But good customer service is about how you communicate in those situations. A simple, "we were running a little behind this morning, I'm so sorry for the delay," would have been more than enough. Instead, I was met with rudeness, which made the experience unnecessarily frustrating, especially since I had scheduled my morning around the pharmacy's posted opening time.
