Not quite as upscale as the photos would have you believe - counter service ordering. But what we…read moreordered was very good. The beef bulgogi was a standout. Mushroom Japche was meaty with glass noodles. Fire chicken was not to my taste - too much cheese, and probably a lesson in why dairy is infrequently found in Korean dishes. Most of them leaned sweet and salty. Personally, I really liked the kimchi fried rice, and the tofu soup was also great. The stir‑fried pork was decent as well. The meats are of high quality, the side dishes always tasty, and staff super helpful. I highly recommend for groups of 4!

My friend and I finally decided to try this spot we always pass, and honestly I'm glad we did. What…read morepulled us in was that it's not AYCE. We're never great at eating our money's worth, so the pay-as-you-go setup felt like a better fit. We got the favorite set for two, which ended up being plenty. The biggest highlight right away: they grill everything for you. KBBQ is just better when you can sit back and eat instead of managing the grill yourself. They also use a back grill to keep things moving, so there's barely any pause between rounds of meat. It felt really efficient. Also, the place is surprisingly clean and doesn't have that heavy "you're going to smell like smoke for the next 5 hours" vibe, which I really appreciated. Somehow they keep it all under control even with constant grilling. Service-wise, the staff were attentive and clearly working hard, especially since it seemed a bit understaffed. That said, my friend did feel a little uncomfortable at times. There were a few moments where it felt like we were being watched closely, almost like they were worried about a dine-and-dash situation, and we were asked multiple times if we had paid. I personally read it more as things being slightly disorganized with a small team juggling cooking, serving, and payments, but I can see how it might come across differently depending on how you interpret it. Food-wise, the meat was very good, but the banchan really stood out to me. The cabbage salad with a gingery soy dressing was super refreshing and cut through the richness of the meat perfectly. Free refills on banchan are always a win too. I also liked that the grill came with corn cheese, egg, and sprouts, nice extras you don't always get. The corn cheese wasn't as sweet as I expected, and the egg was a bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. The tilted grill setup was another plus since it lets the grease drain away, so the meal didn't feel overly heavy like some AYCE spots. Overall, it was a really fun experience. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and how easy the whole meal felt. Just something to be aware of with the service dynamic depending on how sensitive you are to that kind of thing.

We just walked in on a Saturday night, without a reservation, and did get a table, but it filled up shortly after. I loved the bonchon they served after we sat down. I love kim chi and all things fermented; so it was a nice way to start our meal! I ordered the kimchi fried rice with shrimp, which was good, but I probably wouldn't order again. The flavor was one note, I wish it had more veggies in it and I'm not sure why it is served on a bed of melted cheese. My husband got to hot Bibimbop bowl (the hot one), and he paid extra for bulgogi beef. This was a very flavorful dish that I highly recommend!! It just is not on the printed menu. Very cool, but also slightly chaotic. If you speak Korean, there is basically an unlocked menu situation. Same with tteokbokki. Not listed, but available. Love that for the insiders. The only downside is you do not really know all the prices ahead of time, and things ended up being a little higher than expected. It is right next to H Mart though, so prime real estate. The yukhoe came out still a tiny bit frozen in the center, but the seasoning was great. Nicely balanced sesame oil, garlic, a little sweetness. They mix it for you at the table which is a nice touch. We were mid mixing and they tried to take our picture which caught us off guard, but honestly it is a fair trade for how attentive and kind they were. Seafood tofu pot was a bit underwhelming protein wise. One shrimp and maybe two squid rings. Not exactly seafood heavy. That said, the broth itself had good depth and the tofu was silky and comforting. Service was warm and attentive the whole time. The space is super picturesque. Small booths with grills built into the tables, wooden frames, very traditional KBBQ vibes. Cozy and cute without feeling cramped. Overall, good experience.
