaurant more than a bar. Service is quick and friendly even when it is crowded. The bathrooms are a bit small for when larger crowds are around but I'm not sure if that is a common occurrence. The last time I was here there was also a band but I'm not sure how frequently that happens. read more

She was from Chicago, but gave some of the best recommendations we had during our whole trip and she made the best old fashioned my husband said he'd ever had, and that's saying something!
