We are so grateful to this school and I'm so glad both my sons were able to attend Childtime of Commerce. My first one attended here starting at 3 months old until he was 5yrs and made lifelong childhood friends. All the teachers here are very kind, caring, supportive and professional. My son transitioned through all the classrooms with Ms. Brenda, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Maribel, Ms. Sky and Ms. Maria and had a wonderful experience with each one and still remembers them all. They genuinely care and we shared a lot of milestones here from crawling, walking, potty training and all the way to basic reading, writing and learning math. When I started my second son at 1yo, they also easily helped him adjust with the new environment and the schedule within days. They run a very structured program, which we like and always include learning language, reading, math, art, music and other activities. We also really like how they provided a fun summer program for the kids. My eldest was very well prepared academically and socially for Kindergarten after aging out of this learning center. Ms. Ana, the director, is wonderful and also very understanding. She's always on top of things, communicates any immediate concerns and always provides good support to us working parents and the kids. My toddler has been attending this daycare for 5months now and I've had a great experience so far. My baby comes from a different daycare that did not provide meals or daily updates yet was more expensive and I couldn't be happier with the constant communication from his teachers besides the ability to watch him live from work. I appreciate the healthy/variety of food and snacks provided while being mindful of high allergic foods. I also like the different activities they schedule each day with the kids. His teachers Kim, Maribel, sky and Melissa to name a few are very sweet and nice - they have shown lots of care and kindness towards my little guy. They have talked to me about baby's day to day behavior and I have felt comfortable to bring up questions/concerns as well. We've had the BEST experience with Childtime Commerce for both of our boys, who started at 1.5 and 3.5 years old. The teachers here are absolutely amazing--most of them have been with the school for years, and it shows. They are highly qualified, professional, and always took the time to address any questions or concerns I had as a parent. What stood out most was how genuinely caring and nurturing they were with our boys. They created a warm, safe, and fun environment while also having such a great learning structure and format for the kids to grow. We only transitioned out because we needed a location closer to home, but we still use their Flex Pass program whenever we can--that's how much we value this school. I can't recommend Childtime Commerce enough for families looking for a place where their children will be cared for and truly thrive. Highly recommend if this is an option for you. read more

For the sake of your child, Please do not bring your child here! This place looks like you're checking in to visit an inmate or something. It's not welcoming at all. Poor customer service from the director. But the staff sure take the cake. They are NOT competent to handle children. They let kids do what they want. They don't include the whole class to participate. They don't teach them anything. As it is, they are hardly being supervised. No encouragement from them either towards the children. Children are getting hurt and staff won't notify you when it happens or in the event a child bullies another. My son was constantly bullied by a child, bitten and slapped. Yet the staff did not contact me. Poor communication between staff. My 2.5 y/o son was terrified to go. Not to mention the disgusting and poor quality of food they serve these kids. Completely unacceptable! You are not allowed to pack lunch nor water for your child. My son only attended for a week and a half. I have deep regret bringing my son here. I wanted to share my story and ask for help. I recently removed my son from childtime. Due to one of the teachers putting hands on my child. I talked to the assistant director because the director was not there. I saw this over the app when the cameras were recording. I have been trying to contact child time customer service with no luck. I tried reaching out to the director about what happened and she never responded but dropped my son from the app. I told her I wanted to pick up his belongings as well. But it seems like the staff here is pretty good at hiding and denying truths. The whole staff covered their backs and denied the whole situation when there is cameras and I would never lie about what i saw, and believe me I saw neglect towards my son because he is bad according to them. He is only 3 and he does have a lot of energy, which reminds me isn't the staff educated on child development? and their behavior !?? If something was off why not work with my son? But instead discriminate him and neglect him from the rest because he was bad. It is so disappointing how people are getting away with child abuse and getting away with it. And the other teacher yells at the children. Do not bring your children here and if they are here check the cameras and record it when you see something off because they will delete the videos. The director Ms. Ana is very attentive and will address any concerns. Plenty of parking. Healthy food choices. They have a great kids summer camp program, even for the Twos Classroom. Fun activities. Water Play. The building is safe, you enter with