After only a few months of moving to CA and not having even a primary dentist, I was very scared when thinking about where to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Fortunately, I found Dr Polyakov who was very welcoming and made sure I never had any unanswered questions. During my counseltation, he explained my surgery with animated slides which was great because I am a visual learner. Meeting him reassured me that he knew what he was doing, so I recommended my sister to Dr. Polyakov and we got our wisdom teeth pulled together! This goes to show how accommodating Dr Polyakov and his staff are. The surgery and recovery process was very quick... And no dry-socket! After the surgery, Dr Polyakov called my sis and I to make sure we were ok and I was already eating (of course only soft food) later that night! Get your teeth pulled by Dr Polyakov! read more

Dr. Polyakov and his office staff are professional and extremely competent. He removed 4 of my 11 year-old daughter's permanent teeth with little pain and no complications. She was completely at ease which was amazing since she has some dental anxiety from a different Dentist. He also removed my 16 year-old daughter's wisdom teeth with no issues. The office staff are helpful and always meet any need or concern. The office runs on time with no long wait times and is extremely clean and pleasant. Dr. Polyakov spends time in the consultation clearly explaining the procedure. The recovery instructions were excellent and the gel ice pack elastic wrap for wisdom teeth icing was great! I highly recommend Dr. Polyakov for any oral surgery. read more

Dr.Polyakov is so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. I had to take all four of my wisdom teeth out and I was worried that I may get charged a ridiculous amount but I was so surprised that I got the best deal out of everyone that I've talked to around me (I have a friend who paid more to get one tooth out compared to what I paid for all four teeth). What a great deal considering he's located in a very nice office in Beverly Hills? I tend to have a hard time recovering from any minor cuts so I expected the worst with my healing process. I was so surprised at how little pain I felt after the surgery and I had a no problem going back to work after the weekend! (My procedure was on a Friday). I would highly recommend Dr.Polyakov - look no further! read more

Dr Polyakov and staff are caring, through and excellent surgeons. My 4 dental implants were painless and done swiftly. His state of the art equipment and fabulous caring staff eased all my fears. As far as I am concerned Synergy Implant and Oral Surgery is the only place to go when having implant surgery. read more

Dr. Polyakov and his team are awesome. I was referred to multiple oral surgeons and periodontists for an implant to replace a root canal in a front tooth and was told each time that I would require a "flipper" or other temporary that had to be taken out to eat for 6-9 mo during a 3 step process. I kept searching because that felt like removing my tooth to eat was antiquated and not a solution. When I walked into Synergy I felt like I had stepped into the future; Synergy is state of the art and cutting edge. The 3-D x-ray confirmed I was a candidate for a same day extraction and placement of an implant that would not be removed to eat. Two weeks later, I was back to have the tooth extracted and a permanent titanium implant was placed in the morning. By early afternoon I even had the same cap placed and the result was so similar my wife couldn't tell the difference. read more

I have been to Dr. Polyakov twice in the past few months, once to have an implant put in and the other time to get all four wisdom teeth out and another implant put in. For both procedures, I was absolutely terrified, however, they both went by quickly and painlessly! I have never enjoyed going to the dentist until I visited Dr. Polyakov's office. When you walk in, you are treated as if you were family. For both of my appointments combined, my wait time was less than five minutes. Once inside, I was very surprised by the technology used. I was shown how both procedures would be done through an interactive computer program, which definitely calmed my nerves a bit and answered many of my questions. During the actual procedures themselves, both the Dr. and the staff asked me numerous times how I was feeling and if I was in pain (wish I wasn't). It was very comforting knowing that my comfort level wasn't forgotten about while they were doing the surgery. The first implant I had put in took less than half an hour, and my second procedure of getting my wisdom teeth out and another implant put in took less than 45 minutes. I would definitely say I was more afraid about the healing process than the actual surgery because I had heard from many people that there will be bleeding for many days, and soreness for weeks, however, it has been 2 weeks since my second procedure and I can confidently say I am all healed and pain free. read more

I'm the type of patient who fears walking through a dental practice... Today, all four of my wisdom teeth were extracted. The moment I sat in the chair, DR Polyakov kept cracking joke after joke and even spoke of his children for a moment. I've never said this before, but my entire experience was surprisingly pleasant. He shared plenty of smiles and laughs, I really just felt comfortable. His entire staff also share a similar joyous persona, also incredibly attentive, patient and caring. Before I knew it, the procedure was done. I'm very pleased with his work and highly recommend others to trust in his work. You get what you pay for! read more

