We hired Vivax to replace some water damaged siding, repaint the exterior of our house, and stain our pergola. The whole process went very smoothly and Vivax was great about laying out the initial schedule and sticking to it. I was impressed with their attention to detail and that they ensured that all of the surfaces were appropriately prepped before painting. We worked with Tim Florio on the wood/siding repairs and with Jacob Mountfort for the main painting process. Both were great. Tim did a good job of identifying the damaged siding that needed replaced and we were especially appreciative of Jacob's attention to detail and frequent walkthroughs with us to identify places that could use touch ups. Great experience overall and would definitely hire them again to paint our house. read more

I have had my house painted twice by Vivax over the years, and if it ever needs it again, I will call Vivax. I like their people, I like the way they run their business, and they do a fantastic job painting the house. Both times it ends up looking like a newly built house. read more

Sorry to everyone that hates long reviews but this one can't be done any other way. My wife and I were interested in giving our home a face lift with new paint and we're visited by a Vivax rep shortly after our conversation. We were given a few different quotes based off of seasonal discounts and figured we would set up a spring appointment. After that, our experience started to take a turn south. We struggled to pick colors from the Vivax promotional color pallets. I reached out to the project manager and said that we'd like to get some input from them about colors since we were struggling and our window to pick colors was closing. I was told that they were very busy but they would reach out when their schedule opens up. The next time I heard anything, it was that I had to pick colors in the next day and a half. We reluctantly picked some colors that we were not confident in. Next we scheduled the walk around that would be to go over what colors went where. I told the project manager during our conversation that we were not confident in our colors and wanted feedback during our walk through. We then explained that we work nights and that we wouldn't be available to do our walk around until at least noon. We were told no problem, they could come after noon. The day of our walk through, after my wife didn't get home from work until 3:30am, and me being up for almost 30hours in order to watch our son, the crew was at our door at 9 am (so, for our sleep schedule that day, that's the middle of our sleep time). We are woken by our ring and see that they are three hours early. I texted the PM and said that we had an appointment for noon and we would see them then. I was surprised when he texted back that they were here now and wanted to get an early start on things. Remember this is the same guy we told noon at the earliest. He then tries to guilt me that he doesn't want to send his guys home because they've come all the way out here to get an early start. I tell him that's not my problem because we had an appointment and that his decision to call his guys in was a mistake on his part. This text conversation lasted about 40 minutes with him really trying to guilt me and eventually saying we'll be back at noon. At this point I've been up for almost an hour and am steaming. I text the PM and say that we have to reschedule because I don't feel like our interaction will be productive because of them disregarding our appointment. I then get a ton of of push back about how that's not possible. I stand my ground and say that it will have to happen or I will reach out to his superiors and explain what happened. Eventually my wife and I decided that we just aren't comfortable with moving forward with Vivax at all. I tell the PM that we are going to work with someone else and he tries to get us to backtrack by saying we will be responsible for paying for the paint they already purchased (we were told that they would be coming to do a walk around and then they would pressure wash that day) so I just said I'd take it up with their superior. Didn't hear anything for almost a week. But when I did it was a call from a man named Bob. Bob is a magician. I was so done with Vivax. He asked me what had happened and listened. When I was done with my story he asked that he be given a chance to win back our business. He seemed very concerned about how everything went down and assured me that he would honor the discount for spring no matter how long it took to get everything right. He assured us that every color would be available to us and that he would send us color renderings of our house to help us make color decisions. On top of that he said that anytime we had any questions to give him a call, he understood that we had unique schedules and was going to go out of his way to answer any question or concern ASAP. He didn't disappoint. As a matter of fact he exceed expectations over and over again. We finally felt comfortable enough with colors to set up a walk around (meaning go over colors and then pressure wash the house to have it prepped for painting). I then reached out to the new PM (Matt) to set up the walk around. We met up to do the walk around and were calmed by Matt telling us his job was to make us happy with the results. We were fans of his right away. Both Bob and Matt are a part of the A team at Vivax for sure. We went from 1 to 5 because of the right people. Vivax could have done a better job initially but at least they invested in some people that can fix any deficiencies that might come up. Overall we couldn't be happier that we worked with Vivax which is crazy to say after how thing started! read more