your passcode. Easy drop/off pick up. You are allowed to celebrate your child's birthday in the classroom. I was scheduled for a virtual tour this morning and nobody showed. I called the number and was told the director was not in today and they would call me later. I rcvd a call and was told the internet was down so they were not able to do a virtual tour but could give me info over the phone. She gave me the price and asked if i wanted to be placed on a waiting list. When i spoke to a representative yesterday they said they had spots open. The call was not very informative nor did it make me comfortable that they were so unorganized they couldn't keep an appointment or at least notify me. In 2015, I was in desperate need of a daycare/school for my 4 month old son. I was in waiting list at two locations. I wanted something between work and home. I decide to drive by Childtime...come to find out I knew Ana Fragoso from previous daycare...automatically I felt a sense of relief because there was familiar face. Sigh! While we smiled and greeted one another, Ana gave me a tour of each room (baby toddler, twos, pre-school and a Kinder room) provided me on how they transition kids to the other room. Each class has weekly goals on which each kid will learn/master. Facility: was/is very clean. Smells clean. Cozy. Decorations were on point. Kid and family friendly environment. Staff: very friendly and courteous. Professional. Kind. Watching them interact with the babies and kids was amazing. Like a tia (aunt) watching your kids. Loving. Sensible. Caring of the babies and kids needs. Husband and I decided to put our son at Childtime, he was about 4 months old. His transitions were very practical and kind-hearted. My son was with Childtime up until early August 2021. He thrived. Learned so much. The teachers loved my son. My son now attends public school, 1.5 months at a new school and teacher. Last week was 1st parent conference with my son's teacher. His teacher said he is above average and is doing very well in his class. He is a helper and take his responsibilities seriously. He helps his friends learn his sight words. He is able to identify his numbers (1-25), all ABC sounds and letters and knows the 15 sight words that were introduced a month ago. Knew all his shapes even the ones that are not the easiest...rhombus. He is able to read short and simple sentences. He is able to write his name and last. He is confident. He is friendly and kind to others. We want to thank you for all the support and love that my son received in every classroom at Childtime.  Best decision for us. read more

I had scheduled a virtual tour , I was there waiting for someone to show up 30 mins later I call and the lady on the phone stated the iPad was down. I asked well why didn't you reach me instead? She kept saying no one does virtual tours so she wasn't thinking anyone would schedule one. She lacked the knowledge of the program, she kept telling me if my son has so many allergies why enroll to try a different daycare or no daycare at all. She was unprofessional over the phone kept yawning. As a first time mom who's returning back to work , this was a horrible experience. Due to this incident I don't feel comfortable looking for a daycare and prefer to be stay at home. Not impressed with my visit to this school and would not trust them to care for my children if they cannot even keep an appointment. The location is in the middle of a very industrial area in a shopping center. This did not bother me, but upon entering the facility it seemed like this place has seen better days. It's a little dreary and dated. At least from the limited area I was allowed to see. Not what I was expecting for a place for young children. One would think a daycare would be a bright and happy area, but this is not the case here. The staff was unorganized and did not seem to expect my visit even though I made an appointment. Then to top it all off, I was told I would not be given a tour because of the measles outbreak fear. WTF??? Don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling any policy that would protect the children from health concerns, but I've visited other facilities that had the same protective measures, however, at least they had windows where I was able to take a peek at their classrooms and how the teachers interact with the children. Why would you schedule a tour and then not give a tour? Does that make any sense at all? So first of all as you see in this picture it was taken at 10 am I took her to school in white sweats she told me she had an accident so changed her to the pink pants . And she then told me she had a second accident but it was a small one . As I pick her up it's 2:30 pm and I have pictures of that too . She was still in these same pink leggings left like this from 10-2 pm four hours !!!! She sent me this picture of her playing at 10 am that's how I found out , when I picked her up her leggings were already dry damped and she smelled like pee . How uncomfortable must have that been !! I then confronted her next day she told me she never told me she had a second accident ! Why would I lie about this ?? Another big ALERT my daughter proceeds to tell me she got hit in her knees by her ! ! When my mom picked her up the last day she attended here she kept pointing at her ear and saying ouch my family asked her if someone pulled her ear she said yes ! We had an amazing experience with this school. My daughter was well taken care of when I had to return to work when she was 1 1/2 until she was 3 1/2. She was loved, nurtured and cared for by every single staff member and teacher. Especially Teachers: Maria, Brenda, Maribel, Mayra, Tammy, And Susan. Everyone is great here. We were sad to move recently and have to move her to another school. I highly recommend childtime. They are on top of everything and you can keep track of your child's daily activities through their app. The building is safe and secure with passcode as well as cameras with monitors. I want to start off by saying that the teachers that I had the pleasure of meeting were very loving and patient. Ms. Sina, Ms. Rosie, Ms.Tanya, and Ms. Maira were all very good with the kids. The problem that I have with the school is that it does not appear to be very safe. It also seems like they are a bit understaffed. 