He handled the situation with professionalism and accountability, turning a very negative experience into one worthy of a second chance. *** Appalling, Contemptuous Treatment of a Paying Customer. Shockingly horrible customer service. On August 13, 2026, I placed an order at approximately 5:40 p.m. The restaurant accepted my payment and prepared and served my crêpe without mentioning that they would be closing shortly. Just a few minutes after serving me, an employee abruptly announced that they were closing in two minutes. When I asked what I was expected to do, he told me I had to leave at 6:00 p.m. and that he could package my crêpe to go. When I objected, he rudely told me that I "should have known" they closed at 6:00. If dine-in customers must leave promptly at closing, they should be informed before ordering. I could then have decided whether to order my food to go or eat elsewhere. Instead, they accepted my money, served me, and then almost immediately told me to leave--as though their failure to communicate were somehow my fault. When I asked the employee for his name, he sarcastically replied, "I don't have a name." He then offered to call the company himself but ultimately refused to do so. This was not a simple misunderstanding about closing time. The employee was rude, confrontational, dismissive, and openly contemptuous. A business cannot thrive when customer service is nonexistent--or, worse, when customers are treated with such disrespect. I had the Turkey Royal crepe (without tomato sauce) which included Gruyère cheese and it was very good. A little lite on the turkey, but tasty. The hubby had the New York Crepe, which was loaded with ham, egg, and Gruyère cheese. It was also very good. I added a Dulce de leche iced coffee to round out my meal. It was, okay. Great little crepe joint. I got the Amelie crepe which comes with spinach, goat cheese, mushrooms, and basil. It was very tasty! The goat cheese really added most of the flavor. Would love to come back and try a sweet crepe. $12 for one crepe. It wasn't huge so it didn't completely fill me up, but it was still a decent amount of food. It's cool that you can watch the workers make the crepes in front of you. Very tight in the restaurant with not great seating options for groups bigger than 2. So I get that the buckwheat batter is made for both savory and sweet crepes, however there is no salt added either to the batter or inside. This establishment had a very diverse menu, and all of the food we got was delicious. However, it was tiny with very little room to sit and the tables upstairs are all high-tops. You may find a spot to sit and eat, but are probably better off picking up the food and taking it elsewhere. There are a few tables downstairs, but you need to go down a steep circular staircase to get there. Also, the bathrooms are down those stairs. Which is another reason that I would recommend this restaurant for take-out rather than eat-in. The employees were very nice and acommodating to special orders. This small crepe place is famous and well known to many in the manhattan area. My first time was a few months ago and I loved it, but recently I tried it again and still loved it. The ratio of fillings to crepe was almost perfect. It was flavorful and easy to eat. It was also hot and made as you order. The only downside is the price. Almost $11 for something that won't suffice as a meal. The price is not so exceptionally high that it impacts my rating to much so I still give it a five stars. read more

People were arguing about who ordered when and crepes are apparently given out by type and not by person's name...so if you order a cheese crepe, for example, and someone comes in 20 min after you and orders the same and claims the first cheese crepe called out, you're out of luck. read more
