Our kid drove a golf cart into our overhead garage door before it had completely opened overhead causing the bottom section to come out of the track and the tension wire to unspool. They helped me replace an old garage door and new openers. They were very knowledgeable about pros and cons of different styles of openers. I had a very high ceiling in my garage and they told me about high lift garage doors. The doors now lift vertically and I have eliminated all the low hanging horizontal tracks that look bad and take up so much space. While it is a bit more of an investment, I would really recommend it for someone with higher garage ceilings. They were on time and communicated when they were going to arrive. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them. read more

We just had the absolute best experience with Thomas at 1st Affordable Garage Door! One of our window panes in our garage door broke a while back. We had several companies provide an assessment but all insisted the only fix was to completely replace the door. Thomas responded to our inquiry in record time! He was extremely knowledgeable, affordable, AND he came out on a holiday (despite us insisting we were fine with any other day). He does do replacements and installations but prefers repair over replace when possible and as long as the cost is worth it in comparison to full replacement.
