Straightforward, great breakfast- fresh OJ, delicious coffee, perfectly cooked eggs, barely-battered French Toast with bacon. Great location, quaint establishment and great prices. I wasn't disappointed and I'm kind-a picky.

I was taken to this place after searching on Yelp with my belly still full from lunch, just to start the review being very honest. Checking in on Yelp gives you a free cinnamon roll, the most famous treat from the venue, which is absolutely delicious. I'm attaching a picture of it here on Yelp. I was very impressed with the mango and passion fruit milkshake, such an alternative mix, and it works out great! They managed to make it light even with mango. Wifi works really well, and the local coffee has a high reputation, so if you need to work having a nice coffee, maybe it's a good venue to go. In case you are really into chocolate, the chocolate cake with berries sauce and cream taste very good They don't spare the berries, also the portion is huge. You can easily share one.

What a fab little lunch lugar! It's cute, it's bright, and they have eggs 'n bacon. The french toast is thick, delicious and filling. They've got breakfasty things, lunchy things, pastries, smoothies, coffee and the like. Bring all your friends for a lovely brunch.

A perfect breakfast: French toast with maple syrup, bacon, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee.

Every time we go to Cafe Crespin we are thoroughly satisfied. The pastrami sandwich is the tops! I can't recommend it highly enough. They offer a wide variety for breakfast. The French toast with maple syrup is really good, especially when accompanied by bacon and scrambled eggs. The servers are efficient and friendly; the ambiance is bright and upbeat. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you are staying in Palermo, this is worth walking to for breakfast or lunch. Or take a taxi. Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

My favorite breakfast place, hands-down, when visiting Buenos Aires. Great eggs, panceta, pancakes, french toast. Im never disappointed.

Buenos Aires spoiled us -- and La Alacena was the crown jewel…read more After four Michelin-starred restaurants in four days, La Alacena stood out as my absolute favorite. The atmosphere inside is warm and charming, exactly the kind of place you want to linger over a long meal. We shared two pasta dishes, both light yet surprisingly satisfying -- the kind of portions that feel just right rather than leaving you stuffed. The standout was the lemon sauce over the tortellini: perfectly balanced, bright, and simply flawless. A genuine 1-of-1. This would have been an effortless 5-star review... if I hadn't gotten locked in the bathroom. Please fix that. Everything else? Perfection.

The first time I went to dine in I was told there was no tables and had to wait which is normal for a late night but then a group of four people arrived and were seated right away. This baffled me but I just waited patiently until the same guy that seated the group told me he had space at the terrace but it was a bit chilly. My server for the night was nice and friendly. The second time I attended was this morning. I wanted to get a quick bite to eat and some coffee. Again, went in and was completely ignored by the lady that was at the entrance which greeted a couple that got there right before me. I had to ask if it was okay for me to seat and they scolded me for asking where after they already said I could seat anywhere. I ordered my food and left with the feeling that they seemed to be annoyed and that's a weird way to treat a paying costumer. Anyway, food was good.