I am one of those people who is very afraid of dentists all together so when the time came for me to have my wisdom teeth pulled I spent a really long time looking for the right oral surgeon. Dr Polyakov and the office stuff made a very unpleasant procedure not only bearable but they turned my frown upside down... Dr Polyakov managed to help me to conquer my fear and I trust him not only with my teeth, but also with my children teeth and my parents teeth. read more

Looking for oral surgeon? Dr. Polyakov is the best! I took out my wisdom teeth recently and it was beautiful!! All my friends told me they had pain during or after surgery. Also, they had swollen face for awhile! But! Dr. Polyakov and his staff made me comfortable during surgery and did not give any pain!! I wasn't bleeding long time as other ppl, who had surgery at other places, and didn't have swollen face. No body noticed it. My friends thought I was jocking .kk. My general dentist told me he couldn't do it and I would have lots of pain and swollen face for awhile, even though he was famous. So~you can see Dr, Polyakov was very VERY~good! Thank you, Dr. Polyakov. And his staffs! Hope I can help others who are looking for good oral surgeon. I bet you will like him! read more

Highly recommend Dr. Polyakov and his stellar team over at Synergy Dental! Here is my story: I had been putting off getting all four wisdom teeth pulled for quite awhile. Finally in my mid 30's I decided to do it. After researching reviews on Yelp to help with my search for the best oral surgeon I could find, I came across Dr. Polyakov's Synergy Dental Beverly Hills. Luckily they took my insurance and scheduled me in for a consultation at my earliest request. The office is in a premiere location in BHills, and the office itself is beautifully appointed, spotless, and with the best staff I've ever experienced at a dental office. Everything from the service to the office and expertise of Dr. Polyakov was high-end and I'd highly recommend to anyone! During the consultation, I was still extremely nervous about the procedure, but the associate was very patient with me, answered every question I had, and made sure I fully understood the procedure. She assured me Dr. Polyakov has been doing these routine surgeries for many years, and they do this all day there in that office, which when put into that perspective, made me feel alot more comfortable. They showed me a video simulation of the procedure so you fully understand what they do which was helpful. I was able to schedule my extractions a week later on a Friday and everything went smoothly. I went home and carefully followed the instructions and my husband took great care of me. Miraculously, my face didn't even swell at all! I went back for my follow up two weeks later and everything was in order. One of my impacted bottom teeth had a deep hole which is normal when it is that impacted I guess, and I made special care to be very careful and gently keep it as clean as can be with a syringe they gave me which sprays water into the hole to make sure no food gets stuck. Overall, everything healed perfectly as I was sure to follow all instructions, and the Dr. and team made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you're afraid like I was, and need the perfect office of professionals to make you feel at ease. Thanks, Dr. Polyakov and team! read more

Referred here by primary dentist to remove all four impacted wisdom teeth. Thank God for my PPO that allowed me to see Dr.Polyakov. Super efficient and organized staff, like a well oiled machine. Everyone was nice and competent, from front office staff to specialty nurses to the doctor himself. All I know was I was scared to death but thankfully only had to do "twilight sleep" where I could breathe on my own and the next thing I knew I was in recovery and on my way home with clear post care directions. I has 3 follow up visits just because I worried about different things and the doctor saw me with no problem. If you gotta take those wisdom teeth out, get them out here with this doctor and an awesome staff. read more

We highly recommend Dr. Polyakov and his entire staff. Over the course of the last 1 1/2 years, my family has utilized his services for both dental implant surgery and wisdom teeth extraction. Each time we were greeted with a friendly and extremely capable staff. Our procedures were explained at length to each of us and we were made to feel very comfortable with all of our questions answered in detail. All three of our procedures could not have gone smoother. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Polyakov and his staff should you need oral surgery. read more

I'm ever so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Polyakov! I am in my 40's and had an impacted wisdom tooth that had started to pop through my gums just below my molar tooth. This was a tricky location, and because of my age, this was extra challenging since my teeth are less pliable. Anyway, I don't know how Dr. Polyakov did it! (And there were absolutely no complications and I only took pain medication that first day of surgery.) The entire staff at the office is wonderful - super friendly and accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