Vivax Pros recently painted the trim on our garage and on our 100 year old home. It was a small job from their perspective, but huge in our minds because it included painting roof overhangs, the front porch ceiling and a foundation with 4 inset windows. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Vivax's professionals! Robbie (our estimator) answered all our questions, patiently explained the process and perfectly matched our green trim. Our project manager Ivan kept everyone on track and, even more importantly, kept his word. He was professional, but very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and caring. You don't always find that combination in the people you hire. Domingo and his son were total rock stars--getting the job done in 1.5 days as promised, despite a temperature of 97 degrees! I highly recommend Vivax and will use them again should the need arise. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Vixax Pro Painting! We just moved to Colorado and we absolutely love our new home but the colors weren't our favorite. When they came knocking it took all the guess work out of picking a company. From a super easy walk around and proposal about what is done and how. Jesse made it the process easy to understand. He got us on schedule to start early in the season which got us a great discount. Kyrié and her wood working team were great and so fast with their work. Buck and his team Omar and Luis were painting wizards. We don't have a small house by any means and going in I thought it would be like 4 or 5 people working but with these guys 2 was all they needed. They were so fast and did such an amazing job. My kids thought them on the ladders around was the funniest thing. I am so happy we went with Vixax and I would highly recommend them to anyone! We got the 9 year warranty so we will definitely be sticking with them for the long hall and I'm so happy. Thank you to the whole team for making our house look so beautiful and feel like our home. read more

My experience with Vivax, was fantastic. Everyone I dealt with was professional and genuinely concerned about my requests and concerns. I was impressed from the sales person, Anthony, through the office staff, Morgan, Chelsea, and Mackensie. And, especially, our project manager, Drew, was the best! He was always available in person, or via text or phone, and had such a vivacious attitude. The house looks great. I highly recommend Vivax Pros. read more

We hired Vivax to paint our house last year. One of the things that helped us in our decision was their written warranty. We didn't think we'd need it but thought it'd be good to have. As it turns out, one of their employees that lives near us pointed out that the gutters were peeling. He gave us the number for Lindsay, the warranty coordinator. She set us up with an appointment with Dylan, the warranty manager. He showed up exactly at the appointed time and we reviewed what needed to be done. His painter, Justen, showed up a half hour later and started working. Justen sanded the whole gutter system and repainted it all. He worked straight through the day and did a superb job. He didn't leave a mess and made sure I was satisfied before he left. We are very happy we chose Vivax to paint our house and we highly recommend them. read more

I am so impressed with everyone I worked with at Vivax Painting. First, Dani came to the house and advised me on color choices. She has great taste! Then I had a project manager, Patrick, who was incredibly informative and constantly kept me updated on everything from start to finish. The guys in the painting crew were so kind, even when I was probably underfoot. They were friendly and answered all my questions. Shout out to Sergio and his team! Thank you! You all did a great job! The painting itself is perfect, and the project manager walked around the house multiple times when they finish to make sure everything is exactly as it should be. Then I walked around the house with the project manager, and the crew, to make sure everything was painted thoroughly. I honestly couldn't be happier with this experience. Every single person from start to finish was professional and friendly, and kept me up to date on the entire project. I will never use another painting service. This is the one, hands down. Super impressed with Vivax! Joanna was great to work with. They are professional and very detailed oriented.

Jennifer Dietz (Project Mgr), Luis (paint lead), and Jose (paint lead) were all exactly what I hoped for and expected. They all did an excellent job painting 2 of our houses. They had a wood repair crew (Xander) that prepped both houses, sealing all the cracks where caulking had cracked or was gone completely, and replaced trim boards where the boards had swelled or rotted. Exactly what I needed. And the 9-yr non-exclusive warranty also is an awesome asset. Definitely recommend. read more

Vivax is great! Love the warranty they provide! They definitely live up to their great reputation.

We love Vivax. The initial meeting was very well done. Kristen gave us multiple options for paint, styles and warranties. Once we decided to move forward, Vivax was extremely accommodating with scheduling. During the process, our project manager Brian communicated very well. We had some special requests and add-ons, and they were all completed at an affordable rate. The painting itself was done very well, and ahead of schedule. We are very happy with the results. read more

Great paint job! Hard working crew. My house looks brand new. Will definitely recommend.

It was time to get the house painted and I was going to give Vivax Pros a call for a quote when, coincidentally, their guy came to the door and I set up a time for a sales pitch. My overall experience with Vivax Pros was very positive, from the time meeting with the initial sales rep who described the work and provided the quote, to the actual end of job walk through. The overall cost was reasonable (thank you for the veteran discount) and the job was completed on schedule. I could not be more pleased with Jessica Dietz, the project manager overseeing prep and painting, who was very professional, not only in answering any and all questions and concerns that I had, but was very committed to ensuring that I was completely satisfied with the end result. Emilio, the crew foreman, had the prep and painting completed in the 2 days as promised, but I did feel that the work may have been a bit rushed to finish the job ahead of approaching weather. Nevertheless, in the end, and with a few touch-ups, the overall quality of the work met my expectations to where I am quite pleased with the overall result. The only negative experience (and the reason for 4 stars) was the replacement of some decorative wood facade that was rotten and in need of repair. Handled under a different woodworking manager, the job was quoted for 2x4s but was replaced in part with 1x4s screwed together. The saving grace was that Jessica made sure that the prep and painting filled the gaps to where the difference is barely noticeable. In the end, I have no regrets in having Vivax Pros bring my house up to the HOA standards and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

