Gia was the absolute sweetest. She was super communicative, incredibly skilled, and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. Getting a tattoo obviously hurts, so having someone with that level of care and such a great bedside manner makes all the difference. You can just tell that Gia is incredibly talented and also a genuinely wonderful person. I loved my time with her and already can't wait to get another tattoo from her. The whole shop had such good vibes, too. Even the owner came out and chatted with me about what I was getting, which made the experience feel really personal and welcoming. I highly recommend Gia and Idle Hand Tattoo. Amazing talent, amazing care, amazing energy. A+ all around!

I retract and apologize for my last review, I wish I would have contacted them directly before going public, but I didn't know if they were trustworthy and honorable and now I do.

This individual presented himself as a professional artist, yet my experience was the complete…read moreopposite. I paid substantial deposits and trusted him with existing artwork that was meaningful to me. Instead of improving it, he altered designs, changed shapes, and damaged pieces that were already completed, all while criticizing the work of previous artists. When I raised concerns, rather than taking responsibility for obvious mistakes, he deflected, made excuses, and brought up matters unrelated to the quality of his work. During tattoo sessions, while I was enduring significant pain, he would assure me that he was making the artwork better. Unfortunately, I later discovered that many of those changes had permanently compromised the original designs. The consequences extended far beyond the tattoo chair. I spent thousands of dollars on removal treatments and endured additional physical pain, emotional distress, and mental strain in an attempt to correct the damage. During that process, I also met others who claimed to have had similar negative experiences and were seeking tattoo removal after work they were unhappy with, at Removery tattoo removal and fading in Knoxville. Ultimately, I chose to walk away and have had no contact with him since. In my opinion, his conduct was dishonest, unprofessional, and harmful to his clients. I believe consumers deserve to be fully informed before trusting someone with permanent artwork on their bodies. My advice to anyone considering this artist is simple: do not market yourself as a high-end specialist in detailed, large-scale, full-body tattoo work unless your skills, experience, and results consistently support those claims. Clients place tremendous trust in artists, and permanent artwork requires honesty, competence, and accountability. Shame
