I have not been tattooed by this shop yet, but I don't think I have ever had a more positive first…read moreencounter than I did today. I do have 12 tattoos from maybe 7 different artists, so I'm familiar with the process. I wish all shops treated their clients/potential clients the way I was treated. Very, very friendly, open and welcoming! I was not made to feel like I was a nuisance or insane because I had questions. I walked in hoping to speak with the artist Jami Owen and she took great care to listen to what I was looking for, even though she was consulting with a past client. She was very respectful and transparent and made me feel very comfortable. I strongly feel the way an artist talks to you on your first visit is indicative of how the tattoo process will go with them. It's only a matter of time before I book with Jami and this shop . I really liked the vibe of the shop and this artist, most visits lead me to never wanting to return, but this was such a breath of fresh air! Great job to ownership and staff, you doing it right!

I would not recommend this business based on my experience. I won gift certificates from this shop,…read moreand nowhere on the certificates does it state that they are limited to one per customer or that they cannot be gifted to someone else. There are no restrictions or stipulations printed on them regarding how many can be used or who can use them. After receiving them, I was then told that only one gift certificate could be used per customer and that I could not give the others to someone else to use. If those restrictions exist, they should have been clearly disclosed on the certificates from the beginning--not added after the fact. I find this extremely misleading and frustrating. Had these terms been clearly stated upfront, there wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, the way this was handled left me with a very poor impression of the business, both in terms of customer service and professionalism. I would not return or recommend them. They wouldn't even give my friend back their $200 deposite.

She does an amazing job every single time and never disappoints. I feel comfortable and welcome when I go to my appointments which is a must in having art done. Ashley has created multiple tattoos for me and is always on point, would recommend her to anyone! The waitlist is a bit long at the moment, but for good art, I can wait as if an artist has a wait list they are good because they are in demand. I can say that Ashley (@artbyashleyrachelle) is an amazing artist that I will continue to have my tattoos done by. :)

Well the needle goes in and I accidentally flinch a little bit. Clearly annoyed, my piercer told me she had to redo it because I moved. With tears in my eyes and blood trickling into my mouth, I leaned my head back while she re-pierced the hole. After a year, I had a little scar around my piercing, but I just tried to ignore it. Cut to another year later, and because of that scar, I'm still having tons of trouble with this piercing. I'm really frustrated because now I have many other piercings from different locations and I haven't had a single problem with any of them. I'm really disappointed and frustrated with this place :(

The shop is fantastic and I loved the layout with multiple artists in one room. Great chatter throughout our appointments; would go again on another Knox trip for sure!

I contacted Brad and told him I needed to cancel indefinitely (this was a week and a half before the appointment). He never said he worked on the design and then said it was shop policy that deposits are nonrefundable. I go to the website and screenshot the blurb about deposits and the word "nonrefundable" was nowhere to be found. THE NEXT DAY, THE WORD "NONREFUNDABLE"WAS ON THEIR WEBSITE IN BOLD LETTERS. Nice try, dude. I messaged the owner, Doc, and he gave me the same crap story, even when I pointed out that was never in writing on the website. That's how you run a business?! Avoid this place! Not only are they overpriced, they are incredibly sketchy and dishonest.