If I could give Dr. Polyakov and his staff 10 stars I would. When I was 17 I had gone to another oral surgeon to get a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. I ended up leaving even more terrified that I was when I went in. Needless to say I am 23 now and the pain in my mouth from my wisdom teeth was becoming too much to bare. I found Dr. Polyakov here on Yelp and based on the amazing reviews from others, I went in. This doctor and his staff are the nicest group of people I have ever come across. They are professional and experienced, yet unlike others they care about their patients. It is a very warm and welcoming environment from the moment you walk in the door. Nika and Rebecca at the front desk are amazing, I must have called 10 times with different questions and they were extremely helpful and welcoming to any and all questions. Any fears I had they quickly squashed with extreme support and understanding from the staff as well as Dr. Polyakov. I had all four wisdom teeth extracted in one day. When I woke up I had no Idea it was already done, I went home and waited for the pain to set in, but it never came. This doctor is a miracle worker. For how much fear I had about this procedure and the pain I would be in after, I felt silly at how normal I felt minus a little swelling. I would and have recommended this doctor to anyone in need of an oral surgeon. read more

I am the ultimate chicken in any kind of procedure involving my teeth, so the thought of removing four fully impacted wisdom teeth scared me to death. I owe Dr. Polyakov and his staff the greatest thanks for treating me with such care and patience...it is no small feat that they were actually able to calm me before the procedure! I am happy to say that he did a wonderful job and my mouth (gums?) healed nicely! read more

Thank god for this office! I had a serious issue with my wisdom teeth (which were removed by another doctor) and I woke up with one side infected. I went to a dentist down the hall and at 4:59 pm right before Dr. Polyakov's office was about to close, the dentist sent me to him. I barged in for the first time and although they were getting ready to close he examined me and offered even to do a procedure right there. The whole office was so kind and thoughtful. I opted to do the procedure the next morning and they were able to easily schedule me. After the surgery to drain my infection, it healed so quickly. Turns out the other side was also infected, but catching it early, the doctor was able to avoid going through the same surgery and drained my infection without such a production. The next day I was SO much better. They were amazing about scheduling follow up and the doctor called me personally to check in. I would have been such a mess if it weren't for them. Another example is I was cold so they brought me a blanket during my procedure!! They really care. I'm so picky. Highly recommended!!!!! read more

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and I was so terrified before the procedure. I had never been put under and I was so worried about the unknown. Dr. Polyakov explained everything to me and told me all my options. I really felt calmer and I knew 100% I would be in good hands. I went to sleep and 20 minutes later my painful wisdom teeth were gone and I was back to my normal self within a few days. When you go to this office you know you are in the best hands and the staff is so nice and calming. I really needed to be around a staff like this to ease my nerves. I now realize I had nothing to worry about and if I ever needed another dental procedure I would DEFINITELY go to Dr. Polyakov. I am so thankful I found them! read more

I got my wisdom teeth taken out here in February and overall it was a great experience. Dr. Polyakov is the Superman of wisdom tooth extraction. I'm not kidding. He extracted all four of my partial bony impactions in 10 MINUTES. After he gets them out he sews you up which is AWESOME. With the hole held shut the blood clot is pretty much snuggly trapped in there and you're pretty much safe from dry sockets. Just be smart about what you eat. The stitches took about 6 days to dissolve completely and by then I was healed up for the most part. Now it's not painless but my pain never got much worse than a moderately severe headache. I would say the worst part was when I was still numb and imagining what it would feel like once the numbing wore off. I thought it would feel like I'd been shot in the face. It didn't. The 3 main reasons why Dr. Polyakov is AWESOME: 1: He works really fast, so you're not left open and bleeding--I think this contributes to faster and less painful recovery. 2: He is really precise--for working so fast, he works really clean. He doesn't butcher your gums. He's like a brain surgeon for the mouth. 3: HE STITCHES YOU UP=slim chance of dry sockets. If you can pay for it, this is the place to go. read more

It was the most wonderful dental experience I ever had. I was greeted by Masha and she made me so comfortable while I fill out some necessary information for their records. I was then brought to another room and met Natalie. She was so nice and accommodating and told me all about the pre-surgery and also told me on how to take care of myself after surgery. I was then greeted by Dr. Polyakov who decided to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken. He was very easy to understand and very professional and he never let you feel awkward. He even gave me a tap on my should telling me that I will be okay. I eventually had my wisdom teeth removed the following week. What surprised me was that everything was so quick. They laid me on the dental chair, made me comfortable and had me relax then next thing you know they woke me up and told me that the procedure was done! I think everything was done within ~45mins. I never felt any heavy pain. I was back to my normal self. I followed all of their procedures such as taking my antibiotics, cleaning my mouth with warm salt water and they gave me a list of foods to take(they'd even gave me a sample of mac and cheese. Hahaha!) . Dr. Polyakov even called me that evening to see if I were okay. Thanks again for a wonderful experience guys! I will refer you to all of my friends and family members. read more