1. On my daughter's first day I stayed to observe the classroom. I stepped out to sign my daughter in. While I was signing her in a parent didn't shut the door properly and my daughter walked out into the hallway with out the teacher noticing. Luckily I was there and another teacher Ms. Tammy was walking by and helped her back into the classroom. How ever the teacher that was watching her at the time did not notice until I mentioned it. I brought it up to the director. (None of the teachers that I mention were there during the first incident.) 2. My brother in law picked her up a couple of times. The administrators which are Ms. Staicy and Ms. Anna did not bother looking at his id the first time. Luckily Ms. Sina did ask for and ID before letting her out with him. 3. On one occasion when I picked her up, the kids were getting up from nap time and there were some heavy duty scissors on the table right at the reach of kids. Ms. Staicy walked in a couple of seconds later looking for them and I pointed them out to them. 4. They lost my daughter's eyedrop medicine. 5. This was for me the last straw, picture day was on October 30 2019. My daughter did not come out in the group picture. Now what was odd about that, is that neither Ms. Staicy or Ms. Cindy noticed this when they showed me the picture. Ms. Anna called me later that day to tell me she had just gotten information that my daughter did not come out in any class picture. When I asked her teacher which at the time was Ms. Tanya she told me that Ms. Tanya was fixing my daughters shoes when Ms. Maira walked in and she THINKS that's when my daughtee walked out. That's where I have the problem, she did not notice that my daughter walked out and even during class picture she did not notice that my daughter was not there. Luckily my daughter walked out to the play area and was with another teacher. At that point we decided that it was no longer safe to keep her there since parents can come and go as they please and the administrators are not always in the front, so if she would have left the school I don't know until when they would have noticed. I was very appreciative that the teacher was at least honest with me. When we spoke to Ms. Staicy and Ms. Anna they had a completely different story that did not add up and they kept changing little peaces of the story. So once again most of the teachers here are great they are very loving and caring. I am glad that my daughter had her first year there with Ms. Sina, Ms.Rosie, and Ms.Maira because they were very attentive. read more

My son was only hear for a couple of months (we live about 50 minutes way in traffic so decided to move him somewhere closer), but it was a great experience. He was happy when we dropped him off and picked him up, and the staff were kind , caring and responsive. The director, Ana, is very helpful and seems to really care about the kids and parents. I called Childtime of Commerce to enroll my son in a toddler program. I was told to schedule a tour through their website, which I did. I took a day off of work and drove 45 minutes (each way) to visit the facility for my tour. However, when I arrived, I was told to come back three hours later --and three hours after my scheduled tour --because no one was available to give me a tour. They did not accommodate me at all, and the whole experience was a terrible inconvenience. I would not trust this facility to care for my child if they cannot keep a simple appointment. It makes me wonder whether the facility is sufficiently staffed. I hope others have a better experience, but I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

We LOVE Childtime in Commerce! My son has been going here for the last 10 months. He started in the infant room and transitioned to the Beginning Steps Class. As a first time parent, it was important for me to find a daycare I felt comfortable with and after doing my research and visiting lots of other centers - this was the right one! Teachers: My son loves Miss Staicy. She is very nurturing and helps my son on the days he needs a little extra TLC. Miss Yentle is also very kind. Miss Maribel is great at observing my son's behaviors. They are always open to talking about my child whenever I ask specific questions (which is a lot). Cleanliness: The best part about this school is that when they change diapers they are very clean. Teachers wear gloves, put a clean sheet under each child and disinfect the area after each child. I never saw this happen at other daycares I visited. Also, in the infant room, everyone needs to wear booties on top of their shoes since the babies crawl around everywhere. Communication: Everyday I receive a daily update on my child's activities, his diaper changes, naps and meals (which they provide). Not every school sends home such a detailed report but I value this because it helps me predict my child's