Sadly, I've never seen anything like this in the US so one must eat this far too often when visiting ba. Aside from their dope bakery items, the mint-ginger lemonade, cafe con leches and more traditional lunch fare (cake can be consumed for lunch btw) are a notch above the many bakeries you can find in Soho. The ambiance is a whimsical, playful and chic layout with swing seating and service that's on point.

For American of course it's relatively cheap for local. I went to this place on Monday, May 23, 2022, completely looking forward to having a great breakfast, again, after visiting this location on the weekend. The sign on the door said we're closed because of lack of staff (in Spanish.) Today, on my visit, I was happy to find this location OPEN, but within 2 minutes I had to witness a worker by the name of Cynthia LOUDLY BERATING a young server (who served me on the weekend prior and provided stellar customer service.) I asked Cynthia if she was the owner of the establishment and she said "No." I went on to tell her in Spanish that I could not believe how she was yelling at the young service woman and that it was COMPLETELY uncalled for. Others in the restaurant were visibly shocked to hear Cynthia berate her coworker but no one said anything. I hope the owner of this wonderful establishment trains employees to treat each other with dignity and respect. The restaurant will be less likely to close if employees know they can come to work in a safe environment. The food is great and the rest of staff at this location in Almagro & Villa Crespo are WONDERFUL.
