Worst company ever terrible. They will scam you they will tell you everything YOU want to hear .. don't fall into this they told us we had 3 months to decide if we would like to keep these products next week we lost connections and wanted to cancel and have our cameras that we had originally put back like we had agreed on i have this on video and have messages showing this . They want us to pay them 250$ for there services to come over and scam and 4,000$ for the terrible cameras and services they have we have had our ring camera put back in for our safety . Multiple account of fround found from my Google account saying people are trying to log into my account when only me and my wife have access after telling them about this nothing was done. Never get this system. We made the horrible mistake of getting this system, with undisclosed info. Apparently after spending THOUSANDS of dollars on their expensive equipment, you can't access it on your phone EVEN AFTER ITS BEEN PAID OFF without paying for the service fee, which is $68/mo. Ridiculous. So, we told them, we are within the three day time period so we wish to cancel. Everything got installed on 06/14. Today is the FOURTH OF JULY and they still have not come back for their stuff. They have cancelled their appointment twice. I am five months pregnant and have taken off work for TWO whole days, INCLUDING cancelling any potential holiday plans so that they can come. They were supposed to come 06/26 originally, and said at 8am. So I was home. 10:45am rolled around and nothing. I called in and the guy told me, 8-12pm. Sometime between then someone will be over. I waited until 12:45pm and nobody came. Then they said they cancelled and moved it to 06/07. Then the texts shown below came in. The emails began as well, different dates and times. We finally were told July fourth. Here we are yet again, with nothing to do, because we expected them to show. They are flakey, they are insensitive, and quite honestly their practices are immoral at this point. I couldn't imagine putting anyone through this yet alone a pregnant woman. The stress this has caused has been ridiculous. Please, do not make this mistake. I had some neighbors who wanted to get the system and I told them DO NOT. Not after this nightmare. read more

The worst company I have ever done business with.  It took a year to cancel a service that never worked as promised.  After receiving a cancellation letter confirmation from Vivint they still have kept charging my card for 8 months.  Still today they charge my card and I don't use their service. read more

Representative showed up at 9:30 PM knocking on the door and covering the video door-bell I already had in place with his hand. He proceeded to knock several times. Very unprofessional. Terrible company! A salesman came by the house a year ago and talked it up. After asking questions about moving and if I had to cancel it sounded great. Turns out they are all lies. Some equipment they installed never worked right. Now I'm stuck paying for equipment I can't use for another 4 years. on top of that every time I call for support I get people who speak broken English and talk in accents I can barely understand! Through lying and deception a salesman invited himself into my home and stayed for an hour while I was trying to put my tired children to bed. I didn't by the product and I will never buy anything from a company that uses such sleazy sales tactics that inconvenience people's lives, leave my privacy feeling violated, and rely on door to door sales. read more

Really feeling stupid for signing up for more of this service (see my reviews from years past). Gave approval for new security cameras and an upgrade in existing equipment at our home. Techs were friendly but showed up two hours after I was told they would, and then took three hours to do the installation. After they left, we noticed a number of problems with our service, including them not programming our security code into the system (luckily we tested it before leaving and locking our house), a new doorbell that didn't ring, and cameras that detect people on our property every 2-3 minutes even though no one is there. (There are other issues too). Have spent 3-4 hours in chats with customer service trying to get things fixed; some things are fixed and some are not. Vivint is extremely reluctant to send back the techs to finish the job correctly and expect the customer to watch tutorials and try to figure things out on their own. They don't seem to care once they have you signed up for their service. I envision myself having to break my contact with them or disabling much of the system and not using what I'm paying for. The customer shouldn't be doing more work than the company. read more

The service was good while we had it in North Carolina but I have never in my life had so much trouble putting an account on hold or cancelling. You seriously need to inform all of your staff on the proper protocol of what needs to be done or sent in to cancel an account or even out on hold. We moved from our house and everytime I talked to someone there they asked me if I was at my old address after the 5th time of saying I had moved from that address I was done. Update your system so that it can be out in your records if someone has moved. It has been almost 6 months and we still havent been able to cancel our account. I will never again get this service for the ridiculousness I have had to go through the last 6 months!!!!!!!! read more