After 10 years of putting off getting my wisdom teeth extracted, I finally decided it was time. I wasn't having pain or discomfort but I want to get Invisalign and I knew this was the first step. I consulted with two other doctors before deciding on Dr. Polyakov. He took X-rays just as the previous doctors had but unlike the other two doctors, he suggested a ct scan and boy, I'm glad he did!! From the scan we learned that one of the teeth was wrapped around my nerve. I couldn't believe the other doctors would've gone into the surgery blind. Another tooth was so impacted that there was a possibility of a sinus infection. My other two teeth were also impacted so this wasn't going to be an easy surgery. I appreciated Dr. Polyakov's thoroughness from the initial consultation and felt confident he could get the job done. As you can imagine, I was extremely nervous on the day of my surgery but Dr. Polyakov and his staff made me feel at ease. All I remember was falling asleep for what felt like 10 minutes. When I woke up, I was sitting in a recliner with my husband staring at me. I woke up giggling and trying to text my family and friends about how it was over already. The recovery wasn't bad at all. Strong pain medication usually upsets my stomach so I was able to get by on Advil. I was back to normal (minus some swelling) after just 3 days. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Polyakov and cannot thank him enough for his experience & professionalism. read more

Had an impacted wisdom tooth removed 2 weeks ago . Thank god and to the doctor , everything went well. I wAs freaking out ... First time having surgery and hopefully the last . I didn't want to be put under .. Luckily I had the option to do local. Procedure was painless and he worked so fast to get the tooth out makes the whole process less scary.paid around 700 for the one tooth no insurance .. Pricey but risking nerve damage from bad surgery is nothing to play with . Parking sucks .. Not free . One star off cause I freaked out on nitrous twice so I just went without it . If you suffer from panic disorder and hate losing control u probably won't like it either ..felt numb and like my hear rate was dropping fast . Other than that I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have any type of oral surgery . I probably wouldn't trust anyone else . read more

I was terrified about getting my wisdom teeth taken out, but Dr. Polyakov and his team really put my fears at ease. He talked through all the steps and helped me to be better informed before the procedure. The best part was that after the surgery I was not in a lot of pain and my swelling was gone by day 3 even with my wisdom teeth being impacted. He really knows what he's doing! I would definitely recommend him. read more

Dr Michael Kosdon an amazing cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills (who I highly recommend), sent me to Dr Polyakov. I had two implants, one extraction and bone grafting and it took a little over an hour to complete! Dr. Polyakov gave me meds and I didn't even need to take them- that's how good he is! Easiest procedure ever and not painful at all! He's great at what he does and his staff is amazing! read more

FIrst, I am afraid of dentists since I was a child. My faith has been restored in the profession by the amazing job Dr. Polyakov did with a dental implant. From my first visit to the last I have never seen such a caring and professional office. All of the procedures were painless. There was no waiting when I got to the office. Every detail was explained by either Dr. Polyakov or his assistants. I even recieved flowers at my house the day after the implant! What service. I cannot say THANK YOU enough for the experience I recieved. He is a gem! read more

Okay so I hate the dentist. Had to get 7 extractions! 7! Damnit! Why me Lord? So anyway I found Dr. Polyakov via Yelp and I saw that he had nothing but 5 star reviews, so I'm like this can't be that awesome. Nobody has a good day everyday. Boy was I wrong! Office is in BH, nice design and really really upscale. Staff is extremely attractive and pleasant to boot! (Hey office boo's!) They performed my 3d X ray and had it on a huge flat screen so I could see everything they were explaining to me clearly as possible. Came back the next week to get the procedure done. As soon as I got there I was nervous as sh*t because I hate the dentist, so they gave me laughing gas to calm my nerves. It did a little something, but I guess I was more nervous about not knowing how this whole thing was gonna go down. They put the iv in my arm because I needed to be sedated. One minute I was talking to the staff and the next, I woke up with a mouth full of gauze. My face was numb so I expected pain as soon as the meds wore off, but to my surprise there was none. They told me to rotate between my prescription pain killers and advil, and I did so, but there was no pain! None! I was taking the pills cuz u was scared there may have been pain to come but none. The whole time. I healed quickly and I think this dude is awesome. Can't say enough but come here and get it done by this dude. He's like the Picasso if teeth pulling lol. Go Synergy OMS! read more

