I also had the pleasure of joining their Saturday morning yoga class with Becky in the barn. $12 for 1 hour. The barn easily accommodates a large group and a nice breeze and fans in each corner made the morning yoga session just perfect. They have yoga mats, blocks, and knee pads available for use. I also joined the late morning sound bath session with Carrie. $35 for 1 hour. The hour went by so quick. It was so relaxing and calming. Carrie utilizes a variety of bowls and instruments to general sound and vibrations over and around us in a guided relaxation session. They have yoga mats and pillows available for use. Between the yoga and sound bath, Lori brought out light refreshments to include ice tea, blueberry cucumber water, gluten free honey bars, lavender and earl grey shortbread cookies, and a melon blueberry salad. Perfect for a quick snack in between sessions. The Barn is adjacent to the Spa and located at 112 Cedar Ridge Rd.

Ashtanga Yoga is the perfect integration of hot yoga's physical fitness and the graceful flow (kind of dance-like) and breath. I was terrified to try Ashtanga thinking it would be too advanced for me or too demanding, but I found the instructor gently guided me through each and every move and each preceding flow was in preparation for the next level. I have tried hot yoga, vinyassa, and Astanga. For me, I dig Ashtanga because some days, I simply want to break a sweat and feel like I have accomplished a good work out. Other days I want to feel the constant movement and flow with the work out and others, I simply wish for the meditative-flow/ spiritual aspect of yoga. The way that Donna teaches Ashtanga allows you to take it how you want. There is no pushing for the ultimate work out or the highest of spiritual experiences, but she guides you to make your own decision and own it in that moment. I also dig the Vinyassa or flow. It is gentle enough to take my friends who are timid to take yoga, but once again there is the option to bump it up. The flow of both reminds me of a dance. Have yet to try any classes other than Vinyassa and Ashtanga, but I dig the other clients and it feels like a great yoga community building up. Sorry if this was to rant-y, but I just truly found my passion for yoga with JRYoga. Hope this helps!
