The insanity that is the oreo-cake should be marveled and appreciated by foodies everywhere. This cake is on another planet with easily 20-30 oreos per slice, nestled between chocotorta filling and topped generously with a glaze-frosting hybrid. Sadly, I've never seen anything like this in the US so one must eat this far too often when visiting ba. Aside from their dope bakery items, the mint-ginger lemonade, cafe con leches and more traditional lunch fare (cake can be consumed for lunch btw) are a notch above the many bakeries you can find in Soho. The ambiance is a whimsical, playful and chic layout with swing seating and service that's on point.

We had to wait 2 hrs for a table at Don Julio so walked around and found this Cafe. We ordered a cappuccino cino and a cake. Both were delicious!!

Pani: stopped in for a coffee and dessert. Had the cappuccino and the Floriquita dessert. The slice of cake was HUGE and really rich and delicious. I couldn't even finish my portion despite it being absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere with plenty of tables and seating with prompt friendly service and big picturesque windows. Looks like the women love this place as there was hardly a seat open for what seemed like table after table of women sitting and chatting. They have a full food menu that looked appealing; just wasn't ready for another full meal just yet. I recommend this place on San Martin if you're in the neighborhood. Cappuccino ran about $120 and the pie set me back $300.

Eating blue cheese ice cream…read more This needs to be Number One On your bucket list of things you do before you die. Eating pumpkin ice cream should be Number Two. 85% Chocolate should be Number Three. Okay, never mind ranking the flavors. Just buy a ticket for a three month stay in Buenos Aires and eat everything Alchemy has got. * * * Alchemy is widely considered to be one of the best ice cream parlors in Buenos Aires. The reputation is fully deserved. The ice cream menu is presented on the wall as a sheet metal table of the elements. They light up the flavors they have on a given day. The table of the elements is hard to forget. About eight of the elements are fully alcoholic. They are based on Argentine cocktails such as Fernet and Cola or Gin and Tonic. I was too busy eating the other exotic flavors ... but vermouth and orange ice cream sounds just fine to me. * * * We have been eating here a lot. Why shouldn't your days end being happy?

There's outdoor seating, though mostly smokers congregate there. Even at 9 pm, several families were arriving to enjoy gelato. We had cocktails, pizza, and gelato. I seriously considered ordering a chai tea to go but decided against it at the last minute (it looked legit). The gelato list here is ridiculous!!! You cannot help but smile at the options. You must check it out.