It has been nearly 4 years since my procedure and I can not stress enough how unprofessional, unethical, and rude this butcher is! I came in for a procedure to remove a minor lesion on my gums and this minor procedure turned into the worst nightmare of my life. To this day I suffer from excruciating pain and have had several complications due to his poor oral work. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars attempting to salvage my gums at this degenerates expense. I have never met such a poor mannered doctor in my life! And don't get started on his disgusting lack of bedside manner. From the second I walked into his office I felt like I was in a butcher shop. The doctor and his staff are so unprofessional that it felt like they were trying to sell me something. From them talking crap about their patients (including myself) in their native tongue to whispering behind me to take my money, I can not stress enough to avoid this doctor at all costs. Please if you are considering going to see this butcher (for lack of a better word) PLEASE think twice! read more

Dr. P was the 2nd oral surgeon I consulted for an implant. The only reason I got a 2nd consult was because the first one (also in Beverly Hills) ended up not taking my insurance. I'm so glad that happened because as soon as Dr. P. saw my xray he noticed something that the other surgeon didn't! It was a tumor. He spent so much time to talk with me and explain everything that should be done. His office staff also spent time with me to make sure all my questions were answered. The day of the surgery, they took such great care of me. I could just see how passionate he was about his work and making sure that his patients have the best care. In addition to having the implant done, he removed a tumor that the other surgeon didn't even see, It was sent for pathology and I do need follow up care but if I hadn't gotten that 2nd opinion from him I would still have that tumor growing into my sinus. so THANK YOU Dr. Polyakov! I wish the cost had been cheaper because I'm not rich and insurance only pays so much but I really do feel that I got the absolute best care! read more

The best dental experience ever. My visit at Dr Polyakov's office couldn't have been any better and doing my oral surgery implant there overall couldn't have been better anywhere else. I was nervous to have my oral surgery that morning. However as soon as I arrived at Dr Polyakov's office, I was never given the chance to feel scared anymore. I was greeted by his office staff with smiling faces that definitely put my nerves to rest. My scheduled appointment was right on time which I love because as we all know no one likes to be in a waiting room for long. When I got into the big comfy dental chair I was already feeling relaxed by the cheerful vibe in the room by his nurses who were on top of everything that needed to be done. Professional as always Dr Polyakov entered the room as a Dr in charge and proceeded with the procedure as the pro he is. When I awakened. I couldn't believe it was over. It was quick, painless and I was happy. Couldn't believe I wasn't even swollen since a tooth was extracted. Another thing about Dr. Polyakov is that he calls you the same night after surgery and ask you how you are doing. Loved that he checked up on me. I highly and truly recommend this oral surgeon for all your dental needs. His office had all the latest technology and his work was precise. I have not been in any pain whatsoever, which I attribute to the wonderful work Dr. Polyakov did. read more

Hi everyone out there who needs to take care of their teeth but so afraid to get it done. Nobody likes to go to the dentist, myself included. But as my mom says "if you don't go to the dentist you will end up running to the dentist". And this is exactly what happened to me last week. I had a severe pain and I had to go and get two of my wisdom teeth pulled out. A procedure that was already few years past due. I had no choice. I was referred to Dr. Poliakov as a specialist by my general dentist, Dr. Omid Daniel Cohanim. From the moment my husband called the office and talked with Veronica to schedule the appointment till the post procedure phase everything went smoothly and extremely professional. I got an appointment schedule right away. When I walked in I was welcomed by a very kind and attentive front office stuff who was kind and made me feel less stressed right a way. Then the nurse Pricilia escorted me into the exam room and explained to me what is about to be done. Then Dr. Poliakov came in and explained and demonstrated the issue I had and told me the different anesthesia options (did you know you can sleep throughout the procedure?). I felt right a way that I can trust myself into his reliable hands and decided to do the procedure with injections only. The most unpleasant part was the injections, like in any dentistry procedure. The actual procedure took about 10 minutes and was easy and seemed to be pretty simple. The nurse explained everything throughout which made me feel comfortable and more relaxed. I walked down stairs right after and picked up my kids from school 3 hours later by myself. Dr Poliakov called me personally that evening to follow up and I have an appointment to go see him for a follow up in two weeks time. I sleep better at night and my mouth feels much more balanced without these teeth. I have no pain or discomfort. I do not usually have the time to sit down and write a review but I thought it is important for the well being of all of us. IN SUMMERY: I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE PROFESSIONALISM AND GREAT CARE OF DR POLIAKOV AND HIS STUFF LONG AGO. THE PROCEDURE WAS EASY AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS POSITIVE ALL TOGETHER. I URGE YOU TO GO TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH IT IS WELL WORTH IT AND MUCH EASIER THAN YOU IMAGINE ! read more