A shout out to VIVAX PROS. This is the 4th time we have used them for various houses. They came out and did our house/deck staining and house trim painting and once again, they did an amazing job. Carlos Gomez (project manager) and his team were so professional and made the whole process so easy. And the best part about VIVAX is you don't pay anything up front. They insist on you being 100% happy before they take any form of payment. We will definitely use them again in the future. read more

The Vivax Pros team completed my house painting project last week, including repairs to some badly worn/rotting sideboards. Communication was excellent. The woodwork was repaired properly and timely, and primed. The prep was solid, they re-caulked *everything* right down to the nail-heads on the facia and trim boards. The painting team knocked it out in 3 days, too, including two full coats of the primary and two trim/accent colors. Excellent job. Highly recommend. read more

UPDATE 7/14/20: After ame Jamal and his boss Mr Justin has come out a few times to assess our back door; few parts ordered THE DOOR IS FIXED! I wish that it wouldn't have taken so long and that I didn't leave such a negative review but we're decently happy customers! Besides the hassle to get it fixed we may use them again. ---------------------------------------------------- I'm shocked to give this review but here I go. This company puts up a good game with their three levels of paint jobs all at different price points, their map of customers in your area that had their homes painted by this company so you can look at their work on your own and a warranty. What the company doesn't tell you or ask you is about the sign they'll stick in your yard for free advertisement, or the fact that they'll need to come back a few times to touch up. Oh and if they break your screen door while painting it's gonna take, so far, about 3 weeks for them to do anything about it despite taking responsibility for it. Ok so here's how it went, I ended up spending an extra $250 on pizza, fruit and drinks for the crew that painted my home for two days. I made lemonade from scratch, set out coke and ordered pizza and did what I could to be sure they were as comfortable as could be while they painted my home. Once on the back of the house they extended the screen door too far and it hasn't closed right sense. The supervisor, Jamal, is a nice guy who's professional and polite looked at it and said he'd get his boss to look at it. Fast forward to today(6/30/20) when Mr. Jamal's boss was supposed to show up with a resolution between 11:30 and 1... he's a no show. No phone call or a return text or call about my inquiry of when he'll show. Up until this point Vivax has been fairly good but I regret paying for their services when they have left my door broken and don't seem to care much about fixing it. Don't use this company because they don't seem UPDATE 7/14/20 read more

I'm a Vivax Pro fan and had my house painted by you guys years ago. While I remain a fan and will be using you again for a re-paint, you really need to pay attention to the "no soliciting" sign on my door. Any other salesman that ignores my sign typically gets a hard time from me but I've been nice to the 2 Vivax Pro sales folk that did so. We recently had our house repainted by Vivax Pros. The free estimated was easy to schedule through Megan and Kyle. Price was much better than I anticipated. Kyle explained all the different prices and paint options very well. Once we decided on which price point we wanted to go with, I was contacted by the Project Manager Carlos. He came out after the house was pressure washed. Explained everything again and how the process would work once they got started. We went over the colors again painted a few sample areas to see what it would look like. Few days later the crew arrived as scheduled and on time. Raul the crew chief was great. He and his crew worked fast and clean. We had no issues and if something did come up he'd ask what I wanted to do to make sure we were happy. Lines look clean, no spillages, drips, paint runs or anything. House and paint look great! Highly recommend VivaxPros here in Denver for getting your house painted read more

