This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff (including the pharmacists) are TERRIBLE. They seem to get joy out of making the process of picking up medication as difficult as possible. EVERY time I go to this pharmacy there is some sort of problem with my medication, and the staff rarely is helpful in addressing the problem. The place needs to be closed. read more

The pharmacy was not helpful at all. I called and said hey, I have a question they said "what?" I asked my question because I was looking for a cold medicine without acetaminophen and they said I have to come look myself. I have a cold and feel like crap so I was going to order it ahead of time. I didn't want to come into the store. Why couldn't they have just told me? I needed a medication but wasn't going to be able to get it as my insurance was going to charge me 531.00. The young man who helped me put me hold and I was about to hang up because I was on hold for about 5 minutes when he picked the phone up he was able to save me over 400.00. I appreciate the fact he took his time to save me 400.00 and I was able to get the medicine filled. The young man saved me as I really needed the medicine. read more

This Walgreens is now a Kroger- Walgreens . I liked it better when it was just Walgreens. There is already a Kroger across the street. It's convenient if you want to pick up general grocery items. I miss the whole aisle greeting cards & seasonal goods Walgreens offered. read more

I went to fountain City Walgreens and I've never been treated so bad there and I've been going there for years. I walk in and it appears that there are two cash register open and there was one customer ahead of me, I was there to buy a pack of cigarettes. Well the cashier told the customer in front of me to go to next cash register and before I had time to say or do anything, the cashier looks directly at me in a bad rude tone and says- what are you looking at? She said it so rude and hafel. What happen to good customer service? Is that a thing of the past? read more

I've been going to this Walgreens since it's inception, and have never had any real issues there. The staff is always courteous, generally happy to make small talk. They usually have anything you may need in stock, and, if not, they're happy to point you in the right direction. As for the location, I live not far away, and it's easy to pop in and out utilizing backroads. read more

I've been trying to fill my prescription for three days now one day was not their fault because I had to wait for a prior authorization to go through. But the next day they told me to call and it will be ready so I called and they told me that I couldn't pick up my medication and then I had to come back the next day to pick it up I was allowed to pick it up that day. So I called the next day and the lady who answered the phone in the pharmacy told me OK that I can come pick it up so I got ready to come pick it up she calls back and says I can't pick it up today that I have to wait until the next day when the day before I spoke with the manager and he told me to come in today. I always have to deal with something when it comes to my prescription and this company I believe they are being very judge you about the prescription that I am on. I am switching to a different pharmacy and will never walk into a Walgreens EVER again! I feel so abused by them! I will be using other social media to let people know what they are doing. read more

I guess I'll go ahead and just add on to Larry P.'s review... as he has summed up most of the nonsense that is this store... Employees and Management are very rude to their customers. One of their managers, Trish (If that's even her real name, I had to squeeze it out of her over the phone.) is very rude and abrupt. Their joke of a GM, Mr. Loveless has no idea how to treat people, as he's no better. I've had bad wait times in the pharmacy drive thru (30 minutes) on a regular basis, usually because there's no more than 1 or 2 people working in the Pharmacy at any given time. I literally live two blocks up from this store and I avoid it like the plague. Never mind the fact that numerous criminal acts of violence have occurred in the parking lot, or that it gets robbed at a consistency that almost feels comical at this point, but the store insists on having the most unqualified personnel imaginable manning the checkout. At the risk of sounding ageist, there are simply jobs that older people with clearly arthritic conditions are not all that great at doing - and quickly getting customers through the checkout line is one of them. This wouldn't be so maddening if there were a place to put your purchases while you wait (often up to ten mins from joining the line to actually getting to the counter), but you're left holding them to the point of near agony. And the clerks are basically clueless that the long line of people would like to, you know, not be standing in a line for hours, so they think nothing of chatting it up with whomever happens to be lucky enough to have finally made it to the counter, thereby making the wait even longer for everyone behind them. And hey, how about that pharmacy! It's just as bad. Always, always a wait, and their reliance on an automated phone refill service is misguided at best. On at least two occasions, I used the service and received a call to tell me my prescription was ready for pickup, only to arrive and have the pharmacy techs have ZERO idea what i was talking about. I even tried using the drive-thru pharmacy once after the automated service assured me my scrip was ready, only to sit - blocked in - at the drive-thru for (not kidding!) half an hour while the car in front of me dealt with this store's incompetence. And the best part? After waiting half an hour for a scrip I was told was ready - guess what! They had no idea what I was talking about. A MOUNTAIN of no to this Walgreens. I'm still shocked Walgreens corporate hasn't burned this store to the ground and started over from scratch. It could only be an improvement. read more

I've been using this pharmacy on and off for a couple of years in a pinch because it's so close to my house. I hate to do it because there is ALWAYS something that goes wrong or makes me wait and it's usually somehow construed as being my fault. While irritating, I've never had an awful experience there... Until yesterday! I had dropped my script off a day prior(after waiting in the drive through line for 20 minutes) and was told it would be filled by that afternoon(it wasn't). So, okay just hold it for me and I'll pick it up tomorrow morning after being assured that they were working on it right at that moment. The next morning I pull up to the drive-thru and tell them that if be paying cash for my script and the woman on duty scoffed at me and looked very annoyed that she'd have to stand up. She came back after 5 minutes and told me that it would take another 10 to change the billing which was fine. I tell her I'm coming inside to wait. After waiting inside for 15 I go up to the girl at the pharmacy desk and let her know that I am inside waiting j'ust in case' and she tells me that the script has not been filled AT ALL! Ever. I was also not even on the queue or shown as waiting. I told her the girl at the window said the wait would be 10 minutes which desk girl seems shocked by. Drive-thru gets called over and says NO, she had told me 15-20 or longer and gave me a sour look. She lied right in front of me to save her own ass! Then I waited 20 more minutes and paid 50 for Rx that normally costs me 20. I'm just sick of this place and their bad attitudes. I usually like to go to Costco pharmacy; they are always prompt, friendly, and inexpensive. I guess I will just have to find a new close pharmacy to do my quick trips because I'm never going back in there again. read more

This Walgreens has one of the best pharmacies I've ever been at. The pharmacist are usually friendly and very quick except when you go through the drive-thru. Most the time the drive-thru is due to a customer not paying attention to what their insurance covers or trying to get the drugs in under 30 days such as your painkillers that they've already gone through in 10 or 15 days as I see the same thing inside. The store is very clean the cashiers at the front are always very nice and polite and they run great specials. My biggest complaint here is when you're at the pharmacy people will be on the phone and standing in your personal space meaning you can reach your arm out and hit him in the face with your elbow. My other complaint is it smells like a cigarette store where they are in the pharmacy or outside the door. I've actually considered going to CVS to do their smoking policy. I don't understand why a drug store would sell cigarettes. They are handicapped accessible as well as plenty of handicap parking as I never see it full and I am here 2 times a week at least. read more
