I was worried about not having a referral because I didn't want to get locked into a contract or long term deal if she didn't want to stick with it. I spoke to Jim on the phone and told him want I was looking for and that I wanted my daughter to take the lead. Jim understood and was more than willing to be flexible. I immediately liked Jim and my daughter has enjoyed her lesson time with the studio. There is no pressure and it's a fun environment. My daughter wasn't sure if she wanted to continue her lessons after the first month but after working with Jim - she changed her mind - We've been with Jim since August and are looking forward to having a great time at the holiday concert and many more. We did leave briefly to try out (1yr) another well known studio with a location in Weddington and were greatly disappointed. Their instructor constantly was looking at his watch and acted as if he didn't really wish to be there. We have never experienced this at M&A. David is amazing. Not only is he patient , David gives constructive criticism that makes the student actually love playing and encourages each student to reach new heights within their craft. Well worth the time and money for both of my children.
