I like that he not only works with the dogs but also with the owners because I didn't even realize I was contributing to some of the issues with one of my dogs. I do want to point out, Not all dog trainers are the same. we took our young German shepherd somewhere else and they scared him/spooked him with us in the room. Heck they scared me too. We left and booked our appointment with Sean like we should have to begin with. Sean worked with that same dog, a male German shepherd that was extremely anxious on walks. We are continuing to follow Sean's advice to calm him but I think it's going to take some time as he has separation anxiety. We know to work with Sean and highly recommend him.

After a taking a look at a number of breeders from websites in So Cal, Central California, and the Bay Area, and visiting others in person, my discouragement ended after communicating with Angie from Golden Retriever Buddies. My visit reinforced my initial positive impressions upon visiting their facility and meeting her in person. I was able to come home that same day with a handsome little pup. As others have already written, this breeder, Angie, demonstrated exceptional care for their puppies as shown by their pictures, the environment in which they were kept and the acute detail in documenting all vaccines administered. Moreover, Angie had shared that she limited how much he was fed to prevent car sickness for the drive home. Angie could not have been friendlier or more professional in facilitating the transition to being a new Golden Retriever puppy parent. Having had two other Goldens from breeders, Angie was the most professional and sincere with whom I've interacted. This breeder had amazingly top quality puppies that I would not hesitate to contact again for another pup. She is a real gem as are her puppies. She demanded a $500 deposit before even seeing the puppy and she wanted us to fill out an application with our personal information on it. I told her my concerns with respect to fraud and giving money up front when I don't have proof that the dog even exists. She told me she will provide references and I can look on a decade's worth of social media for proof. But we all know about cat-fishing and now AI. So, I asked if I could complete a background search on her first but she wouldn't even do that - she wanted a mutual exchange. I'm sorry but I'm not the one asking for money up front and if she really has nothing to hide then this wouldn't be that difficult. She was very aggressive about it and said that if she was fraudulent she would have an accent. Idk what this is but before you waste your time and heart you should be aware of this. Highly suspicious.

The next day, she sent a form letter which provided instructions and links to make a deposit. It also provided a passcode to a picture folder on her site to view current pups (already spoken for). The problem was the passcode was wrong. We reached out twice trying to get a good passcode. Desarie never replied back. We get that this breeder is busy. When you Google Klee Kai puppies, her website is at the top of the list. She has an outstanding page with lots of info and video resources. Sadly, it seems she is not interested in conversing with you unless you make the deposit. We probably would have done so had the passcode been correct. We were serious buyers, but not taken seriously by this breeder. Communication is key at all stages of the buying process. We were fortunate to find another breeder in the end who understood this.
