Hawaiian sliders and homemade chips. The chips are addictive.

I use to absolutely love Voodoo but lately things are getting sloppy. The poor guy who opened the shop today at lunch found all the trash and leftover messes facing him from the night before. The crew last night just left the place a mess. Dirty bowls and beer glasses not picked up sitting on dirty and sticky counters. This isn't the way to run a food and drink business. I've noticed that even the clean beer tumblers aren't that clean any more. You can see lip prints on the rim of the glass. We returned a glass of beer because of lip prints and finger prints. Do the franchise owners realize what is happening and do they realize there are three other micro breweries a block away? I don't have to patronize this spot. I can recommend the Shaved Brussel Sprout Cesar salad. It was delicious and filling. I had a Hop Life Nut House Porter with my salad. It was nice and cold. The food is fairly good overall. I hope Voodoo can take corrective action on the lazy employees or I'll be visiting Black Flamingo more often.

My husband and I saw the bright, colorful lights along Dixie Highway and we decided to stop in and check Voodoo Brewing out. There is a long bar, some high tops, and lots more colorful decor inside. It was almost last call on a Friday night; but we had time for 1 beer. The beers had all kinds of interesting sounding names like "Wynona's Big Brown Ale," "Empty Calories," "Oh Mama," and "Where Our Secrets Go." I decided to try a "Crick Crusher" which was a golden ale that was " brewed for days on the water, nights by the fire, and every moment in between." it was very crisp, cold, refreshing. My husband ordered the. "Where Our Secrets Go." It was an imperial stout and he said it was good. The bartender was very friendly and gave us some background information on some of the unique beer names. It was $22 for 2 beers; a little pricey, but they were craft beers and they were good. Luckily my husband noticed the next day that he had been billed twice on his AMEX card; one charge for $22 and another one for over $40 He called that afternoon and spoke to someone and they said they would take care of it with no problem. Not sure if this ihsppened because it was the end of the night but next time I will pay close attention to my check, and probably pay with cash.

The brewery was easy to find. I just looked for the big blue gorilla that was in the front of the building. It had plenty of parking all around. The place looked like a fun place. It was a big open space. They had video games, games and board games. The bar was huge. They had different types of sitting options around. The place had atmosphere. I had the wings. I got them to go. They tasted and smelled great. I was happy with the order. I didn't have to wait long. The service was good and friendly.

We went with a group on a Saturday night. There was available seating at tables and at the bar. They allow samples before choosing a beer. The staff got a little busy and ordering took a awhile. I tried a few of their sour beers and they weren't very flavorful. The beers from other breweries that they had on tap had more flavor. I like that you can get a small size beer. We ordered the pork nachos. They sat on the kitchen counter waiting for a staff member to deliver them so when we finally got them they were cold. They had good flavor even though they were cold. My friend gave me some of her pretzel. It is delicious!!! It is large and taste very fresh. It is served with beer cheese and a sweet mustard. There is free parking in front.

This feels new and fresh. The owners have done a good job decorating inside creating a vibe. The beers were good I liked the hazy which had a lot of flavor. On my visit VooDoo seemed low on inventory and was out of many beers. There are also pool tables and food including some bar standards like nachos. There are many breweries in walking distance so it is very easy to bar hop. Staff were friendly and very chill.

Waited almost two years for this highly anticipated craft beer joint to open. In the middle of the day it was dead and got free easy parking in front of the business. An eight foot tall blue gorilla protects the entrance which allows a great picture opportunity. The art pieces were immediately noticeable throughout, which were purchased from the art gallery next door. Voodoo Brewing brews almost all their offered beers creations with a select few beers on Guest Taps. The bar was huge and took a seat directly in the center and met the bartender who explained some of his recommended brews. Chose the Sour which was excellent. Got the five Samosas Indian Street Snacks with a mint cilantro and tangy chutney sauces which were delicious and complemented the cold Lacto-Kooler Berliner Weisse Sour 5.5% brew. Voodoo also offers a full liquor bar with a home brewed American Whiskey and Vodka. Happy Hour 4pm - 6pm for $2 off all craft beer and $4 off cocktails. August fun schedule starts at 7pm: Music Bingo Mondays, Trivia Night Wednesdays and Poker every Thursday. The bathroom had an industrial theme with cement flooring with modern finishes.

Looking for breweries in the area and found this place off of Dixie Highway. Very open and bright space and pretty large. The staff was nice and we got to try some flights of beers and they also have food. We played some card games while tasting different beers and eating some tasty wings. They also have burgers that were good as well. They have seasonal beers so that means I have to go back.

Voodoo Brewing was the 2nd stop on a beer hopping event. The owner and her sons are very friendly. The beer is excellent and so is the food. The interior is decorated with art from local artists. I tried a flight of 4 different, very colorful beers. There is seating around the bar, and tables inside and 2 picnic tables outside. The menu is inspired by Indian cuisine. I would definitely come back!!

