Ok so listen up foolios: Vlad is the man. He is like the terminator of Real Estate Agents... relentless. Background: we had a condo on the 10th floor of Aqua (on Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach). This property was a hard sell because the HOA and developer where locked in protracted litigation related to some building-wide plumbing issues. This means that most traditional banks won't lend to a buyer that wanted any unit in Aqua. We hired a first broker to list unit (before Vlady 4 you!) - they failed to get any traction and after 4 months we fired them (Trump style). Then my wife discovered Vlady and we set up a meeting. I won't forget this meeting. It was at Starbucks, it was late (7PM), Vlady had arrived a little late because he got into a fender bender on the way and I had just been release from the hospital on IV meds after surviving meningitis. So needless to say we are both not having the best day. But Vlad came prepared. He knew all about the HOA/Developer law suit and had already prepared a plan of action include engaging a list of non-traditional lenders that would back any buyer interested on our property. Over the next few months Vlad worked hard to promote our property. He dealt with a boatload of strange, opportunistic buyers and even weirder brokers who were just looking to low-ball us.
