My associate was Sabastiana, and she was an absolute doll! She went out of her way to accommodate me and introduced me to some of the other amazing Ulta associates as well. She even convinced me to come back for Benefit Brow Bar services, and I already know who I will be seeing! I work five minutes from this location so this will be my home Ulta. I'm so happy I came here because the associates at this Ulta were super nice and helpful. They weren't snobbish at all like the associates at the Chesapeake/Greenbrier location, where I'll never shop again due to the rude customer service. Please, check out this Ulta at Landstown Commons because not only is the selection top-tier, the customer service is VERY top-tier!

I had accidentally grabbed the wrong brand of a mascara thinking it was BOGO, at the register the worker (I believe her name was basciana??). I asked why they did not come up as BOGO and she responded very rudely and laughed saying "who would've told you that" and I explained that it was a promotion and last year during the same promotion I bought the same brand and kind of mascara so I had assumed that it was the same this year. And she responded with "okay and it's 2026". I was very appreciative of the service from the other worker greeting and helping me and I believe her name was Carly? Due to this I then did not buy the mascara.

I had went in on a Friday at 6pm and we both didn't leave the salon until 1am because of the process and how much hair I have!! I felt horrible that I kept her there that late and for so many hours but that is a true definition of a hard worker and leader! She is much appreciated for the time she spent on me! My hair is exactly what I wanted, and she made sure to make it happen even if it took 7 hours . This salon is by far the best salon I have been to in Virginia Beach! Elissa has picked some of the best stylist on her team and give them 10 thumbs up! I have done a color with Kim as well and came out amazing!

They accepted me with my baby and were extremely welcoming and supportive. Jennifer did an amazing job with my hair and showed so much patience, she had a crazy product to work with but gave me an amazing outcome! Tip for this place they are by appointment only so make sure to contact them through their Facebook page to book an appointment. This is a little more time consuming due to not just being able to call for availabilities or just randomly show for a haircut, however the results they give are extremely worth the effort. Would completely recommend!

They prefer appointments, but will take walk-ins (be mindful that priority will always go to appointment clients) I wanted to do a walk in, but ended up setting a same day appointment, only 2 hours after I made the call, so it a doable wait time. I ate lunch and had a nap before coming in, so it was already leading up to a nice chill day. My stylist was an older lady, and she was very pleasant, quick nimble with the scissors and mostly styled my hair with just her hands (I have natural waves) and used very little product. And my hair turned out better than I expected. I basically got a wolf cut with soft layers. As we talked, I found out she's had a collective of over 30 years experience cutting hair both abroad and here In the states. I can really appreciate the service she gave along with her pleasant demeanor during the whole experience I had. My husband ended up going there to get his hair cut a few days later...and I was happy with what they did to his hair as well. Very clean and styled in a way that suits his face and head shape. Not just a cookie cutter hairstyle that looks the same on everyone. This one really flattered his specific look and personality. The only downside is parking on a busy day, the lot is small and right up near a busy street. So I understand why they encourage appointments, to keep the parking lot from being crowded. So it seems like they already put some consideration into setting up a good experience for their clientele. I look forward to visiting them again in the future for a color job I want to try. All I wanted this time around was a wash, cut and style and it was decently priced and professionally done in a relatively short amount of time. Always tip your stylist, especially if you can't stop smiling at what a great job they did. thanks for the amazing service!

I've had my fair share of mediocre and even straight up BAD cuts in the past, so I was wary as I searched for someone to fill that void. I called on a Saturday and they were able to get me in with Kim on that following Tuesday. I felt like a fool as I showed up and said I had an appointment with "Ken". Oops! Kim was so pleasant to chat with and after talking to her and showing her a few photos, she whipped up a hairstyle that I walked away SO happy with. Like, taking mass selfies in the parking lot outside of the salon happy. THAT kinda happy. I smile because I've found my new "hair lady". Couldn't be happier.