Visited Voodoo Brewing on a Friday night since I was in the mood for a beer and a burger. First off, plenty of parking which is always a big plus. The entrance is super cool with a giant gorilla statue and nice lighting that sets the vibe before you even walk in. Inside, the place has a huge open area with scattered high-top tables and the bar right in the middle. Surprisingly, it was pretty empty for a Friday night, but since I was solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar. I was greeted right away and I believe Emily was my server, she was very friendly and helpful with both the beer and food menu. I sampled two beers per her recommendation and ended up going with the Oh Mama (a golden lager). It was crisp, cold, and really good. For food, I tried the Good Vibes Bacon Blue Burger (hickory smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, signature patty topped with Good Vibes BBQ sauce). The burger was excellent. juicy, flavorful, and came with chips on the side. Overall, it's a really fun spot with great beer and food. My only knock is that I found it a bit overpriced for what it is, otherwise I'd have given it five stars. Still, I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

Great experience at Voodoo Brewing. We ordered a flight with the raspberry, blueberry, key lime, and cider, and everything was good, but the raspberry was definitely the standout -- very flavorful and refreshing without being too sweet. The blueberry and key lime were also enjoyable and unique, and the cider was crisp and easy to drink. The atmosphere was relaxed with a really nice vibe, and the service was excellent. Our server was super nice, attentive, and made the experience even better. Overall, a great spot to hang out, try different drinks, and enjoy a welcoming environment. Would definitely come back.

2.5 stars... Had half pours of most of the IPA varieties and came away with just an "ok" opinion. Also tried the pizza, and was not impressed. Box mix crust and bland toppings. The beer isn't from here or brewed here, so I was disappointed to discover. Service was good. They served me a beer that had gone bad, and offered to replace it.. highlight of my visit.

Voodoo is something newer in Oakland Park's beer row. Voodoo comes from a brewery in Pennsylvania There are some game tables and the space is large. It has a chill vibe with some skull decor and voodoo like things. Staff are friendly and service is usually quick. I like the Hefeweizen beer which goes down well on a warm day.

Great for groups and watching sports, this brewery has joined a few others in downtown Oakland Park and makes not only beers, but liquor too. Try have a craft kitchen and are known for their pizzas. The truffle fries were a nice fun snack with a tasty dip. Every time before I have been there, I have had hard cider. They have live music on Fridays. On this most recent visit, I had a pineapple mojito with house made rum. Within my group of about 20 people, several people ordered food- a giant pretzel, samosas, sliders, and pizzas. Everyone was happy and really enjoyed the beers. Service is friendly as well.

    Truffle fries awesome!!

Well, I'm happy to say we found a taco spot that stands out above the rest. Quvo Taco blew us away last night and was amazing. Small place, very quaint, great ambience, super friendly staff, which were the owners and truly amazing Mexican food. We started with something simple, which was their guacamole and chips. Had to be some of the best guacamole we had and the chips were super fresh and just had a great taste. For dinner, my wife had the two taco plate with Carnitas and ground beef. She repeatedly said that they were the best tacos that she's ever had and we've eaten tacos at a lot of places. I had their special of the night, which was a fried chicken burrito with Mole sauce on it. Wow wow wow is all I can say. Hands-down was the best tasting mole sauce that I've ever had. And the burrito itself was super flavorful, had a good amount of filling and was outstanding. I also want to mention that they have an extensive beer selection. They recommended to me the mango Keylime beer and my wife had their apricot peach beer. They just made our meal that much better because of how good their selection of beverages are. If you have not been to this place, you need to go. If you've been there before you need to go back. There are several large Mexican style restaurants in the area one of them being a chain, and none of them can compete with the flavors and quality of food that Quvo has. Not to mention, their prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. Can't wait to go back!!!!!

I was excited to see they had Neapolitan pizza - my absolute favorite. When done right, I can legitimately eat it everyday. It was also a Wednesday and they have "Weiner Wednesday" - all beef hot dogs with various toppings. We ordered the Margherita pizza, with a side of prosciutto and extra basil, a char and cup pepperoni pizza and two hot dogs - one regular and one cheese and beef. I also ordered two flights and tried the majority of the lighter beers and IPAs. I liked all the beers except for the vanilla sundae IPA...that was an interesting concept but a bit too sweet for me. The Pilsner was my favorite - super crisps and delicious. The staff were super nice and attentive and the decor is fun with a lot of string lights. The pizza was delicious- I am so picky about pizza and it was so good. I wasn't expecting a brewery to have legit Neapolitan pizza but they did. The hot dogs were tasty took on a sesame hot dog but which I thought was a nice touch. The only thing I wish they'd done differently was toast the hot dog bun. It got a bit soggy while I was eating due to the toppings. This is a popular brewery but it still felt really chill. Bathrooms were clean and kept up. Honestly would be here all the time if I lived in this area. Very highly recommend!
