The real problem is that I've had an extremely slow checkout person every time, and several times they've been so slow and inept that I've left without my purchase. Every single month, I call the pharmacy for a refill, they say they don't have it and to call the doctor, I TEXT the doctor (have all of these on file) who says Walgreens has refills, then I call Walgreens and give them the details upon which they magically find it. I have gotten texts from WAG and showed up and been told they don't have any scripts ready, just to stand there and argue for 5 minutes just for them to.... MAGICALLY FIND IT AGAIN... At the end of the day this is one of the most important service industries... if you want to worry about your health, or your scripts not getting filled, or to deal with the rudest people on earth, you'll love this Walgreens pharmacy but if you want to deal with regular pharmacists and have a stress free pharmacy experience I would recommend you go to literally any other pharmacy on earth. Small world. I would recommend everyone come in and take a gander at all the cool items, authentic American herbs and food items. She is the #1 provider of authentic Shea butter and has legit black soap. This business is a great asset to the community and Florence is active in improving the area. ...... I've been here a few times as it is so conveniently located and every time I am welcomed as if the employees are truly happy to see me. Today I was picking up some prints that I'd sent from my phone this morning (love that feature!) and as I stood at the photo counter, I watched the cashier interact with other customers. I couldn't stop watching as he chatted with customer after customer as if each of them was a neighbor of his. I didn't wait too long before someone came over to help me at the photo counter. He didn't ask me what I needed or for my name even. He asked me if I brought him lunch, I laughed and told him I had not. He shook his head and said he knew I'd forget and handed me my photos. He must have recognized me from my selfies. I shopped around a bit and found everything I needed and then checked out. Kirk has been the cashier I've had every time I've come in. He made conversation with me, like I watched him do with the other customers. Kirk really makes every customer feel like they matter to him. I messed up my pin *twice* because I'm spastic but he was patient. He and I joked about how I must not be so good with the numbers. I will take off a star for my rating because some of my pictures were cropped in a way that took some heads off and I was super disappointed about that. I don't blame the guys for that but I wish I wasn't charged for those photos. Overall I love this Walgreens and I'm happy to come back again and again.

I haven't been to a Walgreens in a while, and I was sent a reminder that my W Cash Rewards were going to expire if I didn't use some of them or make a purchase soon. I figured this was a good excuse for me to stock up on some paper goods or even some discounted holiday items, which are now 70% off including the candy. I did walk around for a bit until I found the right aisle (which turned out to be in the front half of the store among other grocery items) though after I found them, I was able to take off when I completed my transaction. When walking around today, I saw that the aisles were looking good and most items in stock. When I was checking out, there was no one ahead of me, so it was an easy and quick transaction. I asked a few quick questions, too, and found myself on my way soon after. The W Cash Rewards program is a free program to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why when I happen to visit a Walgreens store as it's so easy to shop there and my experiences are often very pleasant.
