Where do I start? Cal Net bought out Internet Planet and promised more bandwidth and charged more…read moremoney. During the six weeks we had them as our provider we had down time with no service for 5-6 hours daily between 9 am and 6 pm on average on most days. I kept a log of how many times I called for technical help; it was 22 times in six weeks! The on call technician always told me that they showed no problem on their end but someone would call me back to further investigate. Only once was I called back and they were unable to provide us with a connection. Too much frustration for a household with kids trying to do homework and people just trying to rely on a consistent service. It was a happy day when I cancelled. We ended up going with Starlink for less money and have had zero issues since.

Recently, we called to ask for a quick issue with one of our phone lines. A tech called us back and told us to push a button to solve the problem. It did. I received a bill for $150 for a one minute call. I was shocked. I asked the company if there was a mistake but they said that was their standard rate for any call. I informed them that we were not told of this rate when we called. They stated that when we were on hold, the message on hold tells about the minimum rate. I stated that I did not listen to their message on hold. I asked for a discount for the call and they were not able to offer any help. It was my fault I did not hear the message. At no time did the tech before he helped discuss his rate either. I believe this is very poor customer service and deceitfulness.

Having some camera installation background myself I was completely amazed with their work and what they had completed at our apt complex. The apt manage allowed me to see the finished product on their security monitors and everything looked great!
