It never feels like a rushed "hi-bye" visit; they take the time to connect, make you feel seen, and somehow manage to be personable, funny, and kind all at once. Honestly, I wish I could be friends with all of them! I've come here for pictures, X-rays, cleanings, deep cleanings, and most recently wisdom teeth removal. Every experience has been amazing, but it was my wisdom teeth removal with Dr. Kamal that drove me to finally write this review. I was terrified going in. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for 5-7 years because my pain tolerance is laughably low (getting my ears pierced was traumatic enough). I had to get all 4 removed at once to relieve some pain I was experiencing, and from the first conversation, the team completely reassured me. They went over everything, post-op plans, expectations, recovery tips and made me feel like I was genuinely in good hands. But even then, I had no idea just how committed they were to making this comfortable for me. The surgery? Flawless. I didn't feel a single bit of pain or discomfort not before, during, or after. I'm someone who cries at a paper cut, so to walk away from oral surgery without pain? Truly a miracle. I chose IV sedation, and it was so easy , i fell asleep, and next thing I knew, I was at home, pain-free and minus four teeth. Recovery has been just as smooth. No pain, no issues, and if there ever was a moment of mild discomfort, Tylenol took care of it. I went in for my post-op checkup and everything is healing beautifully. Ill now be starting my invisalign journey with them. Dr. Kamal is amazing, and I still can't believe how positive this entire experience was. I couldn't have asked for a better team or outcome. I found this dental office recommendation on the next door app. From day one, they were honest, kind and accommodating. From the moment you walk in to their offices, you're greeted warmly and professionally. Everything that they use is state of the art high tech gear. They use the most noninvasive technology you can imagine which makes the entire process SO much easier, quicker and more enjoyable. Also explain everything. I was incredibly impressed with this place and that's saying a lot because I'm picky. I even got to watch Netflix while I waited for the doctor to tend to me. They squeezed me in since I had broken a tooth over the weekend I will be forever grateful to this dental office for doing so. Dr Suffoletta was so kind and patient. I found Durango Dental via Yelp, and not only were they reasonably priced, but they also have appointments 7 days a week. When I called, Jamae answered and was friendly, helpful, and reassuring. She took my information and was able to schedule me the same day. She was even more amazing in person during the check-in and check-out processes. How fortunate this practice is to have her as the first introduction a patient received to the practice. Once back in the treatment room, I was greeted by Dr. Huang. She patiently listened to my concerns, reassured me, and came up with a plan I was comfortable with executing. She was assisted by Ryan, who made me feel like I was an old friend and ensured that he explained every step to me. My follow-up with Dr. Kwok to continue my treatment plan was excellent and hassle-free as well. Everyone I encountered in the practice was so patient, kind, and caring. Sometimes you need to see a periodontist or another specialist, and normally that means making a separate appointment at a totally different location but here, you don't have to go anywhere else. I saw Dr. Sofia Valenzuela, and she is an amazing dentist . She is knowledgeable, gentle, kind and genuinely cares about her patients. The entire staff is just as impressive, everyone in the office is professional, and welcoming. Another thing I really appreciate is that you don't have to wait for anything you need. They are very efficient and their scheduling is great at accommodating busy patients. They did a great job fitting me into a time that worked for me.

But finally I made it a goal to go back. I found this new dentist through my insurance and made an appt. To be honest, the appointment kind of snuck up on me. If not, I probably would've rescheduled from how scared I was, but I'm glad I did it. When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted by two great ladies at the front. Vik was definitely the friendly face that I needed to see when I walked in to make my mind at ease. Once I was called back, the lady that took care of me with my x-rays was super nice and super talkative with me because when I am scared, I am a certified yapper and she literally entertained me the whole time. So thankful for her. The dentist I couldn't be more thankful for Mark Escoto. He came in, had a genuine conversation with me and let him know my concerns and he listened like truly listened. He didn't shave me for avoiding the doctor. He didn't shame me for not flossing like I should. He just understood. I didn't think I'd get my cleaning all at the same day with my x-rays because in the past office that I was in I'd have to do two different scheduling and it was just such a hassle. So to my surprise when I was able to do the cleaning, I was super ecstatic. Nervous but ecstatic that I didn't have to make another appointment. The cleaning itself was pretty good. I was numbed because they knew how sensitive I was and obviously since I hadn't been in years, it was gonna be a little bit rougher. So to spare me that they helped me out with the topical numbing cream. Super appreciative and that's the attention the detail that really makes me feel listened to and cared for here.
