They determined that the wires (hot and neutral) were reversed and they corrected that problem. Then they tested the GFCI on the outlet and said the GFCI feature didn't work, even though the outlet worked. They charged us $175 and said it would be another $350 if we wanted the faulty GFCI outlet replaced with a good one. They could have gone out to their truck, grabbed a new outlet ($15 value) and installed it while they were at our house. I don't recommend Corey Sly Electrical

My parents had him come out to the house and he gave an estimate of $600.00 to pull the door bell wire out with pliers. We ended up hiring a local handy man. He came and it took less than 5 minutes and he charged my parents 50.00. This is ridiculous to charge this for such a small job. I feel like he tried to take advantage of my elderly parents who are on a limited income. Beware. UPDATE/ Amanda, I spoke to Cory myself and he told me he was going to charge 150.00 just to come to the house and give an estimate. I called my parents and asked if they wanted ti pay that. They told me a lady and a man from Cory sly already came by and told them it would cost $800.00. I was wrong, not 600. They said they would have to tear the wall to get to the wiring and that's why it would be so expensive. My parents declined. So do not gaslight me. How do you know you never came out and you don't even know the address? We called a local handyman he came out and did the job in less that 5 minutes without tearing anything up. Do not try to change the story now. Why charge 150 for some people just to go to the house and not others? Why were my parents told they had to tear that part of the house up to get to the wiring?

After checking out my property, they simply stated they CAN'T do the job because it takes too much time and resources. So essentially, they are refusing to fix my air duct because it isn't worth their time. This behavior is absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional. It's so amateur that they can't even manage their schedule properly. I'm thankful they showed their lack of professionalism and experience upfront and saved me the headache of hiring them. My response to the reply: There's no miscommunication. I was scheduled for 9am and the tech arrived at 1pm completely unannounced. The attic has normal access.

Where do I start, Billy Black was my second call. In the past we used what I thought was another…read morereputable company. The company came out to look at our HVAC system and decided at nine years old they wanted to sell us a new system. They assumed we had a leak and it made more sense to replace the whole thing. That company quoted me $13,200 to replace the entire system. Fast forward to my experience with Billy Black. The first time I called I spoke to Billy, just a down-to-earth guy. Billy sent his technician Jake to give me a second opinion. Both Billy and Jake are true professionals. It's clear these guys operate on honesty and integrity. Jake used an electronic device to sniff our entire system. He could not find a leak. We did end up replacing condenser fan motor and topping off the system. I went from $13,200 with the other company to a few hundred with Billy Black. From now on, Billy will be my first phone call.

Our first meeting was 4/16, which went fine. 2 days later, I was sent quotes. After looking over quotes, I changed my mind and went with black windows and black wrap because my house is white. Lisa text'd me she was too busy to provide an updated quote, and she would have a Vanessa W. send a revised quote. When the quote was received, it was a quote for white, not black, windows, and not all windows were included. So I started calling, emailing and texting; I'd either get no response or a long, drawn-out text message about her health/family issues. This is not the way to gain or retain a customer base. Now, with all that being said, this is probably a GREAT company; you just have to get past Lisa to get those windows ordered and installed. ** As of 5/1/26 --- No accurate quote has been sent.

Not only did he pick up after he was done, he went back and cleaned every window plus window frame individually. The time it took him to finish was a few hours for 10+ windows. I'm extremely happy with the service/work/quality they provide. Huge thanks to Vanessa the sales lady that helped us choose our windows and provide us a quote.