naps and meals once he gets home. The school calls us right away if our son has a fever or if he gets a little boo boo. They are very good at communicating everything to us. Location: Very convenient by 710 and 5 FWYS. A SECURE location with a pin code lock for the door. Also a computerized login for signing children in and out. Price: Same price as you would find in Downtown LA. I wish it would be comparable to residential areas but I guess this is the price you pay for premium service and security. You can also pay online - very convenient. Hours: till 6PM - I wish it was till 6:30PM but at least it forces me to come home early from work. Just a Few Amazing Things He's Learned I thought worth noting: He sang Happy Birthday to me and I had no idea he even knew the song! He's learned to clean up his toys at school and now he does it at home too. He has learned to eat at a table with a spoon and knows that for mealtime you must be seated at the table. Words cannot express how happy I am with Childtime and teacher Maria. She is a true definition of what a teacher should be. She is patient, compassionate and truly cares for the children. My son was attending a private Christian school in Santa Fe Springs for a couple of months and they were horrible with him, anytime he didn't listen or acted up they would call me to pick him up every time. They were constantly asking me for tips to deal with my child. Teacher Maria on the other hand has given me guidance on what to do when my son acts out. She has suggested certain activities to do with him to help express his emotions. At Childtime, the staff cares for the children and works with them, they just really care. Putting my son in this school was the best decision ever! I highly recommend them. When our daughter turned 2, we desperately needed to find a reliable childcare center. As first time parents, we were reluctant to place our little princess into the hands of those outside of our family members; however, knew that we would need to be open-minded about doing so in order to allow our daughter to gain many of the skills she possesses today. We were actually referred to Childtime through a friend/co-worker who had a daughter enrolled in the center. After taking a tour of the childcare facility and meeting the staff, we decided to give it a try. At the time of enrollment, our child was not fully potty trained, but literally after a few weeks of attendance, we found it unnecessary to purchase anymore pull-ups! It was incredible! We continued to watch our daughter grow as she transitioned from the early learners class up until the pre-k classroom. The main teachers for those classes, Ms. Prima and Ms. Karina were incredible. They are truly passionate about teaching their students and made a great impact on our daughter's social, emotional, and educational skills. Our daughter enjoyed being teacher's helper, learning various things like her letters, shapes, and numbers, and truly found herself loving these staff members who reciprocated that love and care for her. We have recently moved on to enrolling our child in a transitional kindergarten and really miss being greeted by the friendly staff members (Lorraine, Lisa, Prima, Karina...to name a few). The teachers at her new school already exclaimed that they believe our child is advanced for her age, and we can't help but feel gratitude towards Childtime for setting her off on this path. I've recently enrolled my 3 year old in Ms.Maggie's class/daycare. It's been a great experience since the very beginning. The director Ms.Ana and her Assistant answered all of answers, as concerned new parents. Rules are simple to follow b/c once your kid starts and you're on your way to out, you feel a sense of relief. I love the environment and I'm so grateful for the staff members so ask Ms. Ana, Ms.Sidney and Ms.Maggie the questions you have and check out the school. If you know anything about early childhood, then this is not the place for you. The American Pediatric Association recommends back to sleep without blankets and pillows; however, this place does not follow these recommendations. The cribs are always empty and are NEVER used. You will see infants put to sleep on a mattress or blanket behind a bookshelf, (out of view from the camera). Infants are put to sleep on Boppy pillows! yes, BOPPY PILLOWS! Mind you, they have huge labels on them that say NOT FOR SLEEPING. All behavior is a form of communication. There is NO REASON any infant should be left to cry for several minutes at a time. I have personally observed a infant unable to lift her head in tummy time crying while face down on the floor. If any infant cries, they should receive some form of adult repositioning and redirection. You will also see the classroom teachers interacting more with the crawlers and walkers rather than the poor babies who can't even lift their heads. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There's a reason it has a short waitlist of 1-2months while other places have a waitlist of 1-3years. From a Disappointed parent who used to have their kid in the infant room. read more

We have had a very good experience with the school and the teachers are very loving and caring towards the children. My daughter has learned a lot since she has been going and will continue to learn here. I have a peace of mind as I drop off my kids everyday knowing that Ms. Ana (the director) runs a wonderful facility with caring, loving and uplifting staff members. This place gives me the creeps. Maybe the problem is the way in which it is run. Steer clear. It is not child friendly.

