This place is normally busy with lot of people sitting in the store.. To me, it looks like it's a hangout place for the 20 to 30 year-old crowd. Everyone that works here is super friendly and professional. I'm normally running in and out and they accommodate me with little to no wait. My other half came in to buy some disposables and mind you that I already walked in with my own (and am of age!! ), I just didn't need one. I just came in to look at what flavors were available. My other half likes to get two to switch out flavors and the lady doesn't want to sell two to him because she thought that I wanted one because I mentioned an interesting flavor. Always has great customer service! Should really figure out how to put a cereal number of some sort on each disposable vape pen in order to track when it was purchased for better return/exchange policy. I have had a few that tested fine in the parking lot but once I got it home it continued to burn after each hit and started to die shortly after that. read more

I first went to the Ewa Beach to find an alternative to ciggaretts. Unlike two other places I had gone to, I was greeted with a smile and a "Welcome!" from all four employees. I had to stand in line for a few minutes as it was very busy, but they have a number ticket system like in a bakery. I was helped by Kaipo who answered all of my (ignorant) questions professionally and helped me pick out some flavors. I've become a regular since then and have tried almost every flavor and stop by sometimes just to drink some coffee and vape. The staff is always professional and knowledgable. read more

I never smoked cigarettes and therefore saw no need in the new fad known as "vaping". That is, until I discovered CBD oil (I am a distributor of the purest CBD oil on the market, grown right here in the USA http://www.hempworx.com/vlanier ). This year, I have decided to take on vaping in an effort to quit smoking cigarettes. First, I started out with the $0.99 deal with the mini kit. Eventually, I went back and got a better one. The Ewa location is about a block away from where we live, so that's a huge plus! The staff is super friendly, patient, and helpful. They are simply AWESOME! The store has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, so if I have to wait my turn at the counter, it's no big deal at all. Also, if the staff is busy helping others, they will still acknowledge you, telling you that they will be right with you. I did, however, come across a rude worker, but I still decided to give this store 5 stars because everything else about the store was impressive. Plus, I don't see that worker anymore.. maybe he's not there anymore? I don't remember his name, but I do remember that he was rude. All I wanted was the glass tank for my device, and he looked at me like I was stupid, giving me attitude. He made me feel like I was bothering him, and simply told me they don't sell that item I was looking for. It seemed like he was rushing me, but I was the only customer at the time. When he finally understood what I was looking for, he found it. There's another worker there that has helped us out quite a few times, and she is just amazing! I want to say her name is Monique, but if I am wrong, I apologize. She noticed my boyfriend and I looking at the items in the showcase and immediately came up to us to ask if we wanted to see anything. She just had so much patience, her attitude was positive, she didn't rush me, and she was very friendly. She was the same staff member that helped us when we first went in to the store for the $0.99 deal. She took the time to set up both of our devices and explained thoroughly on how to use it / change out the coil. I really like that they have a point system on purchases and that you can get a discount after completing the survey on the receipts. There's lots of parking, and I like the fact that they're open late. So far, on my journey to quitting cigarettes, vaping has helped me a lot. I haven't quit cigarettes entirely, but I have cut back immensely. Normally, I would smoke 7-10 cigarettes a day. Now, I probably only smoke 1-3 a day. read more

I like this location not only because its close to where I live but because I have not had an issue when coming here. I know exactly what I'm looking for and I tell the sales associate and I'm usually in and out in less than 10 minutes. I love this company and just the service i got for the product was a let down. I came in to this location since we were in the area and we never been to this one prepared to buy a few juices since I ran out and the whole time I felt rushed and there was only 1 other person in the store. I ended up picking a strawberry waternelon flavor since it smelt good but it burnt so quickly and bad while vaping. I only got the 1 bottle since the service was bad but now I am at my normal location to get another bottle to replace this crappy one since they dont do returns or exchanges. Plus I dont know why he needed to check both my husband and I's military ID when I clearly had one and he already showed ID that he was over 21 and we didnt even get the discount. I purchased a rechargeable disposable vape that burned out after 5 hits. I did not have time to come back righ after I purchased it so I came in shortly after the store opened the following day. I understand why there is a strict "no returns or exchange policy. However, for an item that did not last for more than 5 minutes, I would think an exception would be made. Until this point, I have frequented this shop and reccommended it to my friends. When I spoke with an employee at the store I told him what I had purchased and before I could explain the issue, he already knew what it was. He followed up by saying that these vapes do this often and this is why he no longer purchases them personally. This tells me that it is a known issue at least for this employee yet they continue to sell these faulty products. Without offering refunds and selling faulty products, I consider this at the very least a terrible business practice and at the most, extortion. I will not be shopping at this location or any other Volcano Ecig shops and I will reccommend against shopping there for the same reasons. Let me just follow up by saying that this review is not a knock against the employees whom were always very friendly and helpful. Agree with last comment from jasmine same thing happened with me....However for me it was some guy. I always get a weird look and I ALWAYS get carded. I gotten carded more here than foodland when I was a smoker!!!! Cmon man i am 47. I know I look young :-) but damn. I asked about liquids they were too busy talking to someone at the ecig bar. No idea how much anything is and it seems like a task for them to tell me. I just more less order online from volcano better customer service from my computer. I need to cut back on smoking cigarettes so I was pointed in the direction of vaping. I frequent the Ala Moana and Kapahulu location but I recently moved to Ewa. I found this place while checking out Kountry Cafe next door. Decided to walk inside to check out the place. First things first, this place is a decent size. They have a bar area to sit and some tables as well. They have a vape mix bar. Which is pretty cool. The first one I have ever seen !! I needed a new flavor cause I was getting sick of the same old Chocolate and Vanilla pairing. I wanted something sweet and candy tasting. The guy there (wish I got his name) was very helpful. He recommended a flavor that he custom made ... I believe it was strawberry, banana and something else . I smelt it and was immediately in love. I had him whip up a bottle of it right then and there. This is the third time my fam and i have gone to this location the first time the lady sold my brother the wrong coil kit for his mod n since they dont do exchanges or refunds he had to go back and purchase the correct kit and keep the one that didnt even work with his mod. My husband and i went back and got a mamasan liquid from them on a separate visit recently and i changed my coil and used my new liquid but it had a weird taste thinking maybe there was something wrong with my mod i used my other one and same thing the liquid taste like its been watered down or something will definetly not be going back to this location again. Before I write my review, I was initially happy with this place in regards to purchasing my supplies until today. I went into the store with my brother-in-law (Who was 20 but not 21) and was about to purchase my supplies until I was told they could not help me. I asked why and their response was because he was under 21 and was recorded on camera. The supplies is not for him nor was there any signs on the outside of the store stating anything about denying service for being with someone under 21. I then sent my brother (we are two different people, mind you) into the store since he is older than 21, not with our brother-in-law and was still denied service. I have been a 4 year member with this store and will no longer be purchasing from them again. Thanks. read more