Vivax Deadline/scheduling errors: 1. Every appointment was attempted to be or rescheduled by Vivax. Most dates were in place for months at the attempted changes. 2. Wood and Project Mgr switched last minute. 3. Morgan redid bid over 60 plus emails for Vivax missed rotten/spongy wood so woodwork bid doubled. 4. PM removed wood without approval 9/22 upon email within 8 minutes I was not available to do so. 5. Woodwork walkthrough was scheduled for 9/03 she emailed 9/09 & I allowed it to be moved to 9/01 but they wanted a week early. 6. Lucy states on email 9/09 but 9/03 was actual woodwork completion date. 7. Lucy states on email 8/30 Color Release but due 9/06. 8. Lucy apologized for stating on email paint week was 9/27 when Morgan had given us the 9/20 on 8/09. Vivax job errors: 1. Woodwork bid was unable to be finished on Vivax contract form with pictures, only done through written email as Vivax software failing. 2. 50 plus screws drilled into decorative porch rail, not 1 screw used prior and lasted 20 plus years. ---Skylan agreed to place 1x2"belly board below rail for above errors per written email which you left the job today without doing. Then assigned belly board to paint crew on prep day? 3. Caleb removed 1x2" wood without approval 9/22 upon email within 8 minutes I was not available to do so. 4. Caleb delivers paint/supplies night before start after asking me "Has the paint arrived". Delivered it to front porch on 50 degree night -- I moved indoors to preserve the paint. 5. 300 plus uncaulked nailheads, primer missing on undersides of many siding boards, thick vs. thin on most caulk lines, foot-long splinters on rail in 2 places below bay windows on front porch, scraped chunks out of siding above swamp cooler, below bay window. Personal insults: 1. While discussing "Vivax Job Error 2" on 9/22 evening, with my son Erik present, Caleb stated that "Makes me want to come back with a nail gun and make holes in your house" and made the motion of spraying a gun. 2. 9/23 The 1st time I was told I could let out the dog the gate was shut, not locked. Justin commented that "Didn't know you had a dog", ashamed they didn't lock it. 3. 3. 9/23 2nd time they gave me the OK to let my dog into the backyard there were 2 loaded and 1 full caulking tubes, that he got a hold of. I had to chase him & hope he did NOT ingest any. 4. Countless errors in gaps, coverage and consistency with caulking and priming (photos) did warrant an" incompetent" comment. Not one of your workers claimed to speak English, so saying this near them wouldn't be understood. 5. Mr. Ziel grew up in a Hispanic town (Windsor) with many Hispanic friends so no discrimination in play. 6. Why did your crew stay from Noon to 1pm, beyond lunch & the "insults" you claim we said? 7. Vivax Justin Tiemann and Logan Hall are unqualified to manage their own team & therefore the subcontractor is without accountability. Like I've heard many times through this process house painters are the car salesman of hime improvement. The pictures don't lie. We deserve a refund at least $1,000 for this level of subpar work. read more

We recently had our house painted by Vivax Pros and we are extremely happy with the results. This company does not do what they say. First we were told one price that included discounts for signing up early and putting up there signs. Then when they gave us the final bill they did not give us the discounts and add them back into the price. Then when I questioned the bill they told me because I choose to finance over a year to pay the bill through an outside company I don't get the discounted price. They told me this after there work was completed and are still trying to get us to pay the full price. I'm still fighting this with them because it does not state this in any paper work we received. BECAREFUL of open ended promises. They also have a lack of communication in the company. We were talking with so many different people and they were not talking with each other. We seriously answered the same question just to different people. Annoying. Another issue is getting the painting done. I specifically asked at the consultation who would be painting the house because for the price they charge I was looking for experienced and highly qualified workers. The house was painted poorly. The workers who painted were nice but spoke little English so when we tried to communicate with them we had lots of issues. There was no one else here to help translate. We were told we would have a project manager that would be on site but saw him maybe one hour during the three days the workers were here. Last issue, we have a ton of touch ups needed they have now come out twice and still didn't get all the touches completed properly. Now waiting for the project manager to get back with me again to get them fixed. When I asked the project manager why I'm finding some many touch up mistakes he didn't have an answer for me. When I asked him if he did a final walkthrough of the house before showing us, he looked at me like I'm crazy! Who shows someone a final product as complete but never checked it out for himself and he is the project manager!!!!! Working with this company has been a terrible experience and highly recommend looking elsewhere. If you would like pictures I'm willing to share more. Look at their finish product on how they left our deck and so many spots that didn't get painted. read more

We recently used VIVAX for exterior wood repair and painting following extensive damage from a hail storm earlier this year. The entire process ran so smoothly and we are extremely happy with the end result. We had a great experience with VIVAX painting our house five years ago and this time was even better, which I didn't think possible. After being ghosted by the contractor we planned to use, VIVAX came through quickly to come up with a plan to get the work done before winter. All phases of this project were top notch. The initial walk through and estimate with Riley was exceptional - she was very detailed, offered suggestions to ensure quality and manage costs, and even tracked down some photos of a house with similar colors to help with paint selection. She was responsive and helped me work with our insurance company. The wood repair was done really well and Chris even came back a second time after the roofing to ensure everything was fully repaired. Drew, the project manager, was outstanding! He communicated really well, carefully monitored the work and progress, and shared expert advice on painting our faux-Tudor style exterior. Drew made sure we were satisfied throughout and that the final product was A+. His strong commitment to high quality showed in the final product. Joel and his crew went above and beyond every step of the way - their attention to detail and the effort put into this exceeded our expectations. They were supposed to spray our fence and after starting decided the quality wasn't good and rolled the entire thing. They also willingly repainted the front entrance when I didn't like the initial color. I am beyond happy with this VIVAX team and love my new house. While I hope I won't need it, I have the peace of mind from the VIVAX warranty. Thanks Riley, Drew, Joel, and the rest of the team!! read more