I hate the place. The school lunches are microwaved with the plastic on it so it makes school lunches even more unhealthy. It has a lot of calories. There are a bunch of other classes, and they are learning nothing compared to the kids who are learning Chinese. Even if it weren't compared to them, I still think those other kids aren't learning much. They won't let kids have chocolate because the other kids who go to Broadway over the grade of second grade are fat, so the whole school can't have chocolate. The English teacher doesn't teach them anything, which I noticed watching the English class. The only time those kids learn anything is when they are in the Chinese class. Zimmer - the guy in charge, wanted to move the school to Marina Delray. That was dumb. The cafeteria always smells bad because they make bad school lunches. That lunch room also isn't decorated nicely at all. It's a peach color, and it looks terrible. On the outside it looks trashy because there are too many signs. It looks terrible, and the English teacher is also really mean to the parents at times too. I hate the school. I don't recommend it to anyone unless they like that. read more

My kids and I love childtime! I've been coming here for a little over 6 years. My sister came here for 4 1/2 years and my kids have been coming here for 2 years. This is a very well structured daycare. They really provide a wonderful level of care for your child and get them fully prepared for school. Both my children came here as newborns and I couldn't be happier with all the love and attention my kids get. My 2 year old is learning how to use the potty and my 1 year old is being taught how to walk. They also feed them only healthy yummy food. What more could a mother want? I was nervous about our daughter going to daycare when she was only 5 months old. She's been at Childtime in Commerce for the past four months and we are so very grateful we found them. She is excited and happy when we get to the school and she waves and smiles at everyone she sees. They go way above and beyond with creative activities and experiences for the children. We are really kept in the loop about her through the "precious status" app which is marvelous and lets us know everything she is doing and we even get photos. My daughter has been attending Childtime in Commerce for just about 9 months now. We have had nothing but great experiences here. She is currently in the baby room about to transition over to the next class and her teachers are absolutely outstanding. We are very confident that our daughter is in good hands when she is at daycare. Our daughter loves her teachers which is a good sign that they are treating her well. Food is provided and it always seems well balanced. Communication is top notch as well. They use an app called Precioustatus that gives us live updates on pretty much everything throughout the day (diaper changes, food, naps, pictures of activities, etc). Even at her young age, we can tell that she has learned a lot while at daycare. All in all, her teachers have done an amazing job and we couldn't be happier with our experience here at Childtime. Can't say enough good things about this place. Lovely people, safe, clean, attentive, professional, great environment for our daughter. We sadly had to leave because we moved too far away but it was only that that could have taken us away, we and our daughter Mila, who started at 6 months old, all loved it. She would start bouncing with excitement just being in the parking lot and realizing she was about to start her day there. And we always felt 100% comfortable and solid knowing she was in good trusted hands there. The infant room is delightful, sunny, clean and open, and well appointed with tasteful toys and a crib for each baby. There are all sorts of wonderful touches, the artwork and activities, and the teachers, Jesenia and Lupe in our case, could not be sweeter or more professional. Ana the director is extremely kind and attentive to every aspect of the place, and went out of her way to be helpful to us many times. I would often arrive and peek in the window to see Mila smiling happily and being lovingly attended to by a teacher or playing with the other kids. We are admittedly finicky people who would not be comfortable leaving our child anywhere that wasn't top notch and this place truly is. Highly recommended, we miss it! read more
