First experience here on a weekday morning and K had a great experience. Located next to Nimitz hwy in Kalihi, the shop has VERY good deals. I was planning to call ahead of time but I'm sure that they wouldn't be able to discuss prices over the phone. But because of their website and their deals going on-on their website, it was convenient just to check it out in person. I was very impressed from their convenient & free parking, to their small shop that was clean, tidy, and organized. They had a lot of selections and a lot of promotions going on. I bought 2 hotbox brand devices, 2/$12.99! I was like "foreal?!" Yes, was foreal. And yes, it's always recommended that you try out the product before you leave the store + read your receipt for their store policy or you should be able to find their policy on their website, or just simply ask which i did. The manager - Kulae (excuse my spelling) was very helpful, she gave me multiple selections, gave recommendations, explained each product that i pointed at, and asked me those identifying questions to know what product(s) would be right for me. I came in here wanting to purchase a new vape. Was there for not even 10 minutes and I walked out. I am now sitting in my car in their parking lot as I type this review. I didn't get the guy's name but he wasn't very friendly or helpful at all. In fact, he seemed to not genuinely be interested in trying to help me. I am fairly new to vaping and had a few questions to ask. He showed me about 5 different ones, and also pointed to the one he personally uses. Before today I have always enjoyed the staff @ the kapahulu store . The store assistant manager Cari is always amazing , she really goes over and beyond for her customers . Sadly tonight was second experience with the new sales person named Paris . She is very unprofessional , rude and combative . A few weeks ago my husband and I came in the purchase vape juice and coils she was very rude and unpleasant . I did notify management about my unpleasant experience with Paris . Tonight when my husband went into the store she was again very rude and aggressive. She made sure to let my husband know that she was aware that we spoke to management the last time . She said "My name is Paris and you can call Cari after you leave just like the last time. Local people here in Hawaii work very hard for our money and we always carry the Aloha spirit . To be treated badly and disrespected by a salesperson is very disheartening. After our second encounter with Paris we chose not to purchase anything from her . The kapahulu store is very convenient for me to stop by and grab my weekly supplies. We have chosen to go to another store because we really don't feel like being treated unfairly. I went to your Kalihi location about a week ago to get some new coils for my inferno, and told the rep that for the last four purchases I've bought coils, 1 out of 5 doesn't work. It either won't fire or already taste burnt. She told me "yeah that's just how they are." I was in a rush so I didn't make a stink. But that's $20 worth of coils that have been thrown away. So I bought a new pack only to find that only 2/5 work. The other three won't even fire! I want to return them, but there is a strict no return policy. I'm really trying to stay local, everyone is telling me that their products are sub par and not worth the headache to stay local. Well I disagree! I think local products can be just as good as imported ones, we just have to Care enough to do it right and remember the people, like me, who have been rocking with them since the beginning. Came here today with the intent of buying a new mod because mines decided not to turn on today with fully charged batteries! Got there and was greeted right away . I explained what was going on and they were kinda shocked being that the mod I have is built to last .. suggested it may be my batteries! That hadn't even crossed my mind being that the ones that were in there were fully charged this morning. The worker tried the stores batteries and my mod turned on ! Came in here because I wanted to get a new vape . There was about 3 workers in there 2 sitting behind the desk and one lady on the sales floor. There was no other customers but myself. As soon as I came in no one says hi or ask me if I needed any help. It was just quiet . Picture this, I'm the only customer in there and there was 3 workers . Not one person can say hi or ask me if I needed help. Anyway I brush the awkwardness away and I start going up and down in their Little store and looking at their vapes. I'm going back and forth and no one ask me what I'm looking for . The lady worker just stands behind me against the wall. I left and ended up going to vape kings where they helped me out and I got a brand new vape there instead . I Don't understand why 3 workers and not one can greet or ask if you need any help . I'm def not a fan of this stuff but they had the 0.99 cent deal so I gave in. We went last week Friday after I had picked him up for work, they weren't busy at all. They actually had no customers inside. they are located in kapalama center, across the old DMV in kalihi. We walked in and it looked like they had 3 workers working, we were greeted by the girl that was working the front register. I don't remember her name but I wish I did! She had a short pixie hair cut & purple hair. I had told her that we are here to purchase the starter kit thats 0.99 cents for new customers. And immediately her attitude changed like she was not interested anymore. Knowing that we are "New Customers" you would think that she would explain to my bf how they work and get the whole run down. Nope, not at all. She told my bf to choose a color he wanted for the e-cig, didn't explain nothing about it. then she had told him to pick a flavor for his e-cig. She didn't even try to help him with that either, he asked her what kinda flavors you got ? She said we got lots, what do you like with an attitude. Without even naming some of the flavors they had. LIKE WTH ! I had to name them out for him because she was absolutely no help. Then the nerve of her she asked what kinda nicotine level he wanted or if he smoked, he had told her no he just wanted to use it to play smoke. And if she didn't give him this look as if she didn't want to help him or why are you even buying one. Like you know what lady, regardless on the customer your job is to help everyone! Friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I have been here twice already and each time the staff provided great customer service. We have been to other establishments that specialize in ecigs and none were as good as this place. The staff took such great care in answering our questions. My favorite was when Vanessa helped us choose a new juice. She was sooooo patient with us when talking about the different flavors. Other establishments that we've been to made us feel like we were bothering the sales staff. It's not like that here. In my opinion prices are what they should be (I don't think it varies too much from place to place), selection is good and presentation is nice. Oh and by the way, we love our icy trio. read more
