I am normally not someone to submit a review but I would feel guilty not bringing some things to attention. Nail service quality is spotty, Michelle (I think is her name) is the best from my experience. The customer service was horrible. My hand has been slapped away MULTIPLE times, they are easy to be frustrated by what you requested or you in general, and most importantly they are blatantly disrespectful. The sweetest young girl came in with her father while I was getting my service done, they were both unsure of how everything worked (understandably). My nail lady began to ask them a question and then loudly said "Can she not speak? What the f**k!". Once I had raised some concern she began to be inappropriate with me, "Let me behave myself" and started rolling her eyes. They do not have much respect for the customer and their wishes. 6/10 times your nails look okay but in the process you are made to feel bad for coming? Please save your money for a more respectful salon! read more

STAY AWAY!!! We are getting ready for a Disney trip and decided to get my fiancé and step daughters nails done a Disney theme(Minnie mouse to be exact). This is what we got. My fiancé left bawling her eyes out, she's 5 months pregnant and it was a jam packed store so she did not feel confident enough to say something by herself while still there. When I called to complain I asked for a manager or an owner and got the usual run of the mill nail lady. I asked them where I could send the photos so they could see what I was talking about and why we were all unhappy. I ended up speaking with 3 different employees, all of which were very argumentative even after seeing the photos and blamed my fiancé for not speaking up while still there. She was supposed to get a pedicure as well but left after she was seated and saw how bad the work done so far was. They said the Minnie Mouse on our 5 year olds toes was messed up because her nails were so small(which if that's the case how did they manage to get the dots so far apart?) and that my fiancé's nails looked the way they did because they just trimmed them to the shape of her real nail(really? 4 squared edges with an extremely rounded middle nail, embarrassing). I originally called looking for a solution to a very clear problem and was met with nothing but hateful women trying to convince me that this was a good job. If this is a good job by their standards keep your money and run!! The service received looks more like something from an out of home nail shop not an actual nail salon. Not worth the headache, time, or stress of dealing with rude employees or a business that can't admit when it's made a mistake!! read more

The salon was very clean and the service was good. I asked for s n s nails (dip), to keep the nail length I already had (which was pretty long), and for my nails to be oval shape. The nail tech cut my nails short, the dip was incredibly thick, and my nails are extremely square. The work was good, just not what I asked for. Pretty disappointed :/ my friends acrylics looked great though. Probably would only come back if I was getting those. read more

i went to get prom nails done with my friend a year ago and the worker got mad at me for talking to my friend that was sitting beside me. my hand accidentally moved when he was doing my nails and he slapped my hand. he wasn't joking or anything either. he overcharged me completely . $100 for almond acrylic french tip . never came back there and don't plan on it. read more

Accidentally selected the wrong service on paper and corrected pretty quickly. I spent the rest of the time paying for this error through an extremely rough service. Wish they would have said "can't do it" instead of torturing my feet for 30 minutes. It was an honest mistake that didn't need this level of upset. Side note - at least the color was pretty and when I can walk rather than hobble again, I'll show that off. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I come in and every seat in the lobby is full of women waiting. There are four nail techs working and I find a place to sit and wait. Two of the nail techs finish and instead of coming and getting someone else they go to the back pedicure chairs and start watching TV and playing on their phones. Talking to some of the other girls I find out they've been waiting three and four hours to be seen. So now there are just two people doing nails. The next thing I know a young girl walks in and immediately goes the back and starts picking out a nail color and the mother walks in after and just starts telling one of the guys what she wants and he goes and starts to work on this girl just ignoring all of us who've been waiting for hours. You can't get an appointment at this place it's walk-in only so I don't know what was so special about her. At least that's what I was told when I called to make an appointment. Apparently waiting for several hours is the norm here. I was recommended by a friend who had heard it was a good place but honestly I will never go back and I will not recommend anyone go. read more

Was visiting my son at EKU and wanted to get my nails done. The salon is very clean as I have seen my fair share of not so clean salons. I felt very welcomed as I was hesitant to try a new place, they had the Cat Eye style for nails. I was surprised as I have always wanted to try it but the salons in my hometown don't do that style. The prices here are awesome! Inside is nice and clean with updated equipment. My only complaint is the past 3 times I've been the nail tech has used a drill on my nails and nicked me to where I bleed! My fingers are sore for days. Other than that, they do a good job. Just ask to be careful with the drill or not use it at all. read more

My mom and I decided to come here after the salon was recommend to us by a Facebook friend. We both got pedicures and my mom got a sns manicure. Our pedicures were great, however, the nail techs who did our pedicures were a bit rude. The nail tech who did the sns was great until the very end, when we asked for her to check our pedicures for mistakes. She said okay, but when I bent over to grab my phone I dropped I heard her say " oh dear god" rudely. We were very pleased with our experience up until then. read more

This was the first time I had my nails done in Richmond, we usually go somewhere in Lexington. The good: they seem really clean. They're the only ones in the area that line the pedicure bowl, which I really like. My technician gave one of the best massages. Usually it's a light, quick (non)massage. He put some umph into it and it was really relaxing. The prices we're great, $22 for a regular pedicure, $12 (I believe) for a manicure. I was there at 3:45 on Friday and had a 30 min wait. I put my name down and left. When I came back, I was taken back within 2-3 minutes. They filled up by this time but I didn't feel that my tech rushed at all that was very nice. The not-so-good: the drill. What's up with that? I wasn't expecting that and never had it before. I'm not so sure it's a good idea with regular pedicures. I'd probably ask them not to use it next time. Also, they didn't have as many nail polish options as I'm use to. They probably deserved 5* but the drill threw me for a curve. read more

Came in of a Friday afternoon and there were only 2 nail technicians available with 4 people still waiting to be taken care of. I waited over 2 hours to be taken care of, technicians were on their phones while doing clients nails, actually had one of them roll his eyes at me when I asked him if he could shorten my nail, one technician was just standing in the back looking at the people waiting to get their nails done. My little sister came here to get her nails done. Not only did the lady cut her cuticles too hard but she made her bleed three times, her nails are cracking and it's been four days. Very clean, nice atmosphere. Pedicure was great and they line the foot tub, which I liked. Had a no chip manicure as well which looked great but starting chipping and pealing after two days! I will try again but that was disappointing. read more
