BIG SHOUT OUT MS. RUTHY AND MS. DIAZ !!! Anyways, Attending…read moreUEI Huntington Park was one of the most important decisions I've ever made, and I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without Ms. Yvonne Diaz and Ms. Ruthy Rodriguez. They changed my life in ways they will probably never fully understand. From the moment I walked into admissions, Ruthy made me feel seen, heard, and capable. She pushed me to believe in myself when I didn't. She reminded me of my worth, encouraged me through every doubt, and kept her door open for me every single time I needed support. She made me feel like my dream of entering the healthcare field wasn't just possible--it was meant for me. I will always be grateful for that. Ms. Diaz was the instructor every student dreams of having. Her patience, kindness, and dedication never failed. She believed in me on the days I struggled and taught me everything I needed to know to walk confidently into my externship. Because of her, I didn't just show up--I succeeded. Thanks to these two incredible women, I graduated with honors, earned an Ambassador medal, passed my NHA certification, and I am now working full time at one of the best hospitals in California with world-renowned surgeons. I am proud, I am certified, and above all, I am happy. And it's because they helped me become the version of myself I always wanted to be. My experience at UEI Huntington Park was amazing overall, but I do want to respectfully mention one thing I wish had been different: the Career Services Center. The support I received was very underwhelming, and the communication, at least in my experience, did not meet my expectations. I felt like to them I was just a number and not a future healthcare worker. I actually found my own externship site, not my career service rep, which was disappointing considering what students are told to expect. And when they finally did give me a site less than 2 weeks before I was supposed to go off to externship it was a 2 star clinic 20 miles away from me. Even with that, I am forever thankful for the people who truly showed up for me. Ms. Diaz and Ms. Ruthy, you helped me change my life, and I will never forget that.

Leave a message if it's important. What kind of professional are you? I bet you get a good commission from taking peoples money... Glad I looked into other colleges before signing up with UEI. You should feel ashamed of the way you try to get people to sign up just for your bank account to grow.

She assisted me through every step of the law school process and was available whenever I needed her, whether it to answer a quick question or help me with personal statements, or other supplemental materials. The law school application process is not only arduous, but confusing, and I truly did not know the extent of the help I needed until I started working with Jennifer. I cannot sing higher praises of not only Jennifer's knowledge of the application process but of law school as a whole. There are so many particulars that I never would have known without her guidance and I am confident that the scholarships and admissions I received would not have been nearly as expansive without her help. If you are considering a law school consultant, are confused about the post LSAT law school process, or even if you're just looking to apply to law school go with Blackacre Prep. The price was more than fair for all time, energy, constant communication and dedication to their clients' success'. I highly highly recommend them and specifically Jennifer.

I specifically worked with Jennifer from Blackacre Prep. Her advice, personalized attention and flexibility were truly exceptional. Jennifer helped me from the get-go during our free consultation. As a re-applicant, I was nervous going into the application process again. Even during that first phone call, she illuminated certain aspects of my application and LSAT prep that I had not considered before, helping me feel more confident about re-applying. After that phone call, I decided the best course for me was a-la-carte consulting, in order to work on a few aspects of my application. Jennifer helped me navigate the process of re-applying. In particular, she helped me update my personal statement, resume, scholarship essays, and other application components. I believe her careful attention to detail brought my application to another level. The most valuable aspect of working with Jennifer was her ability to help me stay focused on my voice in the application process. Through her guidance, I was able to hone in on my future goals as an attorney and better express how my experiences had prepared me for law school. I also especially appreciated Jennifer's flexibility and ability to thoughtfully answer all of my questions, whether about the timing of my application or about including addenda. She was always quick to respond and provide me answers to my most specific questions - even during busy holiday times! If you are looking to work with a consultant that truly cares about your application, look no further than Blackacre Prep. I cannot recommend them, and especially Jennifer, enough!

My first one attended here starting at 3 months old until he was 5yrs and made lifelong childhood friends. All the teachers here are very kind, caring, supportive and professional. My son transitioned through all the classrooms with Ms. Brenda, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Maribel, Ms. Sky and Ms. Maria and had a wonderful experience with each one and still remembers them all. They genuinely care and we shared a lot of milestones here from crawling, walking, potty training and all the way to basic reading, writing and learning math. When I started my second son at 1yo, they also easily helped him adjust with the new environment and the schedule within days. They run a very structured program, which we like and always include learning language, reading, math, art, music and other activities. We also really like how they provided a fun summer program for the kids. My eldest was very well prepared academically and socially for Kindergarten after aging out of this learning center. Ms. Ana, the director, is wonderful and also very understanding. She's always on top of things, communicates any immediate concerns and always provides good support to us working parents and the kids. We truly appreciate this school, their teachers and our overall experience here have been a big blessing to our family.

I appreciate the healthy/variety of food and snacks provided while being mindful of high allergic foods. I also like the different activities they schedule each day with the kids. His teachers Kim, Maribel, sky and Melissa to name a few are very sweet and nice - they have shown lots of care and kindness towards my little guy. They have talked to me about baby's day to day behavior and I have felt comfortable to bring up questions/concerns as well. I hope they keep up the amazing job and my baby Joey keeps going to this facility.

LITTLE GIRL: So am I! I like to make videos and put them on YouTube! ME: You do? I watched some of the videos on your organization's YouTube channel. Maybe I watched one of the videos that you produced :) At this point I've already seen a good amount of the facility. Basic field lights for filming with white reflectors, c-stands, and cameras that looked as nice as the Panasonic HVX I was operating. I'm not surprised that this girl who is younger than my niece has created something amazing in the profession that I'm in. That's what A Place Called Home is all about. Teaching super-awesome creative skills with actual hands on experience to at-risk youth. Or at least that's what I got out of it for the tiny 4 hours I spent there. This non-profit organization can be better explained here: http://www.apch.org/about.php So why was I there? I was shooting coverage of the band Glitch Mob who was visiting the kids to teach them about music. (VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0N3fhwGxJM&feature=share&list=PLD77A27A19BFC23F3) This facility already had essential tools to create amazing things: Keyboards, guitars, and other instruments. Computers with Pro Tools software. Sound mixing boards. A full functioning recording studio. And guess what? These kids have the creative freedom to play with it all! After Glitch Mob taught the kids a few cool tricks of the trade, the kids got to show off their talents to the working professionals. Kids free-style rapped, sang songs, played videos that were uploaded, and played tracks that were recorded and mixed. They're stuff was GOOD! I was bobbin' my head to it! It looked like Glitch Mob loved spending time with the kids! They even asked the kids for demos to take with them! Mad props to Sabrina who organized today's event! She is the music instructor and studio engineer at APCH. What she does for these kids is provide them with the opportunity to do great things that will help shape their futures. Major HIGH FIVES to that!!! This organization seems like a really cool safe haven for kids. And these kids are eager to learn cool things from people that do cool things. If you consider yourself awesome and wanna share your mad skillz with a bunch of fun kids, check out A Place Called Home. Here's a cute photo of Glitch Mob with the kids: http://flic.kr/p/8RYrVd Video soon to come...
