Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!

When I called 911, they told me they were the 3rd phone call they received about him. Long story short, do NOT use this company. The most impressive thing about Specialty Builders Inc., along with offering quality and value in their work, is they take the time to listen, and always clean up at the end of every day. Gary is not just a great handyman/contractor, he has truly been a godsend for me…read more I was in the process of renting out a house and had a decent list of tasks that I still needed to get done quickly, and of course as things go, more issues started to pop-up. Gary was able to fix everything not only in a timely, competent manner, but he and his painter Salvador went above and beyond to make everything look even better than I expected, at a great rate. I had Gary and Salvador help me install doorstops, replace doorknobs, fix incorrectly installed door latches, replace sinks and faucets and drains, and paint various shelves and cabinets around the house. It has been the greatest pleasure working with them both, and everyone that has seen their work (prospective tenants, property managers) have commented on how high-quality their work is. In fact, I believe that I was able to quickly rent out my house due to the work that they did. They saved me a ton of headache having to fix everything individually with different trades. I also started having Gary help me with tasks in my own house, which has continued to be a great experience. You can take a look at their paint job in my photos - they really did an amazing job. Gary from Quick Care Home Repair is beyond competent, efficient, friendly, pleasant to work with, and honest with the utmost integrity. He is incredibly talented... We honestly feel lucky we got to experience how he does business. He has set the bar so high that it's going to be hard to work with anyone else now. What made him different? Clear, consistent communication: Every evening, he gave us a recap of what was done that day and what to expect the following day and for the rest of the week. Updates during the day: He kept us in the loop while he was working (for example, letting us know when he was heading to Home Depot and when he expected to be back to finish a task). He's also just a genuinely kind and honest person. We had originally requested something very specific in our bathroom, and the tile crew made a small mistake. Gary caught it, called us that night to explain, and told us he would have his team redo it so it matched what we agreed on in our initial meeting....without us even asking. That level of integrity and pride in his work is rare. He remodeled our bathroom and bedroom, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Gary is now our go-to for anything construction-related. We contacted a few contractors, Aryan and his team responded quickly and was able to do the inspection on the same day. Aryan is very friendly and considerate during the inspection, and explained what caused the leaks in details. We decided to hire Killer Contractors not only because they provide very competitive pricing, but also because they are very responsive in answering our questions and concerns. They provided the estimate in a timely manner. It's strange some contractors were eager to come to our house to do inspection, but after that they either never contact us again or we had to call them for an estimate. Because the raining kept going until the new year and the roofing work can't start, Killer Contractors put a tarp on our roof which made us relieved Killer Contractors are very professional and efficient doing their work. The whole project took about 6 days, but the actual work only took 3 days. The extra 3 days were due to the delay in applying the permit and waiting for city inspector to be onsite. The delay was our fault because we decided to apply the permit a little bit late (and Killer Contractors had no problem with us applying the permit right before the work started). The working crew members are also very professional and friendly. They worked very hard, and they did their best to not distract us. They made sure there is no debris left in our yard and our neighbor's. Before they were done for the day, they made sure there's no nail left on our yard, driveway and street.
