I had Vivint security system in two homes for 4 1/2 years. We moved out of state so after calling and dealing with Vivint for those 4 1/2 year I ended up paying them off. The company just isn't worth dealing with as their main concern is them. I had problem after problem with no resolution to any of my problems. We moved to a new house at which time I called and asked what to do about transferring and what did I need to take from old house. They told me to take panel which I did as we walked out door for last time. Couple of days later I called to get certificate on new home which I was told it needed to be installed but would be two weeks before they could do it. I asked why i wasn't told this when I called the night I was leaving which I was told I never called them. I was liked then hoe did I know to take the panel but nothing else plus still had 3 years left on contract which not even an act of God can he cancelled. I called to pay off the account and ended up paying 535.00. Surprise surprise, I got a call in July saying I had paid all but last month as well as I never sent email saying cancel my account. I went back in my saved emails(when dealing with Vivint makes sure you save everything you have sent to and received from them) and found where I sent it to them. When I was called, I asked how in the world would I pay all but last month off and not send email. So after sending them the email I sent back in October, I finally got an email saying that have closed account. With that being said, I'm just waiting for next call about my account. My advice is to lock the doors and windows when they come to sell this system to you. They are the ones that you need security system to protect against them. Worst company ever. read more
