I can't say enough good things about this business and about Jeni Rayle. She is everything you…read morecould want in an advocate; she is knowledgeable, she truly cares about the families she represents and she will fight for your child to recieve the services they deserve. We had spent years disappointed with our autistic son's placement in SDUSD. She helped us figure out what options he had and helped us navigate our next steps. We had our IEP meeting this week and we could not be happier with the results. I cannot thank her enough for advocating for our son! She changed his life by getting him placed in an environment where he can get the help he needs (and deserves)!

As much as we tried on our own to communicate the needs of our kids, we, at times didn't even know what we should be asking for from the school. From the first meeting, to our last meeting, Jeni was not only professional, but she cared. She knew our frustration and her experience, her kindness and patience saved our family. It opened up doors at school and saved our sanity at home. We trusted Jeni as her communication with us was always available, our questions and concerns were always answered and reassured. Jeni met each timeline and was always in contact with us and the school. She always made sure we were "in the know". Best decision we ever made!

I can't recommend Rob and Passport highly enough. Before we first spoke during the spring of my…read moreson's junior year, I met with two other potential college counselors. One was immediately negative when she saw the list of schools he was considering. She was convinced that every school on it would be a reach and seemed determined to make him, and us, be more realistic. Since then, I've had several friends describe similar experiences. During that initial conversation, my husband was listening in the background, and we agreed that while it was important to build a balanced list, we did not want our son working with someone so pessimistic or limiting. We wanted a counselor who would be on his side, who believed he had a chance, while also encouraging him to apply broadly and thoughtfully. Rob immediately brought exactly that energy. He encouraged our son to dream big and work hard on the strongest possible application, while also gently reminding him that he would be fine wherever he ended up. He was always available for advice and support and never seemed frustrated or fed up, even when our son kept changing his mind about his future course of study. When it came time to refine his essays, Rob paired him with Hannah, a talented young editor who had attended our son's dream school and offered invaluable insight into how to frame his essays. By the time he submitted his EA application, I was confident it was as strong as it could be. We were absolutely thrilled when he was accepted. Throughout a stressful process, Rob and Hannah felt like the best possible teammates, always on our son's side, which was everything I'd hoped for. I'm so grateful to have worked with them, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

After a discouraging first attempt at applying independently, Ryan's approach to helping me reapply to PA school was both reassuring and strategic. He took the time to thoroughly review my prior application, identifying areas of strength and areas for improvement. Instead of starting from scratch, he skillfully built upon what I had, refining it to highlight my strengths and address any weaknesses. I was nervous I would have to start completely from scratch after my hard work the first cycle and only having a month and a half to reapply, but Ryan recycled all my hard work to truly highlight the important things in my application. Thanks to Ryan's expertise and support, I am thrilled to say that I have been accepted into PA school. His dedication to his students' success is evident in every interaction, and I am immensely grateful for the impact he has had on my journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Ryan at Passport Admissions to anyone seeking guidance on their path to PA school.

Alexa's PLAYC is a truly special center…read more Our daughter has been there since she was 18 months. She was shy and apprehensive when she started, and has since grown into an independent, spirited, and fun-loving toddler. We are so thankful to the teachers and staff for providing our girl with a safe, welcoming place to explore and learn. There are so many things I could say, but here are a few highlights: * The teachers and staff are all highly trained on, and passionate about, early childhood education. Having come from another daycare, I can really see how Alexa's PLAYC is intentional about every element of the space. They use evidence-based philosophies, reflect constantly on what the children are exploring, and update the different spaces responsively. If the kids seem to want to explore different textures, they will document it and add more sensory materials. * There is a garden!!! It is beautifully maintained by the outdoor teacher. We love that our daughter gets to spend time in nature each week. The playgrounds are also spacious and full of enriching activities. * There is fun programming, like the weekly live music class! Because of Alexa's PLAYC's affiliation with Rady Children's Hospital, there are extra fun events sprinkled throughout the year. We had visits from a monster truck and a penguin from the zoo in the past few months. * The classrooms are mixed-age and inclusive -- meaning that our toddler has been able to make friends of all backgrounds. I believe that she's made leaps and bounds in her socialization and learning as a result. Though she was barely speaking at the time of enrollment, our daughter's language and imaginative play have since exploded. * Alexa's PLAYC's commitment to supporting children across the neurodiversity spectrum results in an incredibly supportive enviroment. For example, they are diligent about maintaining the low teacher-to-student ratio. Truly, though, words fail to describe the everyday magic that Alexa's PLAYC creates... We love seeing our daughter come home with paint on her face and dirt on her pants -- the signs of a creative mind hard at work (play)! It is so fun getting glimpses of her world at daycare. She will play guitar (in the style of the music teacher), water our plants (like she would in the garden), and proudly talk about new friends and hobbies ("I sit bicycle!"). It has been such a joy to see our daughter, and so many other children, blossom at Alexa's PLAYC.

From our very first interaction with the team at Alexa's PLAYC, we felt like we had found a place that not only understood autism and child development at a deep level, but also understood how to support families with compassion, clarity, and care. We have been at Alexa's PLAYC for about 9 months now, and we have nothing but great things to say about the administrators, teachers, and BCBAs. The staff is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They take the time to understand each child's individual needs and goals, and they do a great job tailoring the curriculum and day-to-day activities around those needs. One of the things we appreciate most is that Alexa's PLAYC truly lives out a child-led, play-based philosophy while still incorporating helpful elements of ABA in a way that feels balanced and respectful, never rigid or overbearing. We have seen real growth in our daughter, and just as importantly, we have felt supported as parents throughout the process. We also love the mixed environment of neurotypical and neurodivergent children. It creates a more natural, inclusive setting that reflects the diversity kids will experience in the real world, and it helps foster understanding, flexibility, and empathy from an early age. Finally, the team itself seems incredibly cohesive. The teachers, administrators, and BCBAs appear to genuinely like working together and support one another, which matters so much in an environment where every child may have a different set of needs and challenges. We are deeply grateful for Alexa's PLAYC and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a warm, capable, and deeply thoughtful preschool environment.

She has been invaluable to me in both my business and my personal goal attainment. I have been so impressed with what she does that I am inviting my 20-something son to work with her. He has struggled to find how to avoid errors in judgement that set him back. He is also trying to figure out a career but doesn't really have a big picture of the possibilities. He is not open to counselors and he's pretty sick of hearing from his parents. Unitive Consulting is neither. I just know that Yvette's coaching will be the breath of fresh air that will help him set new directions for himself. Highly recommended!
